REVIEW
Convenient Fall is the second book in the series Players of Marycliff University. This book picks up right were the first book, Summer Fling, left off, but it can be read as a standalone. However, I think you should read Summer Fling too, because my god does Jerica MacMillan know how to deliver well-written books that are just as sweet as they are hot. Check out her books!

Her lips were plump and red, begging to be kissed. He loved the way she looked, her hair wet and slicked back, her face lit up with a smile.

In Convenient Fall, we meet Megan Davidson. (Well, she was Abby's roommate in Summer Fling, so if you've read that book, you've already been introduced to her.) After Abby moves in with her boyfriend, Megan needs to find a new place to live. One of Lance's roommates, Matt, suggests she move in with him and Chris now that Lance is about to move out. So she does.

No wonder this guy had his pick of girls. With that panty-dropping smile, and that voice, girls probably stripped down on the spot for him.

Chris Watkins (one of Lance's roommates in Summer Fling) has wanted Megan since he first met her earlier that summer, but since she now is his roommate, Matt makes it clear that she is off-limits. Chris doesn't do relationships and sleeping with Megan once would only make the fact that they are roommates really awkward. So Chris tries to stay away from Megan. He really does. But the attraction and chemistry between them are too much.

So, homework and a date. He just wanted to spend time with her, be able to touch her. He was done denying himself what he’d been craving for so long now.

That look on his face when he saw her topless was her favorite thing. His hazel eyes were darkened with desire. She’d put that look there. It made her feel wanton, sexy, powerful.

Megan was one of my favorite characters in Summer Fling. What made me like her so much was that she was funny and an important person for Abby. I need a friend like her. In this book, she still is funny and important to Abby (even though they don't see each other as often as when they lived together). But we also get to see that she's smart and… well, kind of independent because of the troubles she has with her family. I liked that she didn't let her family boss her around. You go girl!

"You look so fucking sexy sprawled on my bed with your hair a mess."

I also liked Chris. He was sexy, but he could be super sweet too. And he could get jealous, but not annoyingly so. He changed during the book, and that was nice to see. I love books with guys that are kind of players and then change a little. It might be kind of cheesy and cliche-y (let's just pretend that's a word), but I love those books all the same. Well, the change need to be realistic, and that was the case with this book. He didn't change in an extremely drastic way and the change (and the relationship between Chris and Megan) progressed in a realistic pace.

”Are you done studying?”
She nodded. ”Yeah. You’re too distracting.”
He couldn’t suppress a triumphant grin. ”Good.”

I loved to see Abby and Lance again. They're the cutest. Perfect for each other.

And Matt… Poor Matt. Always the third wheel… I liked him, and his friendship with Megan was cute. They helped each other and always had each other's backs.

The friendships in the book were all wonderful. Between Abby and Megan. Between Lance, Matt, and Chris. Between the whole group. They loved to tease each other, but they were also caring.

Megan’s legs immediately went around his waist, her ankles hooking behind his back. He loved when she did that, loved how it made him feel wanted, welcomed, home.

Now it's time to talk about le sex. Just like in Jerica MacMillan's other books, the sex scenes are hot and sweet at the same time. And instead of just being there to fill out the pages, they brought the story forward.

”Chris, please.”
He released her nipple from his mouth and brought his head up to look in her face. ”Please what?”
She squirmed. ”Please fuck me. Now.”
”Soon.”

I really enjoyed reading this book because of Jerica MacMillan's writing style and her way of always mixing sweet and tender scenes with steamier sex scenes.

He enjoyed the feeling of her body against his, the way she snuggled into him, the simple pleasure of just holding her.

Do I recommend this book? Yes.
Would I ever re-read this book? Yes.
Am I going to read future books by this author? Yes!

