This was another great installment in the Slater brothers series. "Keela" is a novella that takes place during Keela and Alec's move into their new home. Keela is having second thoughts about how fast their relationship is going, and she is wondering if she should slow things way down. She also is having nightmares over some traumatic things that happened to her in the last book. The unfortunate part is she hasn't shared any of her concerns with Alec. She is scared that if she does, he will be upset with her. What will happen when Alec finds out? Will he walk away, or will he understand and still love Keela and want to work things out with her.
I enjoyed getting more time with all of the Slater bro's and their ladies. The dynamic between them all is just awesome, and how they joke around with each other never fails to put a smile on my face. I am once again glad that I chose to continue on with this series. At the end of this novella there is a cliffy, but this time I didn't mind it because I can immediately jump right into Kane's book and find out what all is going on! I know one thing for sure...there is never a dull moment in the life of the Slater men...I can't wait to dive right in for more!!!

L.A. Casey seriously. This woman is GENIUS .. I can't even tell you the amounts of times I've re-read these books! It's PURE AGONY waiting for them to get released. My favourite brother is Dominic but the rest including Alec share a place in my ♥. I loved this novella because all of the characters were incorporated. I disliked that CLIFFHANGER .. WHY OH WHY!? I recommend this entire series .. it truly is PERFECTION.

Luv these brother there super hot
I just luvd this I can't believe that so much drama happened it was great getting more of Keela an Alec I just luv him these to r just as hot together as the last book they can't get the hands of each other it's so sexy but Keela had my heart broken I feel so sorry for her she is still dealin with the shit th at happened to her an hidin it from Alec she is actually hidin a lot of her feelin in this book an I just want hug an shout at her at the same time
I couldn't believe what happened in the last 2 chapters it was super crazy but it made this story just brilliant I can't wait to read like I 've said in my other reviews for this series its super addictive an just great I d highly recommend it xxx

Normally, I like to expand and give my own brief summary aside from the plot synopsis, but there isn’t really anything that isn’t stated in the book info that I should comment on.
Basically, Keela takes place right after Alec left off, with our lovely couple newly engaged and moving into a house together. Yay!
Keela is still traumatized from the previous horrific events that had taken place and feels as though her and Alec’s relationship is escalating much faster than she’d like it to be. She’d like to be not co-dependent on Alec and make something of herself first. Establish and find herself before taking the walk down the aisle and popping out babies. Not being a mooch and rely off of her uber sexy fiancé to take care of her. Keela wants to be an independently stable woman who can support herself with or without a man.
Will her hesitancy and uncertainty pave the way towards strengthening her and Alec's bond? Or will will it lead to heartbreak and devastation?...
Not to mention!! When trouble lurks it’s away with shady business propositions and the rest of the Slater guys and gals joining in the mix… there’s going to be one explosive formula of chaos, laughs, tears, fights, HOT SEX (*yeah!*), and pregnancy scares!!

***4 "The Packing Games!!!!" stars***
For once again, i laughed so much with these Slater brothers and their women...
They are an awesome bunch and I'm enjoying reading their adventures!!!!
As the title is saying this book was by Keela's POV!!!
It's been thirteen months since "Alec" finished and Keela is still having nightmares of this past incident... At the same time, she and Alec are moving out of her tiny apartment to a much bigger house near to the brothers...
But Keela is suffocating since she is thinking that the things between her and Alec are moving too fast, even though she is so in love with him... And in compination with these damn nightmares, the things inside her head are getting ugly...
This novel is about a day, moving day and there are happening so many things in there...
My head still spinning for all those things and i can't wait for Kane and Aideen's book!!!

Bronagh laughed and devilishly smirked. “That's exactly what this will be, big brother.”

Ok it is official, the novellas in this series is so much better than the novels itself. Keela was so hilarious, adorable and appealing. My favorite part is definitely Dominic’s Man Bible. It’s the best thing ever. And I laughed so hard during “the bet”. So yep, it was a fun read. But OMG THE CLIFFHANGER!! There are so many unanswered questions. Why is Ryder and Branna being cold with each other? Who is pregnant? What is happening with Kane? *cries*

I hate cliffhangers! Loved this one. Each book is funnier than the last and they all have that touch of action to them. But the ending...oh my god...I am starting the next one now!!!

Sorry don't hate me. I think I liked the short story.
It's after what happened in Alec's book and after all the drama and gun involved.
It's sweet, sexy, funny and hella HOT with mixed emotions. So many feelings shed into this book. I'm quite enjoyed it. Uhm... there is a sneak peek about what happened between Kane and Aideen.

