This review won't contain any "spoilers," with respect to this book, but it does assume familiarity with the characters and events of the two previous books in the series, so it may be mildly spoilerish with respect to them.
This third book picks up where "Where You Are" leaves off. Reid is at somewhat of a personal nadir after the unsettling events on the night of the premiere of School Pride. He even gets uncharacteristically introspective, wondering what makes Emma think there's something more to him. Fortunately(?), his loyal friend John is there to steer him back to his "pointless, pleasure-driven life," with foreseeably disastrous results. When he's sentenced to community service at a Habitat for Humanity site as part of his punishment for a catastrophic drunk driving incident, he meets Dori, the volunteer assigned to "baby-sit" Reid while he fulfills his obligation. Dori, short for Dorcas, is there because she's committed to making the world a better place for others. She not only volunteers at Habitat, she helps with VBS, Sunday School and other programs at her dad's church, does meals on wheels, and is headed to Ecuador for a mission trip in just a few weeks. Reid and Dori come from two different worlds and world views, that's for sure, and their initial impressions of each other are not favorable, to say the least. But each feels drawn to the other as the summer progresses, and they begin to find something of value, something they need, in each other.
I loved the previous books in this series, and I really didn't expect this one to surpass them in reading and emotional enjoyment and intensity. I was always an ambivalent Reid supporter at best. Yes, it's been clear from the start that he had potential and character that lay fallow, awaiting some kind of awakening. But as Emma said at one point, it wasn't enough for me that he could be good, given the right motivation. He had to want to be, he had to do something about it, and he never seemed to have the gumption to do that. So, I sort of expected this to be about Reid finding a good girl who could sort of "convert" him, to "change" him to someone better behaved, the way that girls always seem to think they can do to bad boys. But this is a much deeper story, a story about choices, and growth and becoming a human being.
Dori is an amazing character, revealed slowly over the course of the book. You think you know her at the beginning of the book, that she's a classic do-gooder type, with values and strengths that motivate and drive her commitments. And all that is true, but there's so much more depth to her. As it turns out, when these two strangers meet in a modest little half built house, both of them are there under some kind of compulsion, one the no less strong for being self imposed. Both Reid and Dori have built themselves worlds of self-sufficiency, in different way and for different reasons. What happens when those constructions fall apart is what makes this book so powerful and affecting.
Some final random thoughts:

Dori spends a great deal of emotional energy denying that, at one point saying, "if I believed for two seconds that there was a reason behind some of the awful thing that occur in this life, I wouldn't be able to stand it." Exploring that idea, through some pretty horrific events, is a really interesting theme of this book, and while it's left unresolved (can it ever be resolved?), good does come from some terrible things in this story.
The name Dorcas. Whew, tough name for a kid, no wonder she goes by Dori. In the Bible, Dorcas was a woman known for her good deeds. She was also brought back from death by Peter, a guy who spent most of his time messing things up until he finally got it right. I'm not saying this is an allegory or anything, but I love how that story kind of resonates.
Alison Krauss. What an achingly pure and sweet voice she has. It seems so simple, and yet conveys such emotional power and depth. So it totally makes sense that when Dori sings, it's one of her songs. A particularly ambiguously heart-breaking one, too.
So, all in all, a wonderful book, a powerful read that will stick with you long after you finish, wishing and begging for more. I love how Brooke comes (briefly) back into things, and how parental relationships are such an important part of this story. Thanks so much, Tammara, for creating such a richly imagined world, that has such creatures in it.

Adored this book. I have a thing for bad boys and this book gives one of my favorite bad boys a chance at finally finding happiness. I couldn't put it down. Dori is perfect for Reid Alexander. She is everything he isn't and watching him fall makes it all the more sweeter. Although I've loved all the books in this series Good For You is my absolute favorite.

