Grumpy Cat has 8 million Facebook followers, her own TV movie, and now . . . a Little Golden Book! The world-famous feline stars in this hilarious storybook.

A wonderful friend of mine gave this to me as a present. We share a mutual love of Grumpy Cat (who is my spirit animal). It was very fun to read this to my daughter and change my voice when it was Grumpy Cat’s turn to speak. My daughter thought it was fun to tell me the animals but some in the book are pretty uncommon (i.e. newt & mole).
It was OK, the people behind Grumpy Cat have put out better. Essentially it is a traditional ABC book with Grumpy Cat adding an alliterative diss track.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend this for the age group it's aimed for (not inappropriate; just not actually a helpful ABCs book), but I REALLY enjoyed its sardonic sense of humor.
This was the better of the two Grumpy Cat Little Golden Books that we read. This one is an alphabet book. It seems a relatively normal alphabet primer—A is for ants, B is for butterfly—but Grumpy Cat grumpily comments on the text of the alphabet book, her comments utilizing that letter as much as possible within the sentence, clearly fully aware of the book’s intention to cover the whole of the alphabet and drag her through each illustration up till Z. This too utilizes many lines from the Grumpy Cat memes. This one got giggles too.
"M is for Mole. It's also for mood. Mine is Grumpy."
Grumpy Cat's "A is for Awful" is one of the most entertaining picture books I've read so far. The illustrations are adorable and the words are catchy. I enjoyed every moment of it and have already read it a few times. Its a fun take on the ABC that could be quite captivating and engaging for younger children.
Grumpy Cat is by far my favourite internet animal and this book was simply a must for me, I'd recommend it to any fan.
Unlike The Little Grumpy Cat that Wouldn't, this is just okay. It doesn't send up the conventions of its genre as the former does. It's pretty much just an ABC book (and a pretty run-of-the-mill one as far as illustrations) with Grumpy Cat stuck in it.
Go through the alphabet A to Z and Grumpy Cat will grump all the way through.
Probably the snarkiest ABC book you'll find out there. But I didn't feel Grumpy Cat went overboard. She just sounds like someone suffering through a commercial they wish would end. The illustrations are quite colorful and Grumpy Cat throws in extra words that start with the letter. A tongue-in-cheek humorous ABC book possibly perfect for parents who are tired of reading alphabet books to their kids.
The abc's, grumpy cat version! This book is funny at every age, although really little ones won't know who grumpy cat is. Well, here's a good way to meet him! A fair amount of words that begin with each letter are in a coherent sentence on each page...well...almost every page.
It is always a good idea to introduce alternate personalities/moods/emotions early, so that kids can label them. Teaching the alphabet happens to be the medium in this case. It is also a fun read for adults.

An okay picture book with the ABCs, and of course grumpy cat. The illustrations are good, and the picks for the ABCs are alright too. I think this book by itself is kinda meh. But I believe if read to a child, and with a funny voice for grumpy cat this would be a more enjoyable read.