KEELA is KEELAlicious that's for sure!
This book is indeed hot - that, added to the fact that this is mega hilarious and will make you excited for the next book, is a TRIPPLE THREAT!!!
I'm already putting it all out there by saying that I really like Keela more than Bronagh. ( Sorry, Bronagh.. you were just too violent. I know, I know you're trying to get better, but that doesn't change that I like Keela more, sorry hon! ).
I'll try really hard not to put spoilers. I swear I will. :)
In Alec, Keela is an independent young woman who's heart has been bruised by an ass who married her cousin. She opens up to Alec and his family and becomes a part of the gang. They experience some hardships, but they all get through it. Here in her own book, her thoughts become jumbled. You'll see some residual effects from what happened to her in ALEC. If you ask me, it's bound to happen. She's just human. What I love about her is that she endures it. She could have bolted.. just get up and leave.. but no. She held on and she's very clear that she loves Alec. She's amazing because she's willing to go through all that just for Alec. I'm happy that she has such a hilarious.. I mean HELPFUL support system. :) The girls sure did their part in helping Keela out. I'm so glad that they're there to make our girl see the light. ;p
The boys are also still oh so very hot and man oh man.. FRIGGIN HILARIOUS!!! I'm just quite disappointed that Alec didn't do the... thing that he was supposed to do if... EERRRR THE NO SPOILER RULE IS KILLING MEEEEE. hahahaha
Now to add a bit of mystery to this review, I just have to say that I SUPPORT KEELA'S DECISION. To be able to make such an important, even life-altering decision - I think it's a measure of how well her character has grown. :) Oh, and I'm not at all surprised by Alec's reaction to THAT decision. He's a very, very and I MEAN VERY understanding guy when it comes to Keela. I love how s

I hope that the females that these boys find are all like Bronagh and Keela. I absolutely love these two woman and you get to see them both at their best in this book. Keela and Alex have made plans to move and a new home and start living their lives together but there is always some bumps in the road when it comes to the Slater brothers.
While everyone is packing and trying to win a bet, Keela reveals some fears that she has to the women. What is she going to do with the feelings she’s been having? After talking with the women, especially Bronagh, she has a lot to think about. Too bad she quickly running out of time.
Alex is absolutely in love with Keela and will do absolutely anything for his women. He knows he’s messed up with some things and he can tell with the way Keela’s been acting, so he decides to throw her a house warming party. Too bad this was one of the WORST idea he’s ever had. This sets his woman off and he isn’t sure what to do. Then once he hears what Keela has been feeling, he starts to wonder if his woman is second guessing things. But that’s not what ruins the night.
First all the women get drunk and decide it’s a great idea to take pregnancy tests. However, they all get mixed up and when they find that one is positive, they all start to freak out because they aren’t sure who is actually pregnant. The men are a little freaked and want to have the girls retest right away, but before they can do that, the uninvited guest start to show.
People from Keela and Alex’s past show up at their new home and put them on edge, but once things are set and someone does something really stupid, a fight breaks out and the police show up. From there the night goes downhill (did you really except things to ever go smoothly with the Slater boys?) and a decision is made.
Will Keela decide that even though she has her fears, the relationship she has with Alex is one of those one of a kind things? Or will she decided that her fears out weight what could possibly be her happily ever after?
I love love love this family and can’t wait to see what happens with Kane in the next book. After what happens to him in the end of Keela, I’m hoping things are good for him. Send me to where these boys are and I wouldn’t mind joining this family ;)

Holy crap I would love to swear but I have to be polite... L.A.Casey you know how much I love you and your books and I thank you so damm much for giving me the honor of reading your ARC of Keela but damm woman I think you outdid yourself this time. I love all the books from the Slater Brothers series, I have two paperback copies of each book and have read each about 20 times each lol but this one damm words cannot describe what I feel about this book, and this is the reason she is my number one fav author. She has literally left me speechless and hanging lol. I laughed so hard with this book, it was very hard trying to contain my laughter while putting a sick baby to sleep lol. My heart sored and broke in this novella. I loved that we got to hear about how everyone is doing, even Damien. But I'm not going to give anything away cus I want everyone to go our and buy this book and read it cus dammm if you don't there is something wrong with you. If you haven't read the Slater Brothers series seriously stop what your doing and go and read it.... This book had it all laughter, heartbreak, tension, sexual tension lmao, and also a new great family bond amongst all of them. Oh and the end far out that is all I will say now if you were speaking to me I wouldn't use the word far out to describe the ending I would use something more like f&@k me to hell and back damm lmao this author takes you on such a ride with everyone of her books you feel like you are there living it and feeling it but I must say this one will not leave my head for a long time..can't wait to get this on paperback so I can read it over n over again , now off to dream about Alec again after he made me melt all over again, just when I thought I couldn't love him more, damm you slater brothers !!!! Bring on Kane PLEASE !!!!! If I could give it more stars I would !!!! Finished in one sitting which I awesome lately considering I have four young kids at home !!