Now THIS is what I'm talking about. Welcome back, Reid, let's hang out for a while.
After crashing his car into a home while driving drunk, Reid reports for mandatory community service building a new home for the family whose home he destroyed. His on-site supervisor is none other than relentless do-gooder Dori Cantrell. The two bicker and spar while fighting their undeniable attraction to one another.
All the things that intrigued me about Reid in Between the Lines are in full effect in Good For You. While he can be a jerk, Reid tries very hard to be honest with himself. He knows when he's being a douchecanoe, and he knows when he's being a pain in the ass. Even while he was chasing Emma, he thought through his responses to her, why it mattered so much that she give in, whether he ought to tell her he loved her to seal the deal. You can see the same in his knee-jerk reactions to his father: he reacts, but he thinks about it as he does it. Reid is fairly introspective; those glimpses into his inner world made him an enticing character. (His depth kept me on pins during Between the Lines because I thought "if he would just come around, I'd love to see him with Emma".)
What Reid didn't have before, though, was perspective. As someone rich, famous, and good-looking, no one was going to call him on his poor behavior. The rules just didn't apply to him, and he never had to think beyond his own desires. Dori doesn't let him get away with this, and Reid is starting to come around to wanting something more from his life.
Dori is at something of a crossroads herself. While she's altruistic, she's not a cardboard goody two shoes out to save Reid. Dori has her own emotional quagmires while she tries to figure out how to be a good person.
Both characters are on their own journeys that happen to coincide, which is something I don't see a lot of in romance stories where the journey is typically mutual rather than parallel.
Like Where You Are, the story bogs down a little bit in the middle, but Webber uses every scene to push the story along.
I have to say, I jumped into this series because the first book was $.99 and I figured I'd give it a shot for that sort of investment. I'm incredibly impressed by the quality of Webber's writing and storytelling. It reminds me of the Cynthia Voigt books I love when I was young, with characters that were three-dimensional and messy and not always lovable, but I wanted the best for them anyway.

I really love this book and I didn't expect it to be this good.
I admit it took me a long time to finally read it since I hated Reid in the first and second book! He's bad and a jerk most of the time.
But I'm so glad I decided to read it, it made me love Reid and I'm happy that I gave him a second chance. It's really true, every bad person really deserves a second chance. :)
I liked Doris, I can say that she's perfect for Reid. They are very different from each other, having the opposite lives. Doris has this good girl image, a pastor's daughter, a social worker student, a part time teacher in a vacation bible school. Yes, she attends church every Sunday. While Reid is definitely an opposite of her, he's a handsome celebrity, with a workaholic dad and alcoholic mom, he parties every night, goes with different girls, and the usual guy who drinks and drive. He had an accident and destroyed a house, then he volunteered in a community service and later on handled by Doris. And the rest of the story is about how they clicked together, even though they used to argue a lot since they have different attitudes and views. I liked how the romance grew, their undeniable attraction with each other, and their friendship turned to love. I like the fact that Reid changed and became a better person because of her. Also he understand everything about her.
I love love love this book, it got me to tears while reading it, and has brought up many emotions in me. I love how Tammara Webber weaves a beautiful story but a realistic one, where everyone can relate to. ;)

This is such an enjoyable series, and I really liked this book – more than I was expecting, which was a really nice surprise. It follows on from the previous two books in the series, and this time the focus shifts away from the bigger cast of characters and focusses solely on Reid Alexander – hot, sexy and spoiled Hollywood actor. Reid is only 19 but he revels in the celebrity lifestyle, doing what he wants, when he wants it, with whoever he wants. Reid has been a big part of the series so far, and though he wasn’t the most likeable of characters, there is something about him that you can’t help but love.
This book is set a few months after the end of the last book, and Reid’s irresponsibility has finally caught up with him when, after driving under the influence and crashing his car into somebody’s house, he is sentenced to mandatory community service rebuilding homes in a low-income community.
18 year old Dori Cantrell is everything that Reid is not – sweet, kind, religious, and a humanitarian determined to make the world a better place for others. She is less than impressed when she is charged with supervising the spoiled celebrity on the building site where she volunteers. Reid is equally unimpressed at being stuck with the dorky girl who constantly looks down on him and seems immune to his charms.
And the stage is set for a great romantic battle right from the beginning with Reid and Dori clashing time and time again. Things get complicated when they start to develop an attraction to each other, but their lives are just too different, and it’s not until their summer together is over and they move on that they start to recognise the impact that they had on each other.
When they are reunited again, so much has happened since they have seen each other, it is a very different Reid and Dori that come together. Reid wants to be there for Dori, and she needs him, but can she trust him with her heart?
I loved this story. Reid and Dori both go through huge changes throughout the events of the story and their individual journeys are beautifully written. Reid’s growth as a character is so well done, and I love that even though goes through significant change, he is still very much himself – just a more likeable, not-so-selfish version of himself.
And similarly, though Dori seems to have it together (and she certainly seems to think so), she is hiding a secret past, and her life is about to take a huge shift, her faith put to the test as she starts to question everything she believes and everything she ever though she wanted.
There are some big shocks, and I have to say I was surprised at the amount of emotion in this story. I teared up more than once, but though it was definitely hard to read at times, I thought the whole thing was written beautifully. It also serves to create a new dynamic for Reid and Dori, and I loved their relationship development - honest and realistic with lots of heart, and every little moment was beautifully explored.
This is such a fun read. Yes, there’s drama, but there’s also a lot of light moments and Reid’s teasing and sarcastic banter is hugely entertaining, and I laughed a lot. The book ends in a good place but the story isn’t over. I’m looking forward to continuing on with the series.

