Decent book, but didn't teach me anything new.

The book has a lot of useful information for someone who is just getting into the hobby. Some of the info is severely dated. Don't use LOIC for DDOS attacks, for one. I wouldn't quite trust CNET for downloading anything anymore, least of all code written with malicious intent. However, the author did give many good stepping stones and resource references for the pl33bs, and I feel this book will entice newcomers to seek more I information and build experience. So all in all, bravo.