Another hit by L.A. Casey, she is the one author I can always count on to pull me out of my book funk.
Keela has been on her own from a young age and when she meets Alec everything changes almost in the blink of an eye. In this book we'll see how Keela deals with all that angst.
Alec *Sigh* is being his overly funny self and the most wonderfull boyfriend to Keela.. But him with his strong personality, will it be too much for Keela?
This follow up novella was packed with action and filled with angst and sure leaves us with quite the cliffhanger for Kane's book... ;)

This follow up novella was packed with action and filled with angst and sure leaves us with quite the cliffhanger for Kane's book... ;)

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested in the story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading them first:

This is more of Keela and Alec’s story. Keela and Alec are moving in together. Are they ready to move? Have they started packing? In between crazy bets and lots of seducing will they actually get any work done? Or will doubts and crazy dreams lead to no move at all? Lots of laughs in this story but also lots of slater brother fun!!
I loved all these characters in this series. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Loved the chemistry between these Keela and Alec. Can’t wait for the next Slater brother series story.

Every book in this series just gets better and better the more we get to know the characters. Kerala follows on from Alec and really for most enjoyment you should read them in order. Keela and Alec have had a whirlwind romance built on a pretend relationship, however the chemistry and passion between them is electric. They argue over the small stuff but this is what makes the book hilariously funny. Author L.A Casey writes humour better than anyone I've read.I love the Irish dialect features, this makes the characters much more realistic and is part of what makes these books stand out from the crowd! I adore all the Slater Brothers and their girls. The camaraderie between them all is simply beautiful. Who wouldn't want brothers as hot and protective as this gang.This book is definitely up their on my favourites list and I easily award it 5* ~ Rosie

first off i have to say the slater brothers are becoming one of my favourite brothers series their so.hot love them :-D where to start with this book keela and alec are so funny together I love them they have such funny banter and I love them by favourite character has got to be the dog :-D omg the way they speak to him like he isn't proper person is hilarious aideen keelas friend hates him and all they do is argue about it so funny! the story line was good the bet in this what the girls do is hilarious poor men haha anyway to not give much away this book is defo worth the read and so glad I was able have on arc cudnt wait to read it the ending broke my heart ready for the nxt book which is kane and I'm so worried about it :'(

Each book in this series gets better and better!! I absolutely love these characters, every single one of them. They are the type that pull you in and make you feel the emotions leaping off the page.
So this book picks up where Alec left off ... Keela and Alec are engaged and moving into their new home. Keela and Alec have a relationship for the record books ... its all been a whirlwind!! It started out with a pretend relationship in the Bahamas but the chemistry and passion between these two is undeniable. The witty banter between these two will keep you laughing, and the sex will keep you swooning.
“I love you, Kitten. I really do.”
“And I love you, Playboy. To Neptune and back.”
Keela is still suffering from the events that happened over a year ago. Due to the trauma that she experienced she is having nightmares and she she feels like her and Alec's relationship is moving too fast for her. She wants to be her own person and while she does wants to marry Alec and produce mini Alec's she doesn't want to do it right now. Keela is second guessing everything and stressing out!! However Alec has no idea because she hasn't told him any of what is going on.
"Marriage could be different than datin'. I mean who is to know what could happen?
Disney never did a follow up on Cinderella— like, what happened after the shoe fit?
Did they get on? Did they get divorced ? We'll never know.”
After all the moving has taken place with the help of the whole Slater crew ... Alec throws her a surprise housewarming party ... still unaware of all that Keela is dealing with. Keela blows up, Alec sends the guests away. But then her Uncle Brandon and her cousin show up along with some other people she would rather forget.

This is the continuation of Alec and Keela’s story and it is vital that in order to enjoy it you will have already completed the earlier books in the series because the rest of the Slater’s and their significant others are all present in this book.
Things have galloped along a pace since the end of Alec’s book and not only are the engaged and living together, they are about to become homeowner- well Alec is anyway because he has just bought them a huge house that he has every intension of filling with little Slater’s!
Keela on the other hand, loves her man more than life itself but she is beginning to feel ever so slightly overwhelmed by the enormity of not only the move but also the speed with which her life is galloping along.
Suffering not only from an attack of the jitters, she is also suffering some extremely vivid nightmares as a result of the events that took place at the end of Alec’s story. But is this all because of the fact that she is really uncertain of everything that is going on, is her mind being unsettled, the reason for her feeling so out of sorts.
Determined to not let Alec call all the shots she is certain that before she becomes just an appendage of the enigmatic Alec Slater, she will stand on her own two feet and make a name for herself.
But Alec has an agenda of his own, one that gets waylaid during the course of what turns out to be one of the strangest moving days you will ever read about. They reverie with which he regards Keela is just beautiful, he really loves this woman and is prepared to go to any lengths to make sure she knows it.
This saucy little novella has it all laughter, tears, thrills and spills and not to forget the Slater boys – Alec especially because I think that haircut or not he is my favourite!
The ending is just perfect and I can’t wait to get Kane’s book next!
Oh and by the way – the pitter patter of little slater feet couple be about to set the cat amongst the formidable Slater clan- yummy!!!! But which one is about to be the Daddy???