Excellent! Wow, Reid Alexander…where to begin. In last 2 books he had less than stellar behavior and was the consummate bad-boy of Hollywood. Even though I never cared much for his actions, I always felt that there was good inside him just waiting to come out and he gave us a glimpse of that at the end of the last book, or I should say Tammara Webber did. This time his behavior damn near killed him and bought him some time doing community service, and into the life of Dori Cantrell. At first I wanted to smack him upside the head and send him to the corner to do some time-out, but slowly he wore Dori down and me. By the end of the book, Dori was in love with a boy named Reid...not the celebrity…the boy, and so was I *sigh*.
Again, very nicely done, switching back and forth between the two POV’s. TW took a character that many readers had such dislike for, the infamous Reid, and left you with a soft spot in your heart for him. Dori was a work in progress, and although she comes off like the good girl, and she is…I adored her…she has a scandalous secret from her past too. I enjoyed how Reid took the high road with Dori and never pushed her to doing, or being more than she was comfortable with. She showed Reid a different path to take, not the self-destructive one he was on. Reid was still Reid, just making better choices in his life. I loved how you could see the relationship between him and his parents begin to heal. It was never stated, but definitely implied, and you felt hope for this broken family.
The sexual content in this third book was elevated, but appropriate and fit the comfort level for the characters and their experience. I’m hooked on this series. Although I’m not a fan of Brooke’s, I think for all she’s been through, she needs an HEA of her own. Is this going to happen; is there a book in the works? I have no idea, but it would make a great addition to this series.

ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE READS.
Good For You was one of the first books I tackled when I began to read again last year. This quickly became a favorite of mine as I fell in love with Tammara Webber's writing genius and Dori and Reid's journey. At that time, I didn't do so much reviews in Goodreads but I love this book so much that I want to re-write this review and try to do this brilliant book justice.
Fast forward - almost 300 books later - Good For You remains a top favorite. Some books entertain and keep you engrossed for a few hours but there are rare stories like this that you never quit. I have a deep sentimental attachment to this book.
Good For You is INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED. I've read Easy, the book that elevated Miss Webber's popularity to soaring heights, but to me this was superior to that bestselling book. I actually started this series backwards, reading book 3 first. I have no regrets. I did read the first two books eventually and found myself bored with Emma and Graham's story. Bear in mind though that the first two books are also highly rated. So maybe, I'm a little biased here.
I believe the reason for Good For You's lackluster popularity is two-fold. First, more than a few people hated Reid in the first two books. He was the ultimate bad boy who lived life to the fullest uncaring and without a conscience. Two, people expected a Hollywood romance. Bad boy meets plain jane, fall in love and bam - we get a fairy tale happy ending.
But this is not your typical love story. This was more than a Hollywood romance. There was no insta-love because the connection was so deeply rooted to the characters' respective cores that it took awhile for it to grow and flourish. It was a slow burn yet so life changing that there was a lot of resistance before Dori and Reid accepted this love.
Reid and Dori are polar opposites. He is Mr. Reckless who does things without thinking of consequences to others and to himself. Reid to-date remains my favorite male POV ever. And his REDEMPTION remains one of the most beautiful stories I've ever encountered.
Good For You was one of the first books I tackled when I began to read again last year. This quickly became a favorite of mine as I fell in love with Tammara Webber's writing genius and Dori and Reid's journey. At that time, I didn't do so much reviews in Goodreads but I love this book so much that I want to re-write this review and try to do this brilliant book justice.
Fast forward - almost 300 books later - Good For You remains a top favorite. Some books entertain and keep you engrossed for a few hours but there are rare stories like this that you never quit. I have a deep sentimental attachment to this book.
Good For You is INCREDIBLY UNDERRATED. I've read Easy, the book that elevated Miss Webber's popularity to soaring heights, but to me this was superior to that bestselling book. I actually started this series backwards, reading book 3 first. I have no regrets. I did read the first two books eventually and found myself bored with Emma and Graham's story. Bear in mind though that the first two books are also highly rated. So maybe, I'm a little biased here.
I believe the reason for Good For You's lackluster popularity is two-fold. First, more than a few people hated Reid in the first two books. He was the ultimate bad boy who lived life to the fullest uncaring and without a conscience. Two, people expected a Hollywood romance. Bad boy meets plain jane, fall in love and bam - we get a fairy tale happy ending.
But this is not your typical love story. This was more than a Hollywood romance. There was no insta-love because the connection was so deeply rooted to the characters' respective cores that it took awhile for it to grow and flourish. It was a slow burn yet so life changing that there was a lot of resistance before Dori and Reid accepted this love.
Reid and Dori are polar opposites. He is Mr. Reckless who does things without thinking of consequences to others and to himself. 3.5 stars. I'm so happy that the second half of this book took a turn for the better because I almost wrote off Good For You as being a weak finish to an otherwise cute series.
It's not that the first half of the book was bad or even slow. I had no problem sailing through the book and enjoyed the read. This author has a writing style that's easy to get into. My frustration came from feeling like I had lost Reid somewhere along the way. Maybe it was just the new setting. I was used to Reid's persona while immersed in the Hollywood lifestyle. Something about this whole new world made me feel like I had wandered into another series altogether.
Is this really a fair complaint? Maybe Reid never would have found the right girl in among his peers, after all. No one would have wanted to read a book about Reid and another Emma clone. I completely understand that Reid needed to be yanked away from his bad influences in order to see life outside of his privileged bubble.
Maybe I just didn't take to Dori right away. I shuddered every time a "golly, gosh, popsicles," or some other random word came out of her mouth. In contrast, Reid was as foul mouthed as ever, as if we were going to somehow miss the bright neon sign saying OPPOSITES. Again, not really a complaint, but I think Dori's language was a bit silly, almost as if it was pushed too hard that she was different from Reid. Just the fact that she was into missions and volunteer work was enough of an indicator.
I had flashbacks of Adrian from VA/Bloodlines and his attitude that "these hands don't do manual labor," so that kind of made me smile. It was cute to see Reid come out of box a little and learn to act more like a normal person. His character growth was sort of a 1 step forward, 1 step back. Even though he cut way back on his vices, he did have a couple of slip-ups. I'm glad that he didn't completely change overnight. The book would have felt fake otherwise.
The last 150 or so (ebook) pages of the book where was the book really came into its own and was able to compete with Graham and Emma's story. Watching Dori having to go through a personal struggle which was heartbreaking to her, and not really having the resolution she wanted was interesting to watch. I appreciated that she didn't have all of the answers and tried to cope with it in a way that was out of character. This made her seem more human to me. There was one revelation near the end that I did not see coming. Part of me thinks that the plot device might have been a bit off because it's a bit overused by this point, but I will say that I was definitely suprised in this case.
When it was all over, I was happy with the way things turned out. Reid gets points for dealing with Brooke the way he did, but lost some for not telling Dori something he should have. I'm assuming that this will come later in their story - sort of an "off the pages" revelation that we don't get to see. He'd almost need to, with the way she'd managed to reveal some of her inner demons to him.
It was a little surprising that Graham and Emma never made a cameo, other than one paparazzi mention of them. I definitely knew that their story was over, but a brief pass-by from them would have been fun.
I'm going to miss this series. Part of me almost wishes that there would be a book 4, just because I don't want to leave these characters behind, but I didn't ever like Brooke and she was the only other character that got enough mention to possibly warrant a book. Maybe this is the right ending, after all.

Hands down, my favorite book of the series. Tammara Webber, you are my hero.
It’s no secret that I love Reid. From the beginning of the series, he just stood out to me. Yes, he was an egotistical, self-centered ass, but there was just something about him that drew me in. In Good For You, we get a Reid who has pretty much hit rock bottom. After a late night of partying, he crashes his brand new Porsche into a house. Because of his Hollywood status and his lawyer father, he gets off with a fine and some community service – helping build a house for the family he displaced.
While serving out this sentence, he meets Dori. Dori is everything Reid is not – selfless, a humanitarian, etc. She’s often labeled the “good girl” by everyone around her including Reid. But there are secrets of Dori’s past that she wants to keep hidden. Secrets that could destroy her if anyone ever found out.
I liked Dori from the beginning. She was spunky and completely unaffected by Reid’s Hollywood status – well, she wasn’t completely immune to the fact he was gorgeous. She talked back to him, didn’t fall for his lines and pushed him.
There are a lot of YA books out there that deal with a girl changing the evil ways of a playboy. What impressed me about Good For You was that Reid chose to save himself. Dori didn’t change him, she just helped him see the different roads he had before him. She caused him to start questioning the world around him and actually forced him to figure out what he wanted. All of the changes Reid undertook in this book, he did himself – for himself.
“I've changed since I've known you. Not because you made me into someone else - but because you showed me a path I'd never paid attention to, and I chose to follow it.”
Webber is a genius at character development and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us with this series.