I am absolutely loving the Players of Marycliff University Series! Confession...I’m not a sports enthusiast. Watch football? Ugh. Baseball? Boring. Calm down, everyone. Put away the torches and pitchforks. Because I do have a weakness for campus sports romance novels. Jerica MacMillan’s New Adult series caught my attention and I was hooked. The books are standalone, but since Convenient Fall picks up the previous story I recommend that you first read Summer Fling. You’ll love it! The series centers around three hot players on the Marycliff football team who all happen to be roommates; Lance, Chris, and Matt. When I say these guys are players, I mean these guys are “players”. Football jocks of the tall, ripped, and gorgeous variety. Jersey chasers hover around, hoping to catch their attention as well as a piece of action. All three have thus far taken advantage of the smorgasbord of lovelies, never indulging in the same treat more than twice. That is until the perfect girl comes along. Oh, how I love when the perfect girl comes along! Especially when she couldn't give two shakes about some jock. It's so much fun watching these guys trip all over themselves when the tables are turned.

When last we saw Megan, she and roommate Abby were “breaking up”. For a good reason. Abby and Lance are moving in together. (I’m telling you...read Summer Fling!). Since Chris and Matt are minus one roomie, the logical solution is for Megan to move in and take Lance’s place, right? Riiiight. Megan is comfortable around the guys. In fact, when she met them at their annual 4th of July house party, she and Chris engaged in more than a little flirting. Megan figures that was all routine for Chris, and living in the same house shouldn't be a problem. Cue the problem. These two are so attracted to each other they emit sparks when in the same room. However, they both keep their distance, not wanting to do anything stupid. For about a week. Ha! But I love that she can’t resist him when he sincerely makes his case that they give it a go. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that Megan is not the party girl I first thought her to be. She’s quite a dedicated and accomplished artist. Which is a sore subject for her strict, ultra-conservative parents who don’t approve of her major. Which may or may not cause some trouble down the road. Just sayin’. I like that she stood up to them and pursued her dream. I like that she has a level head, even where Chris is concerned.

Their relationship was born of attraction and proximity. Chris’s track record with women didn’t inspire thoughts of rings and wedding bells. Or even anything approaching a significant commitment. She knew there would be an end date. And she hoped like hell that she could keep her heart out of it as much as possible.

Chris, on the other hand, has quite lost his head over Megan. All rational thought has flown the coop because each time he lays eyes on her, it’s like all the oxygen has been sucked out of the room. He finds himself experiencing strange emotions. Like jealousy! Chris has never felt this way about a girl. Ever. He can’t get enough of Megan. She’s not just beautiful, adorable, and sexy, she’s fun to be around. And damn if she isn’t hot as hell when she’s getting all bossy while tutoring him. I fell in love with Chris. Despite his “player” reputation, he is loyal to the depth of his soul. Not an easy task, what with all the girls begging for his attention and...stuff. If you know what I mean. But what I love most about Chris is his intensity. He’s fallen hard for Megan and will do whatever it takes to prove it to her. Add to that the chemistry these two have, not to mention the between the sheets action, and the pages burst into flames.

Convenient Fall is another beautifully written, swoon-worthy novel from Ms. MacMillan. Her stories hit me in the emotional gut every time and I love it! This series is full of great dialogue, humor, sizzling chemistry, and just the perfect amount of angst. You might think about it for a minute, but you won’t get close to throwing your Kindle against the wall. In other words, it's a perfectly crafted campus sports romance. Next up is Matt’s story and I can’t wait!

I truly enjoyed reading the Players of Marycliff University series. This book can be read as a standalone or along with Book 1, Summer Fling, which rolls right into Convenient Fall. I really love to stay in a written world longer than one book, so I read them back to back and would personally recommend them that way. It's nice to get to know the characters a little more through the different point of views. We learn about Megan and Chris in Summer Fling through the eyes and perceptions of Abby and Lance which makes it so easy to roll right into Convenient Fall where we pick up right where we left off.

Megan moves into Chris and Matt's apartment after Lance moves out. She is an artist, party girl, outgoing and energetic. She loves to go out to the best parties on the weekends and live it up! She's not one to get attached to a guy necessarily and has no problems with occasional hook-ups. Yet, she is also responsible, in that she makes sure to get good grades and also tutors others. She comes from and ultra-conservative and religious family that disapproves of pretty much every life choice she has made. That being said, they do not financially or emotionally support her in any way, because she will not conform to their wishes to change her major, attend church regularly, or switch to a different college...just to name a few. They would freak out if they knew she moved in with two men.

