After a failed wedding, Rowena of Bevelaire is abandoned by her treacherous father and left to the tender mercies of her intended groom, Prince Talin. A dangerous man with his own agenda, Talin could be Rowena’s damnation or destiny.
To safeguard his people, Prince Talin is determined to do anything, including marry the daughter of his bitter enemy. But a marriage to Lady Rowena could cost him a kingdom … or his heart.
Robin Danner writes sweet and sexy historicals and lives in Alabama with her husband and three sons. When she is not writing, she enjoys watching reality television and singing karaoke … quite possibly off-key!
is a graduate of Troy University and published her first novel not long after earning her degree in Biology. She currently works full-time and shuffles her time between writing, work, and her family.
Reading Ms. Danner's book was like visiting a fairytale castle of old: you are entranced by the beauty of it all and wish you could stay there for some time. I was immediately wrapped up in the story and fell in love with the main characters from the get-go. Rowena was a charming, feisty heroine with a dark secret that haunted her. Talin was the dashing prince with a war to win and a roguish, sexy glint in his eye. The two of them together: sexual chemistry at its best! I truly look forward to the next book in this dazzling series.
The second book in Robin Danner’s Princes Series doesn’t disappoint. It’s the love story between Rowena and Talin, prince of Noventia. Beyond that, though, it fills in important information about Rowena’s background and introduces Sara, Rowena’s sister. It also casts doubt on who really killed the old king, Talin’s and Mathis’s father. Everyone had assumed it was Roarke, Rowena’s father.
Danner uses an intriguing blend of conspiracy, romance and fantasy, with a historical feel about it, to draw readers in. The characters are lively and the pages turn of their own accord. Plus there’s quite the teaser at the end. I’ll be buying book three as soon as it comes out.
