Welcome to the Pond is a sci-fi graphic novel series loosely based on Paul Valliere’s experience as a marine in the recent Iraq Conflict.  Mankind has colonized beyond our solar system and reached a new plateau in human advancement, however a viral threat has consumed Earth with plague and famine. With Earth in crisis, troops from the Independent Nations Coalition (INC) have been sent to the Proxima Habitus system to safeguard the work of an energy and pharmaceutical conglomerate called the Multi-Systems Group. Much like the early explorers of America, the more technologically advanced human race has asserted its dominance over an indigenous species of the planet Pluvia Silva. It is rich with life, resources, and valuable secrets so important that the Earth's survival depends on it. But when military convoys of the INC are suddenly attacked by a rival organization, the entire military is mobilized to counter the aggressions and protect their stake on the planet. Meanwhile, the indigenous Anura are caught in the middle.  Colors by Mike Stefan Lettering by Jessica Jimerson
