Private investigator, Michael Cutter, has no intention of falling for another pretty face, not even someone as beautiful as Peyton. But her smokin' hot body and sass can't be ignored. Will their pasts keep them from taking a chance on love? And will love be enough to heal old wounds?

Why I jumped into this series with book 5, I don't know. LOL
At first I didn't really like Peyton, I admit, but she grew on me. As did Michael. I enjoyed how they opened up to each other and let their respective guards down.
I also admit I don't care for nosy family members but I do love a big supportive family, and Peyton had that. Part of me expected more to come of the whole Dylan situation; that part seemed too significant to be left seemingly unresolved but maybe it wasn't. I was also a little surprised by the editing errors peppered throughout but that wasn't a huge deal; noticeable but it didn't stop me from enjoying the story, and I surely did.
I'm definitely gonna be going back to read this series from the beginning.
Definitely enjoyed reading Michael and Peyton's story. I continue to fall further in love with Sharon Cooper's "Jenkins Family" series. Hopefully it doesn't end with book five. I would love to read more on Jerry and Nick to see how this family rolls from a male perspective. If you've read the first four and half books in this series, delay no longer to one click "Seducing the Boss Lady". If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting the Jenkins clan, don't sleep on this series any longer! T
I appreciated Michael's concerns of repeating the patterns of his forefathers. However, no one can ever he sure will happen in a relationship. The story touch on interesting subjects, but it was as exciting or romantic as the other girls. What happened to Dylan? The end was just a little cut off. Having said that, it was a interesting story
Are you ready for another addition to the Jenkins family saga? Peyton "PJ" Jenkins and Michael Cutter will give you just what you want. This book is funny, touching and have just enough drama to make you say.. 'Yep she's a Jenkins'. I loved this book!
Peyton (PJ) is the glue holding Jenkins and Sons together. She meets Michael and sparks begin to fly. This was such a well planned and written story that I could not put it down once I began. To read about the final female cousin finding love and the struggles she goes through was very enjoyable.
Peyton is unconsciously holding on to a betrayal. Michael has a deep set fear that goes back generations. The journey these two take to heal themselves and each other is endearing and inspirational. #readingandreviewingchallenge
This is a continuation of the Jenkins Family series. Next up is Peyton(PJ). Peyton is the oldest of the granddaughter that stepped up to run the family business. She meets her match in Michael Cutter. This is a nice romance that flows well.
Title: Seducing the Boss Lady Author: Sharon C. Cooper Publisher: Amaris Publishing LLC Series: Jenkins Family Series Book 5 Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: Five Review:
"Seducing the Boss" by Sharon C. Cooper
My Rationalization:
"Meet the women of the Jenkins family - Feisty, smart, and free-spirited women who together run the family's construction company. Journey with them as they find love when they least expect." In this series, we are dealing with another Jenkins cousin Peyton.
I liked the pairing of these two Peyton and Michael whom both had a past that left each one 'vulnerable and unsure.' This was a good love story with some unexpected twist and turns that will keep your interest in turning the pages to see what was coming next for these two, Peyton and Michael. It was great seeing Peyton finally getting something she wanted out of her life and seeing Michael get the counseling he needs in order to heal and move forward. I will say the chemistry between these two were over the top!
I loved how this author was able to give up a wonderful read dealing with domestic abuse. I would have liked knowing what happened to Peyton ex, Dylan. [Just wondering?]
I enjoyed this book and was a little disappointed that I had finished what appears to be the last book in this wonderful series. Payton’s journey to finding true love was so different from her cousins and her sisters stories. It dealt with some life issues, that many people may struggle with. Such as domestic violence, divorce, single parenting, trying to start over., and dealing with generational curses. Payton’s world as she knew it ,all started to change upon Meeting Michael Cutter, a man she considered an arrogant azz,😂😂 on flight to Jamaica Little did she know that her life would never be the same.
Private Investigator Michael Cutter,a man who felt that a committed relationship was definitely not for him. He had issues from his childhood and his adult past that caused him to fight his feelings for the beautiful, spunky “Boss Lady” of Jenkins and Sons construction company. She wreaked havoc on his heart and the harder he fought it the harder, he yearned for her. These two were so sweet together ❤️
I don’t want to spoil this for future readers so I’ll simply say it’s a wonderful read. It did leave me with a few unanswered questions however I couldn’t put it down.
Their chance meeting on the plane and how each successive situation leading up to them arriving at Peyton's sister and Michael's best friend's wedding venue was so fraught with tension and missteps that one could only conclude that something was brewing between these two especially when you witnessed how hard they fought not to fall for each other! Though they had many obstacles to surmount they finally arrived at the place where they admitted that the love they shared precluded them ever being apart again! Joyfully Michael went to get his Peyton and they took their relationship to the next level. I am interested to know how the rest of the Jenkins clan are going to react to Peyton and Michael's news!!! This is going to be so good!!!!!!! Once again Mrs. Cooper you have penned a master piece. I so enjoyed reading this immensely.
This is the best of The Jenkins Family Series. I know there's one more but this finishes the Jenkins granddaughters finding love. Peyton's and Micheal's love story really brought out emotions while reading it.
The plot was full. The back stories of both Peyton and Michael were complete. All questions about each were answered. You finally understood what made Peyton tick, and what secrets were holding Michael back from committing. The attraction between them was instantaneous and steamy but not overly descriptive or graphic. There was enough suspense to keep you reading and rooting for them. You know they found their HEA.