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!! Never thought I would ever learn to love Reid and WOW. FANTASTIC!!

I didn’t write a review of the first two books of this series because they weren’t good enough for me to go to the effort of actually writing about it. They were good, but not great.
This book though – wow. Amazing! It took me only 3 days to read this because I just couldn’t put it down!
Reid Alexander – your traditional party boy slash celebrity. Goes out every night, gets drunk off his ass and takes the first pretty thing he sees back to his mansion.
Dori Cantrell – daughter of a pastor, your traditional good girl. Does plenty of charity work and finds it hard to think of doing things for herself without feeling guilty.
I knew these two would have amazing chemistry together, but still. Every time something happened that elevated their relationship to the next level I would have to put the book down and squeal like your typical fangirl before I could continue reading! I love when I get so invested in couples in that way, because it makes the book as a whole that much more enjoyable.
Reid
While Reid won't make my top 10 list of love interests, I still liked him and found him amusing. In the first 2 books, while we do get his POV, we don’t see much growth from his character.
In this book, while drunk-driving, he crashes his car into the rental house of a family who’s getting their house built by volunteers. Reid’s punishment is to help build their house for a month. That’s where he meets Dori, who completely changes Reid’s perspective on life. This is a hate-to-love relationship, so they naturally despise each other at first, but the descent into mutual respect and eventual love is so wonderfully done, it's addicting. Once Reid discovers this is the first proper time he’s falling for a girl, he changes drastically. From abstaining from sex, alcohol and drugs to giving his money over to charities, he becomes a much more respected person of society.
Dori
She’s your good girl, who is the complete opposite of Reid but turns out he’s exactly what she needs. While she tries to pull away from him at first, she can’t help but be drawn to him. She's a daughter of the pastor, so it would be so easy for the author to make her your typical unlikable goody two shoes who has a holier than thou attitude, but when we first meet Dori, she has this take-no-shit attitude that endeared me to her immeidately. She almosts comes off as rude, but not enough to be truly unlikable.
I can’t get over how much I loved this book! It was inspiring, un-put-down-able, exciting, and had secondary characters that actually had a purpose and weren’t just there.
I wouldn’t even bother reading the first 2 books; they aren’t as good and are completely irrelevant to this book except for the few times the characters from those books are mentioned (and even then it doesn’t give too much away you knew was going to happen anyway.)

After the release his current movie School Pride and being dumped by his former love team on the said movie, Reid believes that "The best way to get over someone, is to get under another one." so as usual, he finds himself partying and hooking up with other girls. But a night could certainly change everything. His latest mistake was drunk-driving ruining a house and his very own car. After the incident he finds himself doing community service to clear his image to the public. The one who was in charge with him on this community servies is Dori. He don't really know what he does to receive her sayings about him but he was defnitely up for a challenge. Namely her.
Dori, on the other hand, a daughter of a pastor, loves to sing and loves to join missions with a cause. She doesn't give a damn about working with a Hollywood star like Reid, but there is certainly something about him that surely makes way to her bones at the same time a thing that also makes her turn into putty on his arms. For the past week, she has been looking forward on her trip going to Ecuador to join a mission then the next day, she was facing Reid Alexander doing some painting job. Life can't get much worse than that.
I'm overly excited in reading this book that i ended up finishing it overnight. But nonetheless, this last book to the Between The Lines Series is just utterly awesome. There is not a thing i dislike on this one. It was a very light and easy read. This is definitely the best book on this series.
Oh, how i fell in love with Reid Alexander on this one. He came back alive and kicking! This book clearly redeems him from his attitudes from the past books. He proves that despite the bad-boy atittude and being a womanizer, he can be loyal and dedicated if he wanted to and that's what definitely makes me swoon over him. Since i've started reading this series i've really been curious about Reid and it really does makes me happy that the last book is dedicated to him and in finding his own happiness. I liked how he matures in this and learn things on his own way and from his maistakes.
Dori, on the other hand is just simple. Sweet and Simple. She has been a very good companion for Reid and despite the power she held over him, she didn't quite use this for her own benifit. Despite facing her own Family Dillemma's, she held her own and open her mind in learning things from other people.
After finishing this book, I gave a defnitely good sigh. I feel contented after reading it. I felt happy that it all ends well. Every character on this series has their own good life to look forward to with people who love them, they would definitely be always be remebered by me. :) This has been a roller coaster ride for me and this series, but i surely and truly loved it. Though the story might already have ended, it would still surely live on my own little mind.

