Born as Katie Infield in Brighton, East Sussex, England on May 22 1978, I changed my last name to Price when my mother Amy remarried. I have an older brother, Daniel, and a younger sister, Sophie.

Although I had many interests when I was younger, a friend suggested that I should pursue a modeling career. So I sent a few shots to an agency and was taken on. I attended loads of castings, had my fair share of negative responses then one day, in a studio next to where I was working, a model failed to turn up for a shoot. The photographer asked around if anyone would be interested in doing a topless shoot… and the rest, as they say, is history!

My topless modeling career took off in 1996 when I appeared in The Sun as part of the ‘Page 3′ pictorial. The legendary section of the tabloid features a different girl each day posing topless. I was the first topless model to grace the Page 3 for a whole week – fully dressed on a Monday, then each day revealing more and more untill Friday – full topless. The exposure boosted my career and I soon became one of the UKs most famous models, under the pseudonym ‘Jordan.’

From there on I graced many magazine front covers , not just in the UK but also across Europe. My popularity soon reached even further afield and I posed for Playboy, landing on the front cover of the September 2002 issue.

I have been through many well-publicised relationships. And my illnesses, including the removal of a tumor from one of my fingers and complications with my pregnancies and family, have been very public.

This review comes with a warning; excessive moaning, and not the good kind...I hate it when people leave books at my house because I feel compelled to read them. Even one's like these.

Jordan the glamour model, who I am maybe-sort-of envious of...well who wouldn't be? she's got a fuck off house in the countryside that makes my farmouse look like a hovel, a line of stables and a fleet of sportscars. She has made her millions on fake plastic tits ~which I have since learned are SMALL in comparison to my real 36J's,has fake hair and nails and teeth and probably a lot more besides. This is a girl who never even finished her GCSE's compared with my MA in archaeology and BA in history of art. I have come to the conclusion that she operates on an instinctive level, like neanderthal man or something with all of the tools one requires to survive, normally tucked away in the primordial lizard part of her brain overriding everything else in there, because let's face it her obvious minimal intelligence combined with a penchant for flashy shopping simply does not explain how she's managed to earn and maintain so much.

Perhaps us girls should all lay off trying to forge actual career's for ourselves and just get naked for GQ instead?

First of all I am quite a big fan of Katie Price's fictional books not so much her autobiographies but 'pushed to the limit' had a sort of appeal to me. Firstly the cover of the paperback was striking! I genuinely believed that this was a more honest account of her life, whereas the others she had previously written were covers with tons of make-up, glitz and glam, this one she wore hardly any make-up with her hair scraped back. I loved the uniqueness of it! I did cry at the beginning when i read of her post natal depression and her account of it was written with such bare honesty that it really got to me. Katie Price follows me on twitter and i have so much respect for her i think she is truly amazing and this book was a good read and i would recomend it to fans of hers and lovers of memoirs overall a good and sad read but not my cup of tea, like i said before i more prefer her fiction books. Happy reading guys! mwah x

I know it's horribly voyeuristic but I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me of reading a diary full of raw emotion. It reads just as I would expect her to talk in conversations.

Katie Price has led a rollercoaster life and the excitement, glamour and emotional twist and turns show no sign of slowing down.

Although happily married to Peter Andre, the past few years have been difficult for Katie. She has overcome a string of fiercely emotional challenges: she has battled post-natal depression, endured a traumatic miscarriage and continually fought fears for the saftey and health of her children and husband. It has all undoubtedly taken its toll on her and placed great strains on her relationship. Katie has always been a strong, passionate, sensitive and independent woman but even she has been pushed to her limits.

Yet Katie's spirit has always shone through and her enthusiasm and determination have seen her triumph: her career continues to go from strength to strength and her desire and appetite to succeed know no bounds. She has given Birth to a Beautiful daughter, Princess Tiaamii, too and despite everyting that has been thrown at them, Katie and Peter have emerged more in love then ever before.

(unfortunatly a couple of years after this book was published Katie Price and Peter Andre split, Katie Price is now in her second marrige and is expecting another child, Peter Andre in now in a settled relationship with his girlfriend)

Jordan: Pushed to the limit is a truly intimate portrait of a sensational life. every page is filled with searing honesty and Katie's unmistakable frank way with words in this moving, up-front and intensely personal account of life lived to the full.