I can't wait to read the last book, A Love So Strong, A Jenkins Family Reunion. I have a signed copy which I won in one of the author's giveaway. I can't wait! Then it's on to the Jenkins and Sons Construction Series.
I am now hooked on Series! I am now hooked on Romance and happily ever after! This is five down and one to go! I have enjoyed all five books, I Love the Jenkins family, and hope the last book is as good as all five! I can hardly wait to start on the sixth one but also hate that this is the last one in TBE series! All couples are made for each other! I Love the grandparents because they remind me so much of my grandparents who loved us so much! They were the Patriarch and Matriarch of our Family! Okay Michael and Peyton, I loved them together! This was their story but the family was always included in each story! Buy them all at the same time because you will want to finish them all together, finish one and immediately start with the next one! Series is my new go too!
I'm in love with the Jenkins Clan. This family is the best. No matter what is happening in the family whether it's positive or negative they're always supportive of one another. It's awesome. Let me just say, Finally! Peyton gets her happily ever after. I'm so happy for her because of the divorce she struggled with and witnessing all the new found loves her cousins conquered and not having the best luck with men can make you feel some type of way, but glad she took time for herself and moved on with her new found self, husband, kid and new beginnings . The boss is now definitely living large and in charge. Great Read! ReneeG 👍
WOW!!!! I could not put this one down. Peyton is by far my favorite cousin and her transformation had me holding on the edge of my seat. Her ability to face her past and finally live her life the way she wanted was commendable. I fell in love with Michael from the start and loved that like Peyton he was flawed and overcame deep fears. I hope there is another book coming to close out each of the relationships. I feel like there’s more to each story and I’ve grown to love the Jenkins granddaughters.
I have enjoyed this group of strong, opinionated, sassy, brazen, damaged and determined sistah's!!! Each of them so much in their own rights, almost shortly get on ya nerves at times, but the values they hold are second to none!!
I have literally hooped in laughter, they are sho nuff crazy!!! Toni & Jada draggin ole boy had me weak, too the sexy Christina craft, Martina fire and Payton passion...
Mahnnnn, the family of strengths love, forgiveness and accountability, is true goal's!
Michael. had so many issues coming from his father and grandfather that he thought he was like them..... Then he met PJ and all of that changed it started with the kisses as they pretended to be a couple in Jamaica but he knew. PJ had been betrayed by her ex husband by she wanted what her cousins and sister had, Michael kept her at arms length but he knew deep down that she was the one and then stupid Dylan was trying to use her to get some money out of her and that's when everything went crazy, I knew it was going to get crazy but that's the Jenkins way
Just like the others in this series, the story of Peyton and Michael is truly enjoyable! These two did not expect to encounter love in a faraway land. The journey to Jamaica was to celebrate the love of another. But love unexpectedly found them and even though they resisted and fought against the emotion and all other challenges, love overcame and they especially Michael opened up to the possibilities. Totally enjoyed this novel!
I loved the Jenkins family series! They all have distinct personalities, are family and goal oriented and looking for love. Peyton seems to be the most sensitive, covering it up by focusing on work and not getting past how her ex-husband hurt her. Michael has issues that keep him from seeking a committed relationship.
❤ I am so glad that Peyton found someone and I love this story the best Micheal was just right for her. what an excellent story Peyton work so hard for her family. It's definitely worth reading from the beginning of the series to get her story it helps you understand what she's been through.
PJ and Michael meet on an airplane and who could have imagined what was in store for them when they got off the plane. As they make their way through it, they realize that the other isn’t that bad. Life has a way of throwing a wrench in things. Was their love enough to overcome it? You’ll have to read it to see.
I loved this book because Peyton has been distraught and lonely since her divorce and I was glad when she met Michael! I wonder about the exhusband, Dylan. What is on his mind? This book/series is one that I believe everyone will enjoy! I definitely recommend this book!
I like this series! I do not want it to end. The author has amazed and entertained me for four books. "Seducing the Boss Lady" has delighted and engaged me thoroughly. The sayings, the creativity has me wanting more. Like, "Jenkins Family and Friends", " Jenkins & Sons Construction" and "Atlanta's Finest"
This was a great series I hope you expand on it allow people to see everyday situations with everyday people that we have issues we make mistakes we need ask for forgiveness and we need to learn how to move on from divorced don't bad relationships this was a good series hope you keep it up and please expound on the series for the brothers. thank you
I love Peyton's character transformation and strength. She was betrayed in her first marriage bud wasn't jaded by the experience into thinking she had to chase after who she wanted."She was a prize and he had to come to her". Love that way of thinking.
The story of Michael and Peyton is a must read love story. True love is possible the second time around. Great writing. I recommend this series to everyone who loves romance novels.
The girls are something else. I loved getting to know them and watched them fall in love. They are all stubborn but oh so loving and love unconditionally. STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU GUYS TO READ THE SERIES.
I loved it and now I need more! What happened with the life insurance did they have children? What happened with Nick? I could go on and on Sharon C Cooper Please give us more!
I enjoyed the twist and turns of P J and Michael's story to me this was the best one in the series. The person that stole it for me is Michaela. If you don't want it replaced don't the little ones hear it.