Chris is a well-built, super hot football player and everything all the ladies want! Not only is he a player on the football field, but he also makes his rounds to the weekend parties, hooking up with whatever "Jersey Chaser" is looking for his attention. He is notorious for it. A quick hook-up and moving on. He has never really had a relationship... they never last long enough.

When Megan moves into the apartment Chris's world is rocked. He has always been attracted to her, but now that she's always here under his watchful eye, he has a burning attraction to her that he can't shake. She's different somehow. Both of them know that getting involved with each other would be a huge issue since they live together were something to go wrong. But can they fight this attraction that only grows? How far could it really go anyway?

Jerica MacMillan really knows how to take you back (if you're my age and need taking back, lol) to how it felt to be young and in love. You know, those relationships that you aren't sure about?.. Whether the guy likes you the same way, or if you are over-thinking things and getting in over your head? Should you be feeling what you are? Am I really any different than any other girl? Surely not. Oh, and what about that well-known notorious reputation?..

In this sweet novel we see Megan and Chris both in uncharted territory. Megan is not one to allow herself to feel vulnerable. She struggles with her self-doubt, and the "Jersey Chasers" give her good reason. Chris has never really navigated a relationship and he makes plenty of mistakes on his own. Can they make things work? They have a lot to learn!

I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did! It's angsty and heartwarming and sexy all rolled together! My favorite!

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Having already met Megan, Chris, and even Matt in "Summer Fling", the first book in the Players of Marycliff University series, I was ready to jump right back in and find out about these three new “roomies”. Jerica has impressed me with her writing of steamy New Adult reads and has me hanging on for more of her amazing stories and intriguing characters. Jerica brings us back into this world that has us playing chicken with some drunken college students, cheering on the sidelines for some football playing hotties, getting down and dirty with one of the sexy roomies while leaving us with a faint taste of beer in our mouths and a book hangover. What more could you ask from a book about college love? Megan and Chris take us to the depths of mystifying behavior and undeniable attraction that soon boils over and burns us all.

Megan Davidson finds herself suddenly rubbing elbows and being roomies with two hunky football players since her roommate Abby moved out with her boyfriend Lance. Things soon become complicated and heated between the three of them leaving her feeling awkward, sexually frustrated, and completely confused. That is until desire ignites, feelings explode, and their relationship will never be the same again. Megan is full of spunk, passion, and artistic creation that her ultra conservative family does not appreciate. In this story we see her bravery and growth when she shows her vivid colors to the world and follows her own path which is not always easy but is admirable.

Chris Watkins is your typical “player” and I am not just talking about football. You never see him with the same girl twice and since the Fourth of July party all he can think about is spending time “playing” with Megan, if only she wasn't a roommate. Can he resist or are his player days over? Can he prove to Megan that he is out of the game and doesn't want another “jersey chaser”? I fell for this sexy jock when I met him in Summer Fling and couldn't wait to see him give up player status and get down and dirty with Megan while losing his heart to her. He is all kinds of hot with those muscled good looks and broody attitude... I couldn't help but take a harder tumble for this hot roomie myself.

Jerica has me hooked on this group of university friends who are muddling their way through school, relationships, and finding themselves. She brings us the confusing and exhilarating feelings of love found while young people are learning how to spread their wings and figure out who they are and what they want in life. Convenient Fall is full of angst, sparks, friendships, and romance that will leave you craving more time with the Marycliff University crowd. I highly recommend for lovers of New Adult and love found amidst textbooks and keg parties.

I originally read this book on Wattpad and absolutely loved it. Pretty much anything by Jerica MacMillan I've ended up falling in love with. Strong women, sexy men, and relationships that make me incredibly jealous make for a great story! The writing and way she introduces the characters make it even better. Having read the first Players of Marycliff University story, I knew the characters, Megan and Chris, and already loved and shipped them haha but it was so nice to finally read their story. I'm so excited for the next one!!