In this third volume, Katie talks about the night she took drugs which almost caused Pete to walk out on her, her postnatal depression and problems bonding with their sun Junior, insecurity over meeting a couple of Pete's ex-girlfriends and her blossoming career. She talks about the night that her son Harvey was badly burned in the bath and the months of painful treatment that she endured. She shares the details of her miscarriage and the surprise pregnancy leading to the birth of daughter Princess. As usual she pulls no punches and is blunt about her feelings and it was another good read even though I am not a fan of her personally.

Re-reading this again, I can see why they broke up shortly after this was written. TAlk about NOT made for each other! All they do is row. Some of the stuff written here was covered in her last book book but in more detail, like her depression after JR was born. Didn't know she and Pete had a show in the states. I wish they had brought out DVDs of their reality show as I missed it when it was on, readin this book makes me want to watch it!

I thought this book would be full of gossip and interesting stories. How wrong was I? Yes she is a normal person and bad things can happen to everyone but this book was just depressing. I also think Pete came across as really horrible and Katie just seemed really naive with regards to his actions towards her. If I have a baby and my husband calls me a "that" and then says he doesn't care about me just hours after the birth I think I would have something a bit more to say about it!

I thought this was ok but at times I found Katie very annoying and self obsessed. At others she seemed lovely however sometimes it felt like she was blaming everyone but herself for anything and everything. I did however find this a good read as she has had many key events in her life. This is not the best out of the 4.

I am a big fan of Katie Price which is why I was first interested in reading her biography. It was a really easy read - I completed it within a day. It wasn't exactly a page-turner but it was interesting enough.

No matter what life throws at her, Price always comes up as the victor. Well done! But starting to get annoying now.

While in England I had to visit the charity shops because I always love them and that there are so many. Where in the one charity shop you pay 2 pounds for a book the one next to it was 1 pound and sometimes some for 50 cents which is such a great deal. So I decided I had to buy a few books.
Bought 3 of which one was this book.

When you read the daily mail as I do on a daily basis you cannot help but reading about this woman. You may not know this but I have been a fervent reality tv watcher since 1999 (Dutch Big Brother which was the first of all BB's) Like with books I love reading non fiction, with TV it is the same. I love documentaries and reality TV. So back in the days I watched all Big brothers. Australia, UK,and later on I began even watching BB US which has a different concept but I learned to love that.

The Dutch TV did not make any more Big Brother after 5 or so. Then to my horror Australia which is the most realzing one to watch decided to call it quits. There was Canada which is just as the Americna version and still the UK version.
But then it changed. They decided not to do the live feed and when that stopped the whole reality was gone. I kept on watching but now BB UK has the most horrible people in it and all they do is fight. I love fights but not how it is now. It seems the producers desperate want to have fights and make it so. . People came with game plans and often the most boring people won. I stopped watching last year. But I did see this woman on the Celebrity Version come in. She came in late and later I discovered she even won. How come? There must be something that people like.Perhaps her honesty?

When you read her book I know I would avoid her. She is someone who constantly needs to be in the limelights. She cannot live without having attention and if it is not on her she will find a way to get it.
That being said she is a shrewd businesswoman, I give her that.

Before I began reading I did not yet have an opinion on her but reading this book I know she is not a nice woman. Very spoiled. Talking about spoiled she apparently has spoiled her oldest child so much (he is ill, half blind and autistic ) they are constantly walking tippy toes to not make him angry it seems. Well that was the case in this book.

That being said one thing you can say of Katie Price, She is never boring so this book is not boring either.
After reading this I just had to read the next one where she would tell her version of how she and Peter Andre came to split up.

I really liked this third (instalment) autobiography from Jordan/Katie Price. I like reading her books as I find her quite glamorous to be around and liked indulging into this book. She is very honest in her books about details relating to her life, not for publicity reasons but for her own sake. A good third autobiography with lots of drama! Worth a read.

a good eye opener into the true life behind all the press and cameras, felt so sorry she had to go through the tragic miscarriage and how she almost lost the man she loved. makes katie price seem like a real person who goes through real things like having social services involved and going through post natal depression …. very moving and intimate

Katie Price seems to release a new autobiography every few years, and somehow I always end up reading them. There’s just something about her I can’t quite explain. Once again, this one is full of insights, gossip, and all the little details of her life. Definitely a guilty pleasure read for me.
