Want, Need or Happiness
Jal, has been taken over by his need to spend time with Allie, although he is engaged to Paisley. Jal, spends his every waken minute thinking of how happy he is when he's with her, how he laughs, talk and smile when he's with her, but he also feels guilty for wanting this knowing he is engaged to another woman.
Allie, has guilt for wanting Jal, he is promised to another woman and she has never wanted to be that woman, who would destroy another woman life...even if the other woman was undeserving like Paisley. But, being with Jal, was everything Allie, never new she wanted or felt she deserved. How do they move forward when neither of them can stay away from the other?

I didn't love this series, I thought the h was a reverse snob and had an annoying chip on her shoulder. I understand you don't want to end up like your Mom but it's not fair to lump all rich people together just because your experience with one sucks. The H was a little bit of a bitch that let the women in his life rule him. Allie Dodd is a 21 year old hair stylist who works at a posh salon in Philadelphia (yay ! Where I live). Her Mom was a nanny for a wealthy family and she ended up falling in love with her married employer. He was married with two daughters when he got her Mom pregnant and Allie was the result. Her Mom finally left the job and the man when Allie was 16 and married her stepfather and had her little brother, TJ. Her Mom, StepDad and little brother are all deaf and sometimes Allie feels like an outsider in her own home. Jal Lindstrom is a rich successful businessman who is being pressured by his Mother to propose to his pregnant "fuck buddy". His Mother is all about status and appearances and feels Paisley is the perfect wife for him (even if he doesn't love her). Jal needed to get a set of balls because he was a total pussy and a moron at times, his Mom told him what to do and so did Paisley. And they were both horrendous bitches for what they tried to do to him.

OMG the tangled web continues with Jal and Ali in this action packed, nail biting, hot book! If you haven't read book 1, go read it and then read this one!!
At the end of book 1, Ali realizes Jal is now engaged to her half sister, Paisley. She felt something for him, but now it didn't matter....or did it? When visiting with her father and his "real daughters" were around Ali (even though she was his daughter), was treated like gum stuck on the bottom of a shoe. Paisley wanted Ali to have a job of cleaning her and her sister's rooms? How much could Ali take of this?
Jal had an event to go to and he wanted Ali with them. Given that this event benefited kids like Ali's brother, when he asked her she accepted. He could keep his hands off her for one night, right? You'll have to read this book and see how those plans worked out!
Once again, M.S. Parker had me captivated from the beginning! I can't wait to see how this series works out and if Ali and Jal will get their happy ending! Hopefully Paisley will get what she deserves, as well!

M.S. Parker you never fail to amaze me with how you have me wanting to smash my e-reader with some of the cliff hangers you write.
The Billionaire's Mistress Book 2 is in one word EPIC. I feel like I say this with every new series but this really has turned out to be my favorite. I LOVE Allie. Seriously that girl and her snarky attitude you can't help but fall in love with her the moment you read all about her life. The connection between her and Jal this book is off the charts. There were some incredibly hot and sexy moments that I was re-reading several times (then fanning myself and taking a cold shower). Those two can heat up the sheets . . . Well, the desk and other areas anyway ;)
I love the raw emotion you get from this story and how it brings you closer to the characters. And I'm telling you M.S. Parker definitely knows how to leave us hanging in the end. But hey waiting is part of the fun. And I cannot wait to see what happens next.

I absolutely love Allie, she calls it like she sees and is not afraid to tell it like she sees it either, and her spunky attitude, it isn't till the end of this installment that Allie realizes what she has really done and what she has become that knocks her back a few steps.
Then there is Jal, what can we say about him, other than he is a hot millionaire who is not afraid of going after what he wants, even if what he wants is another women even though he has just gotten engaged.
I cant wait too see what happens next with Jal and Allie, and I am wondering whos world will be most impacted. Bring on book three

OMG ...My Sister, Jal is engaged to my half sister Paisley. What a shock for Allie. She knows she has to steer clear from him as he is taken and not hers.

After getting to the end of the first book I was well shocked, I was completely thrown off guard, I honestly didn’t expect that type of ending. However with the way that MS. Parker wrote the first one you can see from her writing that she will have her readers hooked. I wasn’t sure how this book would continue because I was completely thrown, but somehow M.S. Parker delivered and from what I read this book is only going to get hotter. I just can’t seem to find the words to describe what was happening between the characters or what was developing in the story. However I have a feeling that this is only going to get better as you read each book, honestly this is by far one of the best series that M.S. Parker has written, so don’t miss out on it.

Another Hit from MS Parker!
I'm a big fan of Ms Parker's series/books. This series is no exception. Jail and All of definitely have chemistry. I don't know how they are going to handle their attraction to each other in the next book but I can't wait to find out.
Jal engaged to Paisley who is Allie's sister by her mom's affair. Small world huh? Jail is marrying Paisley, partly because pressure from his family, but Paisley also is pregnant.
Will Jal stay engaged even though he's developing feelings for Allie? Will Allie follow her conscious and stay away from Jal?

Every time I start a new series by an author I read everything from, I wait for the moment where I am disappointed or read the same thing again...I have yet to find that with M.S. Parker. Her storytelling is incredible. I love Jal & Allie. Of course, I hate Jal cause he is doing what Mommy wants instead of what he wants, but where would the drama be if Jal wasn't trying to do the right thing while fighting himself to stay away from Allie!! That cliffhanger from book 1, I am still recovering from that!!! I love the family elements as well. and Tao, omg, he's sooo interesting!! Such a fun, exciting, sexy story!!

Unable to stop himself, he finds himself inviting Allie to a fundraiser as an excuse to spend more time with her. To his surprise he manages to convince her even though she knows it's a bad idea. Things got a little hot and heavy after the event that lead them both to act on their desires. Will Allie and Jal regret the events that happen?

This picks right up where book 1 left off, Allie found out Jal got engaged to her half sister Paisley. Of course it would be her she just can't catch a break. When he asks her to accompany him to a fundraiser she's resistant at first but when he tells her what its for it turns out her brothers school benefited from it so she agree's to go. Will the fundraiser be a platonic night for them or will it lead to more? Pick up this 5 star book and read it to find out! As always great writing ny M.S. Parker!!

Definitely torn between right and wrong, Allie feels the inevitable pull to be with a insanely, handsome and funny billionaire. Can Jal do what he wants? Can he risk his future to openly escort Allie to a charity function? This volume of the Billionaire's Mistress was eye opening and yes, there's another cliffhanger!

Book 2 is even better....Allie thought she dodged a bullet with Jal. After all, he is marrying her "suitable" sibling. Jal can't get Allie out of his mind, so he visits the salon she works at. He gets her to agree to go to a charity event with him. She dresses like Cinderella at the ball. Who knew that night would change everything? What happens now? I can't wait to find out what happens next!