I have loved Reid, who stole a piece of my ❤, throughout this series. I was dying for him to have his HEA and I was NOT disappointed!! Yes his behaviour in the previous books haven't been all that great (understatement I know!!) but he has this little boy lost quality - a vulnerability that is so endearing and when teamed with his bad boy gorgousness how can you NOT fall for him??!!
In this story Reid has a car crash whilst driving under the influence. He has his day in court and ends up having to do community service which ironically sees him working on restoring the new house of the family his crime affected. On his first day on this project he meets Dori. Dori is the complete opposite of Reid in so many ways although I have to say it took me some time to warm to her. Maybe I was partly feeling defensive of Reid but I don't think it was just that. However, despite that, she was self-less, and once her true character and her heart-break and suffering was unveiled and explored I wanted to pick her out the story and put her in my pocket!! I also LOVED how she drew out the REAL Reid who was hidden under the self-destructive persona caused by his home life and adopted perception by others!! Reid was amazing with Dori,he never pushed her and I ❤'d him even more for that!! Their journey was emotional and sigh..yummy!!

I was a little unsure going into this. I loved book two, because I loved Emma and Graham.. but the first two books made me absolutely despise Reid. He was such a horrible person. But with a little (re: a lot) of pushing from my friend Jess, I went forth and read. OMG I'm so glad she pushed me.
This book was definitely the best book of the series. Reid completely redeemed himself and I completely fell in love with him. He learned so much - and I think this series was truly about him. All his experiences in the first two books, led him to this point.
I've changed since I've known you. Not because you made me into someone else-- but because you showed me a path I'd never paid attend to, and I chose to follow it.

Okay, finally, Reid's book. I have to admit going into this book I didn't have high hopes for him. So far through the series he's been a colossal jerk, complete with the belief that he is God's gift. He drinks, he indulges in drugs and he sleeps with anything that moves. Given this description you kind of wonder where Emma saw that he could be a better person.
The opening sentence really doesn't help his case. In the beginning of the book he's the Reid that we all know and grudgingly love, grudgingly because like Emma we're pretty sure that somewhere deep down he's not such an ass as me makes himself out to be, but he's Reid and so far all we have seen is that he is indeed an ass.
I have to admit the transformation was so subtle that it could actually play out in real life. We go from the familiar Reid to a side of him that we all hoped was there. This in no way means he goes from Hollywood Bad Boy to Choir Boy, but he finds a nice little in between that fits him and makes him more drool worthy than ever.
I loved this book, it's by far my favorite of the series by far. There is just something about Reid that made me want to see him better him self,and this book did not disappoint. It made me cry, a lot, it made me smile and laugh. I can only sit and wait for the next one (Do I see a happy ending for Brooke in the future? Because if there is a person in this series who deserves a chance to better themselves more than Reid, it's his jaded and slightly broken first love).

And Tammara Webber officially brings it HOME!
I can't say enough good things about this book. I read the entire series in a few days. Having adored the first two books, opening the first pages of this one had me bouncing with anticipation.
When I realized we'd be spending a lot of time with an entirely new character, I was initially disappointed. But that only lasted 5 or 10 pages. By the end, this had become my favorite book of the trilogy.
For the record, the character arc of Reid Alexander (throughout the series, and in this single volume) has me offering the author a standing ovation. THIS is how you make a reader fall in love, think, and admire a character, all in one shot. Reid's voice in this book is compelling, richly masculine, and deliciously naughty-and-nice.
If you're a fan of character driven love stories, this is one for you. In fact, even if you haven't read the other two books, I think you could pick this one up and fall in love anyway.

Sometimes I read a book and it's mostly 4 stars all the way through, but it has a superb ending that bumps it up to a 5 star rating. Good For You was 5 stars from the first word to the last. In fact, I'd give it 10 stars if they'd let me. I flat out loved it!
I fell for Reid in the first book of this series (Between the Lines) and have been aching for his redemption, his love story and wow, did Webber deliver! Reid Alexander is sarcastic, snarky, charming, gorgeous and shameless, but he's also broken inside, running from the pain at home he doesn't know how to fix. Dori seems like she has it all together, but she's running, too. It's simply beautiful the way these two, who are from completely different social circles, find what they need in each other.
This is one I'll re-read and there are very few books in that category for me.