This story was tedious. The third person felt passive, and that's never good. It was very much tell and not show. There was no build up to their relationship. Just, bam! He didn't know he was in love with her until she said it and then he was like...oh. is this love? I love you too! Eyeroll. Heroine was very insecure, he was showing her how serious he was the whole book. Lots of random, useless details and side events that seem to only pop out of nowhere when needed to make the story move forward.

Definitely overrated from arc readers.

WOW! You can't help but love this college series. This book has great friends, brotherly love, flirting and emotions that keeps you turning the page for more. Megan and Chris are adorable, but their road to love has a few roadblocks along the way that has you feeling it all. Convenient Fall is a fun, sexy read! Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Enjoyed a lot!!

I really enjoyed this story....roomies with benefits is always fun to read but this is just written so well. Chris was a good guy and I liked how he went for what he wanted. Megan was a sassy little thing and I want to be her. This is steamy amd I liked how realistic it was...football player struggling to figure out future, family issues, insecurities raised. Overall a really good story.

Convenient Fall (Players of Marycliff University Book 2)
By: Jerica MacMillan
5 out of 5 stars

The story Convenient Fall (Players of Marycliff University Book 2) by Jerica MacMillan is a new adult/sports/romance book. What an amazing second book in the Players of Marycliff University series. I have already read three of the books in this series and am hooked. This story pulled me in and I didn’t want to put it down until I was done. The author has done an amazing job of writing a book and series with wonderful story lines and creating characters that are unforgettable. Megan Davidson and Chris Watkins are the main characters in this book. From the first time they met there was something there between them. That attraction is only getting stronger. That they are now roommates only complicates the issue. Even though they try to resist Megan and Chris can’t deny how they feel. They become lovers and the chemistry between them is red hot. The one thing I love most about this book is the characters. Megan is an independent woman. She has always provided for herself and anything she does is on her own. She also helps others by tutoring them. Chris is the ultimate player. He doesn’t do cuddling, dates, or relationships, that is until he meets Megan. He now finds himself in unchartered waters and having to learn as he goes. This book is filled with plenty of flirting, bantering back and forth between the characters, and drama. Chris and Megan also have some amazing friends who are there for them to hang out with and provide advice when it is needed. I was so happy they were part of the story. Megan is a character that I can really empathize with. She has fears and doubts that she is trying to overcome both in her relationship with Chris and the life she is trying to carve out for herself. What does the future hold for this couple? With the connection that these two have there should be nothing that stands in the way of their happiness, right? Read this book to find out if Megan and Chris get their happy ending. This story does have adult situations which include some very steamy love scenes. It would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.

Convenient Fall (Players of Marycliff University Book 2) by Jerica MacMillian is the second book in her Players of Marycliff University. This book can be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend you read this series in order to get the full effect of this series. This is a sports romance story that is hot, steamy and will keep you engaged until the end. The one thing that I enjoyed about this author is how she popped previous book characters. I love when you get to see what happens to previous characters we read about. In this story, this is the story of Megan and Chris. Find out what happens when Megan finds herself in a situation where she has not choice but to move in with two football players. She thinks that romance with a roommate is a bad idea but will she change her mind? The problem is that they have a connection, will they act on it? I enjoyed Megan's character. She has struggles with fear and self doubt. She is independent and knows what she wants. But will she overcome those struggles in order to have her HEA? Chris has been a player but will Megan change him? He is the type of guy who doesn't do relationships, love and leave them, then he meets Megan. They try so hard to fight their chemistry between the two of them. You need to read this book to find if they stop fighting their attraction. You will fall in love with these two. They are sweet and the romance is just as sweet. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what fate has in store for Megan and Chris.

Convenient Fall is book 2 in the Players of Marycliff University series by Jerica MacMillan and can be read as a standalone.

