TERRY JAMES is author, general editor, and co-author of numerous books on Bible prophecy, hundreds of thousands of which have been sold worldwide. James is a frequent lecturer on the study of end time phenomena, and interviews often with national and international media. His website is RaptureReady.com with over 200,000 visits a day.
Chapter 1 sets the scene for the rest of the chapters giving reasons as to why we are in the last days. Other chapters touch on reasons the ‘powers that be’ will give for the disappearance of thousands of people as well as how the world has changed in relation to the increase of knowledge which enables mass manipulation as well as countries spying on one another. It is interesting that this book was written prior to Brexit and the defeat of the Democrats in America and how James predicts a worldwide pandemic prior to Covid. The book puts the pieces together in relation to end time prophesy and gives good arguments for pre-tribulation rapture. A worthy read for all Christians interested in end times.
Good explanation and biblical support for the Rapture.
I have finished reading this book and will read it again along with the supporting scripture in my Bible. Very good support for the pre-Tribulation rapture. Also great explanation of the signs of what’s going on in the world today pointing to the coming judgement of God. Amazing to read how some churches are rejecting God’s truth and teachings to accommodate Satan’s globalist agenda for mankind’s destruction.
One of the Best from Terry James Terry James is one of today's best Christian writers and Rapture Ready... Or Not? is one of his best works. The author pours through the Scriptures to teach the pre-tribulation Rapture of the Church. He teaches in a way that is easy to understand will not being too elementary. There is much wisdom in the pages for both the new believer and long-time Christian. Actually, the book would make a great witnessing tool for someone who is not a beleiver. Everyone should read this book.
I gave the book 4 stars because he devotes a brief time to the half human half Angel hybrid theory. Such thinking is more in line with Catholic and Apocryphal literature than the Bible, (see the "The Witches Hammer" and the book of Enoch). The term "Son's of God" does not always refer to angels! See Isaiah 43:6. Angels are always spoken of in a sexless way in the Bible. Otherwise the book is a good over view of Prophecy.