I will start by saying, I have always had a soft spot for Reid, even in his super jerk-moments! In all 3 books my heart broke for the Alexander family, but mostly for little boy inside of Reid. And the sweetness he was so afraid to show anyone, until Dori come along. She gave him something worth fighting for. I loved her too! I am going to have to reread this book, because I rushed the entire thing; just wanting Reid to have his HEA. My excitement for this book's release was will worth the wait! Plus, any book staring Reid Alexander is five stars! Thank you Tammara Webber for sharing Emma, Graham, Dori and Reid!

First off, because I loved Graham in the last book, I wasn't expecting this book to be as good as the first two because I knew Reid would be the main guy... I started to have a soft spot for Reid in the last book but in this book my expectations were exceeded!
I found that I loved Dori's character just as much as I loved Reid's! That doesn't happen for me in most books. If you enjoyed the first two books you will not be disappointed in this one! I have loved every book by this author!

I have been waiting soooo long to read "Good For You" and it didn't let me down. I have to say this is my favourite in the series which is a huge shock to me as I have never been a fan of Reid but I loved this new side to him that we see in "Good For You" and his relonship with Dori was amazing I hope book #4 of the Between The Lines series see's more of these two.

I can't begin to explain how amazing this book was.
Talk about character development!
For the first two book in the Between the lines series, we've seen Reid Alexander as your typical celebrity guy, an immature brat who likes to drink, get high and screw literally anyone everywhere. We've seen him try a lot to be with Emma, but we've all known he didn't really want her. She was just a trophy for him, because she was the first girl to ever resist him. And then he meets my favorite girl, Dori.
Man, Dori is really something.
At first she's introduced herself as this sweet girl, who always does what she's supposed to, always helping and being a good girl.
Reid is being his obnoxious self and he car-crashes into a house, so the court rules for him to do voluntary work, where he meets Dori. Of course he doesn't seem too attracted to her at first, but after she shows she has no inclination towards his celebrity status, he is suddenly interested in her.
At first, I thought this was your typical good girl-bad boy story, but MAN!
Besides Reid's amazing character development, from the jerk and drunk he was, he became more confident and found himself some limits, we have Dori. Man, she's quite a character.
As I said, at first Dori seemed nothing but a good girl. But having her be a good girl with a not-so-innocent past? OH-MY-GOD, Tammara Webber, you are killing me!!! She's so amazing, and man... I just love her.
I loved Emma, a lot. But I feel like Dori is a character I like more, because Emma was so easily influenced by everyone around her... And I loved Graham, but he was a good guy in his pure essence, but Reid has gone through amazing changes through book 2 and 3, so I'll stick to him for a moment.
And now I hope Brooke won't spoil everything with her search for their son and everything (and that settled my question of what happened to Brooke's baby, because I certainly didn't care about her at all to realize she gave up her kid, and then she didn't even THINK about him for a second in book 2. I mean, Reid didn't care, yeah, he's a jerk, but he wasn't the one he carried the baby inside him for 9 months, plus he really thought he wasn't his.)
I can't wait to start reading the last book, but please, don't make it be the last book, because I'm in love with all the characters, plus I really, really, really need to know how Emma and Graham are holding up, but also I don't ever want to read about Brooke, but I want Reid and Dori to be happy, and happy, and happy... Okay, I'll stop now.

Is it legal to marry a book? If it is then i'm getting married in about 5 minutes when I finish this review.
I LOVED this book. Like really LOVED it.
When I finished the second book "Where You Are" I was super excited to read more about Emma, Graham and Reid. When I went to purchase the third book I found out that it was about Reid and a girl that hadn't been introduced yet. I love Reid. Like a whole lot. But I really wanted to hear more about Emma and Graham too. However I saw a review and this girl said that while she'd never liked Reid this ended up being her favorite book out of the 3. So I went into this with a good attitude. And I loved it.
If you've read the first two books (which you better have otherwise SPOILERS) then you know that Reid is a playboy. He had Emma for a little while in the first book but she obviously was made for Graham. In the VERY begining of this book Reid has to do community service because he drove drunk and wrecked his car into the side of a habitat for humanity house. Coinsidentaly this is where is community service takes place. There he meets Dori. At first I wasn't sure what to think about her. I mean she's awesome and super likeable...it's just that i've grown to love Reid and I didn't want anybody messing with him.
They end up starting to like each other (durp) and Reid starts becoming a better person. They are a fantastic couple and watching Reid grow in this book is heartwarming. He's so wonderful. They are wonderful. Ahhhhh. Sweet bliss.
I actually think I almost like this book best. It's just so great to see such a character development. It's so dang good people. So dang goooood.
Anyways this book is definatly being recommended to you by mwah. So go read this series. Please. You won't regret it.
P.S. I almost forgot! There are references to Emma and Graham (still doing strong mhmm) and you also get to see some of the characters from the previous 2 books. So that's always fun.
P.S.S. Tammara Webber could your write another book about Emma and Graham and another about Reid and Dori. Please.