Having already read a couple of the books in this series, I was keen to read Convenient Fall, especially after first meeting Megan and Chris in book 1, Summer Fling. I loved learning more about them and seeing their own journey to HEA. It felt like getting to know two friends better after not hearing from them for a while. I also loved how it was Chris who fell hard for Megan and did all he could to show her that he was serious. Too many books show the female character being the one falling for the guy first. I always enjoy books that are different and go against the expected. I couldn't put this book down and would've happily carried on reading had it being twice the length or longer. It was one of those books that you didn't want to end.

So far, I've enjoyed this series and I can't wait to read more. Jerica MacMillan writes in such a way that you feel like you personally know her characters and are there with them every step of the way. She keeps you hooked and leaves you wanting more. Whilst I wish I'd discovered this series sooner, I'm also excited to know that there's several more books already available to download and I can binge on them if I'm unable to pace myself lol. I love college romances and I love sports romances, so this series is perfect for me. I will also definitely be looking into other books/series by Jerica MacMillan as I know I'm guaranteed to enjoy anything she writes.

A 5 star read for Convenient Fall, Players of Marycliff University Book 2 by Jerica MacMillan. This is the second book in the series and I was so excited to read this book. The first book left off with Abby and Lance moving in together and then Megan taking over Lance’s room at the house and becoming roommates with Matt and Chris. There was always been chemistry between Megan and Chris from the moment they met. Chris has wanted Megan since he first saw her. He thinks it would be so easy especially now with her being in the same house. He keeps getting the warning to stay away from Matt, he thinks it will ruin the dynamics of the house. Once Chris has her, he knows that he needs to do whatever he can to keep her. He isn't the guy that is looking for a real relationship but with Megan that is exactly what he wants.
Megan comes from a very strict family. They don't support the career path she is taking so there is no way that they would approve of her living situation. When she finds herself falling head over heels for Chris, she feels like it is too good to be true and it is only a matter of time before he end it.
Can they both get what they want and deserve?
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down once I started it. I can not wait to read book 3, Matt’s book!!

Convenient Fall by Jerica MacMillan is book 2 of the "Players of Marycliff University Series"

I read one of the other books in the series previously and now after reading book this one, I really need to read more of this series.

The author knows how and what to write to keep you hooked. She doesn't keep you guessing and then at the last minute let it all out.

This books main characters were all likable. The plot was easy to understand. Abby and Megan were roommates. Lance, Chris and Matt were roommates. When Abby and Lance ended up getting a place together, that left Matt and Chris looking for a roommate and Megan needing to find a new place to live.

Chris and Megan have flirted a lot over the summer but Chris is a football player and has jersey chasers always right there waiting for him to give them a shot. He was a one night only type of a guy.

Chris has been dying to get a taste of Megan but Matt warns him to stay away because he knows the way Chris is and doesn't want to have to find yet another roommate when Chris screws Megan over.
One night Chris has just had enough and can no longer ignore his desire for Megan especially since she feels the same.

Will this ruin everything? How will Abby act towards Chris when he breaks Megan's heart? Will Lance be caught in the middle?

Amazing book!!! Cannot wait for more!!!

Convenient Fall by Jerica MacMillan is the second in the Players of Marycliffe University Series. Starting right as the first ended this book follows Chris and Megan, friends and roommates of those in book one and, as of now, each other.

With Abby moving in with her boyfriend Lance, Megan is left in the position of either needing to find a new roommate or finding a new place to stay. When she is offered Lance's old room it seems like too good of an opportunity to pass up. And if she had a slight crush on one of her new room mates? She can handle that!

Chris doesn't mind living with a woman. With Lance moving out and Megan needing a place to live it makes sense to kill two birds with one stone. So why if he can't stop thinking about her? So what if he wants no one to go near her? He can handle it!

When the chemistry between them gets to be too much to ignore Chris and Megan decide to throw caution to the wind and give their feelings a chance. Megan knows Chris doesn't do serious or long term, and she is sure she can keep her feelings out of it. Chris just knows he can't stay away from her.

A great follow up to the first book. I loved that we had already been introduced to the characters, and that you got to read more about the previous characters as well. Just as well written, and funnier than the first, I enjoyed this and cannot wait for the rest of the series.

