I was going to give this a higher rating as the build up was good but then, bam, it ended abruptly.

She is his lawyer and he wants more.
She thinks he is only flirting and goes out with his friend.
Both realise after they planned a date he isn't happy with that at all.
But they go on the date anyway, meeting a very angry dragon at the end.
A dragon who attacks his best friend, with as a result, turning him into one too with her help in a very sexy and hot way.

This was a good short read, the problem I had was that this could have been a great book. The story line was there, the three main characters, Michelle, a witch...Cain, a dragon,...and Brock, a human. This story could have been taken so much further. The ending was acceptable, but just stopped. I really wanted to love this book.

This short story was a bonus read in another of the author's short stories. It was going along really great and boom, it just ended. No resolution really to the story line. This could very easily be doubled in length and be a great read. Just really disappointed in how this just abruptly ended.

2.5 stars! So you have a dragon hockey player-Cain who falls for his witch lawyer- Michelle but doesn't act on how he feels before His human friend-Brock does. A little jealousy and a fire burning dragon don't mix. It's not long before things get out of control. Someone's bound to get burned. A quick read without a lot of depth.