So, I'm pretty sure fans of the first 2 books are going to be a little skeptical like I was about this one, a whole book about Reid Alexander didn't seem appealing. But, I love Tammara and her books and when she sent me a copy (which I am so thankful that she did) I started it as soon as I had the chance and I finished it in record time (one sitting) loving every beautiful, and paint splattered, moment. I want everyone to know, it's by far my favorite book of the series!
The contrast between Reid's world of glitz and glamour and Dori's simple life is absolutely mind blowing, not to mention how completely different they are personality-wise. Dori is this incredibly brilliant altruistic soul and I think anyone who has followed this series knows, Reid is far from being selfless. In books 1 and 2 he's a completely self centered and arrogant jerk who is only ever happy when he's making others miserable. But, we get to see a new Reid in Good for You, and he's pretty spectacular.
I know, I know, it's Reid Alexander! Aren't we supposed to hate Reid Alexander? I did, at least in the first two books (well he grew on me a TINY TINY bit at the end of book 2), but he grows a lot in this book and is almost unrecognizable. It was hard to remember that he was the same Reid from Between the Lines, this book follows just him (we do hear a little about Emma and Graham, and some School Pride co-stars make appearances) and Dori.
My favorite character was Dori, she's this self confident girl who is tough and capable of anything. Appearing perfect but with secrets of her own, I loved her. She's the perfect counterpart for Reid, and she doesn't put up with his crap. This book made me want to become a better person, it made me want to spend summers helping kids in South America and devote my weekends to building homes. It's just an overall inspiring read.
Tammara is amazing! If you aren't familiar with her work, well familiarize yourself because you're missing out! I can't wait for the next book in the series, or her new stand-alone novel!

Reid Alexander has to do community service for crashing his car into someone's home while under the influence. He's assigned to help Habitat for Humanity build a new home for the people who no longer have a place to live thanks to him.
Dori volunteers her time to help build homes with Habitat for Humanity, she teaches her church's VBS, and wants to be a social worker. Oh, did I mention her father is a preacher? She's assigned the task of baby sitting Reid while he does his time for Habitat.
What I liked
Holy s***, everything! I was so freaking happy to FINALLY see what I've wanted to see since I started the first book...for somebody to help Reid realize that there is a lot more to him then he lets other people see. Aaaahhh I seriously loved this book!

I've changed since I've known you. Not because you made me into someone else - but because you showed me a path I'd never paid attention to, and I chose to follow it.
Good For You by Tammara Webber is the best of the Between The Lines series. It made me even love Reid!! I couldn't believe it!
The story begins with hottie movie star Reid Alexander being drunk and crashing his car into a family's house. In order to save his image, he must pay for the damages and he eventually ends up at Dori Cantrell's community service supervision. At first, she seems unimpressed by his fame and that's what makes Reid wish for nothing but making her fall for his charm.
He thinks that he only wants from her what he expects from every girl he had. But this time he is wrong. While trying to get Dori's attention, he begins to commit himself to her, falling for her patience, her kindness, her forgiveness, her strength, and her ability to see the good in anyone. And that's what scares the hell out of him - he thinks he is no good for her. He tries to change and finds that the path he'd never paid attention to and he's following right now isn't what he had thought it would be.
But will that convince Dori and her parents that he has changed and isn't the spoiled and irresponsible star he used to be?
So, if you're in for a good reading and like to see how love can shape characters, then this is the book for you. Enjoy! :)

SO i've been putting off reading this for a very long time for reasons unknown. I literally devoured the first two books when I got them. They were one of the fist books I ordered and got down adn I simply loved Tammara Webber after them and Easy.
Just recently I re-read the first two and thought of finishing the third too and boy ain't I happy that i did. I fell in loe with the book. Ok maybe not as much as the first two. Graham and Emma will forever be favorite OTP in book world (Right after Jem and Tessa). I like in the book how Reid redeemed himself. I won't say I was a huge fan of Dori (I simply loved Emma in the previous book) but I did not dislike her in any way. I felt she was being forced to be the nice girl when in truth she wasn't the goody-two-shoes she was portrayed to be. Also I was happy to see even a tiny bit of Graham and Emma and to see that they are on good terms with Reid and they are going strong (obviously they will be, they are basically end game)