Convenient Fall
By Jerica MacMillan
5 stars

This is the second book in the Players of Marycliff University and after finishing the first book I was super excited to read this book. This series is shaping up to brilliant! I am so in love with these characters! I really liked Megan from the first book so couldn’t wait to see what happened when she moved in with Chris and Matt. There was clearly some tension between Megan and Chris brewing in the first book so I was looking forward to seeing how this progressed now they were roommates.
Megan was such a great, feisty character. I really liked her and connected with her easily. I really felt for her with how her family treated her but loved that she was standing by what she believed was right for her.
Chris was so lovely! I’m not sure I was expecting him to be like he was. I loved his alpha male side but also there was so much more to his character than the typical college athlete! He knew what he wanted to achieve but just needed a little help along the way. I loved the relationship he had with his family and friends.
I have to say I am completely in love with this authors writing style. From the very first word until the last one I am completely hooked into her stories. They are so well written, engaging and have really likeable characters. I can’t wait to read more from this series!

Convenient Fall is book two in The Players of Marycliff Universty series by Jerica MacMillan. This book was the ultimate escape for me. I was not aware of one thing going on around me, from start to finish. Jareica MacMillan has woven a tale that is totally bewitching, totally mesmirising, and totally perfect.

I was really looking forward to getting to know Meghan and Chris and their story was such an incredible rush to read. It was worth the sleepless night and so worth the time. Chris was this huge personality, but a little more broodier and kept things closer to his chest than Lance. He was the one that stood back and observed rather than go tearing in like a bull at a gate. He liked to have a good time, but is not looking for a relationship. He wants Megan after their first meeting, and when she moves in with him and his friend Matt, it is like christmas came early. Sounds perfect right? Nothing is ever easy for the players, and again, Jerica MacMillan has these men and women doing one heck of a dance that is seriously off the charts entertaining.

I enjoyed lots of laughter and a few tears. Nail biting was becoming a common habit and so was lecturing these characters when I believed they needed a good ol fashioned whoopin. Convenient Fall was a fitting continuation of the lives and loves of the Players of Marycliff University. Bring on number three. 5 stars

Convenient Fall – Players of Marycliff University Book 2 by Jerica MacMillan

The Marycliff University is a 6 book series – Book 1 is called Summer Fling and we get to meet Lance and Abby and see their relationship develop. Book 2 is Megan and Chris’s story and can be read as a standalone.

Chris is a football player for MU and a “player” in general. He’s the typical BMOC who lives for the one night stand. He’s only at college to play ball and has no expectations of graduating. Megan is an art major who studies hard and tutors others. She has a plan for her life and a passion for her art. Chris and Megan have previously met as their respective roommates are in a relationship - now THEY are roommates.

This is an enjoyable story which has a beginning, a middle and an end. I wasn’t left with the feeling that the author was forcing me to read the next in the series. The characters are well developed and even though there was a little angst and a little misunderstanding along the way, I was able to continue to like both characters.

I look forward to reading Matt’s story next and I wonder who the final three stories will be about. I absolutely recommend this book and this series. I hope we get to see more of Megan’s art in the future.

What started out as roommates to hook ups turned into something so much more. Neither are what they pretend to be. Megan is just trying to finally live the life she wants not what her parents demand of her. And Chris is trying to deal with not being scouted by the NFL. Both turn to each other and the sparks fly. HOT!! But can they keep things light and easy like they say or will they figure out how to give each other more?

This is book 2 in the series but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading book one, just because it was goooood, but it doesn't have to be read first. Megan is a firecracker and holds no punches she's focused on school and won't let anything stop her from pursuing her art. Chris is the typical football player but his protective side comes out even when he's in I don't care mode. Being roommates definitely has its advantages. I love how they try to stay just convenient to each other and fail miserably. There were not games, which I loved from this college series.

Ok, off to read book 3. Yea I'm kinda addicted to the series now.

Convenient Fall by Jerica MacMillan is the second book in the Players of Marycliff University Series and it's amazing! This series just keeps getting better and better! An amazing 5 star read!

