I'm not sure how I feel about this one, it was a somewhat fun and mercifully quick read but so disappointing. Former biker gang member tries to become a model housewife sounded like a fun premise but so far this is just everyone lying about everything to everyone else, little sister being a spoiled brat, little brother being a creep, grandpa being a perv and mother in law being completely oblivious to everything and the titular delinquent housewife being an even bigger spoiled brat than little sister. Oh and dear husband remains unreachable, in the age of ubiquitous smartphones and social media, and no one is concerned... I bought all 4 volumes so I'll finish the series but lesson learned, if it's not from an author I already know and love, I'm not buying a new series based on an intriguing premise alone.

I loved the first volume and bought the other three volumes on impulse, and it went downhill from there. The humor was a bit too cringey for me, I didn't particular care for the story or the characters. It wasn't bad but this isn't something that I would particular revisit.

I wish Komugi did not have the vibe of a Manic Pixie Dream Girl, but here we are. I do wonder how the story will play out in the final two volumes; however, i don’t think the manga as a whole will be remarkable enough to own and reread.

I bought this 4-volume series because the art reminded me of Moyoco Anno and the premise seemed sort of kooky. But it's more cliche than risque. I thought I would like it better... but it's not as delinquent as it sounds

Still annoyed with all the characters. Frankly the reason for the MIL’s dislike of girl bikers is completely stupid. Dai and his pervy friend need to cut it out, Yoshino needs to make up her mind whether she’s trying to tell or not, and the younger sister needs to stop being a brat. Komugi is an adult and should act like it, and recognize that hanging out with her teenage BIL in his room all the time isn’t the smartest move. She seems strangely unselfconscious despite presumably hanging with only girls most of the time.

think i'm gonna have to drop this one lads 😔 it got a double death-blow for me: it started shifting focus completely onto tohru, meaning the titular chara i picked this up for isn't even the protag, AND it started going down the "guy falls for his SIL" route

feel so sad bc i thot with the delinquent + shoujo combo that this would be right up my alley, but i guess it's not meant to be...

Komugi continues to be a slacker, but at least she found some employment and learned to make ..like.. 2 dishes!
Adulting is hard, really curious where the series will continue going

Still a core of the fun of the first one but a disappointing choice of storyline in this volume.

Not as strong as the first volume, seems to get lost in some adolescent one sided romance, instead of focusing on Komugi, the delinquent housewife.

JoseiSeinen Recommendation~

As The Delinquent Housewife, Vol. 2 shifts the focus away from Komugi and more towards her littler-brother-in-law Dai, the storyline becomes a little trope-y, but its genderbent twist keeps it from being a complete cliche. (Although I did enjoy the self-acknowledgement of its trope with its inclusion of a manga-within-a-manga of a younger brother sister in love with his her older brother's sister's wife boyfriend.) Still fun, still interested in the characters, so cheers to Volume 3~