I fell in love with L.A. Casey when I first read Dominic her writing style and humour are just a pleasure to read.
I would like to say that the Dedication for this book will stay in my heart forever, it was so beautiful and touching and If I get to Melbourne and see her at the book signing in Melbourne in October I will give her such a huge HUG! (and probably cry!)
This lady is a great new talent and it shows in her writing in the best of ways, in Keela she has kept it light and funny but there's the underlying trauma that has affected Keela from the previous installment Alec this is a Novella so its basically the day in the life of the Slater family theres #MovingDayMadness #PregnancyTestMishaps
So if you want to read a book with a great big dollop of Irish humour and meet some very unique characters then start reading this series.
I will warn you that this book will end in a Cliffhanger which will make you wish Kanewas out now but I know I am happy to wait ( but please hurry) L.A. Casey I need to know what happens next!

This was my 1st book in this series and it was AMAZING!! I am a fan of L. A. Casey and was thrilled to be able to read this. I absolutely adore her style & quick wit and find her writing refreshing. I read this book as a standalone and was completely at ease. L.A. did a fantastic job of meshing the stories together and I did not feel overwhelmed while reading. This book was everything I believed it would be coming from her!!
Keela & Alec…YES!!! I LOVED LOVED LOVED this couple and their story. The fantastic banter between them made me crave them and I blew through this book in one sitting. They were complex with a crazy past, yet they fit together so well. I fell in love with them right away!
The primary and secondary characters in this story blew me away. They were all amazing & fun and I couldn’t get enough. Everyone was so familiar and it was easy for me to fall for the group instantly. The story offered me just enough angst to stay completely involved and I swear I have wrist cramp for swiping so fast from page to page!! Great problem to have 100%!!
L.A. has really cemented herself as one of my favorite go to authors. She doesn’t disappoint and offers fantastic stories that make me crave more and more. Keela was a wonderful book and a delightful story. I loved every minute of it and cannot wait to read more in this series. I want more of those shmexy sexy Slater brothers NOW!! Keela was a 5 star read for me for sure. Funny, sexy and fantastic all the way!

She huffed. “He,” she glared at Kane, “said us girls will be useless at packin' and I'm fightin' against it.”
I looked to Kane. “That's a bold statement.”
“But a true one,” he replied.
Alec and his brothers snorted.
I looked over my shoulder to Alec. “What are you laugin' at?”
“Kane,” he replied.
I frowned. “You... agree with him?”
“Say no,” Nico whispered.
I rolled my eyes at his Man Bible advice.
Alec snorted and ignored his brother. “Yeah, I agree with Kane. You four will be no help and you know it.”
The audacity!
“We can bloody be of help and we will be!” I snapped.
“No,” Alec laughed. “You won't.”
I growled, “Do you wanna bet?”
“Yes,” Alec grinned mischievously. “I do.”
“I didn't mean a real bet,” I said, nervously.
Alec smirked. “I did.”
I scoffed. “Really? You do remember what happened the last time we made a bet, don't you?”
Alec chuckled and moved away from me. “Yeah, I won said bet. I got balls deep in your sweetness if I remember correctly.”
Alec's brothers fist bumped him, which caused me to shake my head. Why did men feel the need to congratulate each other about shagging another person?
I rolled my eyes. “And what happened after that?”
Alec frowned. “Hell.”
“Exactly. Bad things happen to us when bets are involved.”
Alec waved me off. “We aren't betting your pus—”
I put my fists up indicating we would thrown down if he said that word.
Alec stopped speaking mid-word to smile at my actions.

I adore Alec and I miss him in this book, it truly is the Keela show and Alec is just ripped and beautiful background scenery.
I actually love that Keela has doubts; it’s normal and real and made he so much more relatable.
This family are hilarious and even though it was the most serious of the books in the series so far there was still enough of the banter and hijinks that make this series unique.
I love this whole family and I’m so looking forward to the next books in the series.
Alec and Keela are obviously destined to be together but their relationship has flaws. I did have a small moment of panic over Keela but I’m so glad it all worked out in the end.
I love it when all of the girls conspire and play with the boys.
Both books Alec and Keela feel like they have dragged this series a few steps closer to the dark side and I kind of love it but I really hope the future books don’t lose the sense of joviality and family.
This novella is short but ultimately sweet.
Keela gets 4 stars from me.