Megan is scrambling to find a new place after her friend Abby decides to move in with her boyfriend, Lance. Classes start in just a week, a spot opens up in Lance's old house, and it's looking to be her best bet. So Megan moves in with Matt and Chris, who just happen to be out of this world sexy and football players. What's the worst thing that could happen?

Chris knows this is his last season playing football. He always wanted to go pro, but hasn't been scouted yet. He doesn't know what to do now, and is trying apart his life in the process. Chris can't help but notice Megan and the sparks that seem to be going off between them. What could possibly go wrong with these two roommates having some off the charts chemistry and attraction towards each other?

If you love this series and are a fan of college sports romance, then this is for you!

Convenient Falls by Jerica MacMillan is the second book in the Marycliff University series. This time we get to hear the adventures of Megan and Chris. I liked both characters in the first book but I didn't feel like I knew them so I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed their story. Megan was a strong women but in the inside there was so much struggle and self doubt. It was fun to watch her grow and go after the things her heart desired.
Chris was kinda the same, outside he seemed like a cool, confident and extremely sexy football player but inside he had struggles of his own. As they grew as a couple and friends it was fun to watch them lean and support each other.
As much as I liked Megan and Chris I definitely had a favourite in this book and that was Matt (the third wheel) so when I found out the third book will be his book I became extremely excited to continue on this journey and read book 3....but make sure you do it right and read Convenient Falls first you won't regret it.

This is the second book in the Players of Marycliff University. I was already introduced to Megan and Chris even Matt from the first book in this series Summer Fling, and what a book that was. So I couldn't wait to start this one. This story follows on from the first one it takes a look at Megan and Chris who have just become roommates. The sexual tension between these two is through the roof as they flirted with each other over the summer. Both Chris and Megan are a little hesitant due to their living arrangements., but one night that all changes. Can these two make a real thing of what is happening or will their reputations destroy what they could have before they get to that point? This is a must read I loved every part of this book I was laughing and crying with these characters. Jerica MacMillan has written this book where you actually get submerged within the story as if you're feeling everything Megan and Chris are feeling. If I could give this a 10/10 I would. I can't wait to read the next one in the series. Happy reading.

Convenient Fall (Players of Maycliff University Book #3)
By Jerica MacMillan
5 stars

Convenient Fall by Jerica MacMillan is a five star read and where can I enroll in this college because all the characters in this series are amazingly believable and also very likeable. The story of Megan Davidson and Chris Watkins is no different.
So what happens when you fall for your roommate? What happens when that roommate is a player on and off the field? Do you take a chance?
Megan is an artist and very independent. She has always taken care of herself and is used to doing thing on her own. Chris is the player, no dates, no relationships and no repeat girls, that until he meets Megan and is totally thrown for a loop. The attraction between the two is smoking hot, but the fact that they are roommates, holds them back.
So what happens when the both of them put caution to the wind and give in?
I seriously love this series, the characters are so well written, and it has flirting, romance and strong female characters with men who fall in love with them.

Convenient Fall by Jerica MacMillan is a five star novel. This is also the second novel in the Players of Marycliff University series. Megan got introduced in the first novel as Abby’s roommate and best friend. Chris was also introduced being Lance’s roommate. Although it isn’t necessary to read the series as a whole, I would highly recommend it as a way to help see where all the pieces fit. Trust is a hard issue that a lot of couples face. How can we know when we can trust someone so completely that we can give them all of ourselves without fear of getting hurt? In order to love someone completely, do you have to let go of that fear since nothing in life is guaranteed? I think these are the main issues brought up in this book. Because of Chris’ past, Megan has a difficult time seeing how serious he is about her and almost loses the relationship because of her blindness to how much he cares. This book is a way to open our eyes to see into someone else’s relationship and hopefully be able to then look into our relationships without the blinders on.

A young lovers romance that will warm your heart!

Megan moved in with Chris and Matt after her roommate Abby moved in with her boyfriend Lance (Summer Fling), taking Lance's old room ... that works out perfect ... right? Yeah ... perfect ... until Chris can't take his eyes off her and wants her in his bed. Chris is the jock with a hord of football groupies after him and Megan is the nerdy artist who just wants to prove to her family that she can make it on her own.

