Currently using this textbook in my online Principles of Communication class. The students seem to really like it and I definitely think it is a great basic book for this class.

This book defines the common sense terms and concepts. All the subjects discussed are just basic and common knowledge. It should be helpful for teenagers, but it's not helpful if you have already read a book such as Understanding Human Communication