Megan and Chris make such a cute couple and once Chris gets her in his sights, he doesn't see anyone else. I loved that she was confident in herself and didn't pretend she wasn't interested in Chris. Megan is just unsure with what their relationship is exactly because she knows he doesn't do relationships. And WOW ... Ms MacMillan sure knows how to write a steamy scene! This is a great series so far and I can't wait for Matt's book!

I graciously received a copy courtesy of the author in exchange for a honest review.

Convenient fall by Jerica MacMillan is the second book in the players of Mary cliff university series. This is a college romance series and this book in particular is about finding out who you are despite of what others expect of you. Megan is an art major who has to move in with Chris and Matt now that her best friend and roommate has moved in with her boyfriend. Chris was grateful that they found someone else to share the rent with them so quickly, but he has had the hots for Megan since they were introduced months ago, and now she is in his house and he can’t do anything about his attraction to her but try to stay away. Once Chris shows Megan that he is into her she reciprocates but with the expectation that he will get bored of her eventually as he has never been with the same girl twice, but he surprises her at every turn.
I loved this book! I am now a certified fan of Jerica Macmillan, I cannot wait to read the next book!

Book 2 in the Players of Marycliff University, Convenient Fall, written by Jerica MacMillan was a great read. Each of the books in the series can be read as a stand alone however all the books have repeat characters in them. Books 1 and 2 are mainly Abby, Lance, Megan, Chris and Matt. Abby and Megan were roommate’s and the rest you will have to read to figure out.
I love Chris and Megan’s confusing yet obvious relationship. No matter how much they both deny it and fight it. They each have their own issues and conflicts not to mention personal reservations about being in a relationship when neither one of them have had a serious bf/gf before. The jealousy, arguments and make ups are the best parts of this story. Megan is a great characters and I look forward to seeing her in future books when the time comes. Chris is interesting but surprisingly perfect even though he has his flaws. I cant wait to read the rest of the Players of Marycliff University series.

Convenient Fall is the second book in the Players of Marycliff University series by Jerica MacMillian and she picked up with a great steamy story where she left off in book one, but this is Chris and Megan's story and wow what a story it is.

I love Chris and his sarcastic quips and comments, but I think a lot of that is a defense and a way to deflect from what is really bothering him which is his football career being over and not knowing what to do what next. Megan really helps him figure out and help him get to the next step in his life. She is as supportive of him as he is of her painting and they just work well together in so many ways.

Megan's family isn't the greatest, but her Dad really sucks. I wanted to just hug and support her where her family won't. I just don't understand how a parent can't love and support their child no matter what.

I loved this book and series. I'm already almost done with the third book and planning the rest of the series.

When I read the first book in the series I knew I wanted to read about Abby’s friend Megan. I was intrigued about her.

I felt quite sorry for Chris because when you are young you have an idea in your head what you want to do with your life. Given it everything you had and have no plan B. He was in self destruct mode, so it is good that he met Megan.

Women overreact, a lot! We seem to put two and two together and make five. In the book, for about ten percent of it, I was all edgy and annoyed! There were overreaction and parents that are unsupportive, rude and judgmental. It is a wonder that Megan turned out like she did.

Overall, I did really enjoy this book. I am enjoying this series a lot. I am glad that there are a few books! I liked that the characters helped each other to grow. It was sweet.

I loved this book! The player has met his match. Megan speaks her mind but will clam up and retreat when her heart is threatened. Chris is up for the challenge. It's all fun and games until his heart gets involved.

Megan and Chris go from acquaintances to roomies to more. Their harmless summer flirting didn't progress, but now that they are living together, it's impossible for them to deny their attraction. Matt tries to be the voice of reason, but he's no match for the chemistry between Megan and Chris.

Will their relationship survive a jealous jersey chaser or her conservative and religious parents? I guess you'll have to read it to find out. Trust me…you'll enjoy the sexy and sweet Marycliff men!
