Landon
My life is as good as it bloody gets. I may be an Englishman, but I'm living the American dream.

In Vegas I f*ck who I want, when I want, and how I want.

Unfortunately, my father needs to pass on the family business and doesn't think sleeping around gives me the credentials I need.

I've got one week to convince him and the rest of my old school, English family that I've changed my wild ways and settled down with a "proper" girl.

The problem?

Claire's hiding something. Which seriously complicates things. She's supposed to help me get what I want ... but my fake fiancé might just ruin it all.

Claire
Meeting Landon could be the best thing that's ever happened to me ... or the worst.

He's the only man I've considered sleeping with in years ... which says a helluva lot. Mostly that I'm horny as heck, but also that Landon makes me feel sexy ... beautiful ... wanted. Things I never thought I'd feel.

Not to mention he's richer than God. Or will be if I can help him for just one week, convincing his family that we're in love and not just scheming to help him inherit the family business.

If the plan works, he'll pay me a quarter of a million dollars.

But if he finds out who I really am, he'll call off our deal.

And I can't let that happen. Not just because I desperately need the money ... but because the time I spend with him makes me believe that true love might be real after all.

But Landon is a player. And I can't bear to have my heart broken.

So I'm all in with the plan ... but terrified that I'm about to make the biggest mistake of my life ... falling in love with a man who can't be trusted.

*** WARNING: This book is not your mama's Harlequin. Landon is a bad boy who knows what he wants, and he'll get it. And sweetcheeks, you'll love being along for the ride. In fact, by the time you're done with it, you'll want to ride something yourself. Just sayin'. xo, frankie

I don't know how many stars to even give this one so I'm going to stick to 3
I finished the first book in the Las Vegas Bad Boys series and after reading the snippet of this book I had to carry on.

Overall I'm not saying it was a bad book I enjoyed it but there was alot that was missing for me. I read reviews both of the first book and this one about how this one was much better. I'm not sure why maybe the mood i was in the insta love just worked and this one there was annoying parts and it just feels unfinished I wanted so much more from the book and then i was cheking the pages thinking no..it cant end so soon there is so much to explore here. If there is a continuation and I'm just here bitching about this forgive me i guess? But i'm under the impression these are all standalones

Claire annoyed me with all the secretive parts and lying i guess. She had so many opportunities to tell Landon and it felt like one thing after another. Its like one lie leads to so many more and I was stressed out for her and was just getting so annoyed the more she dragged it on. But my main annoyance was that there was no slow build up between Claires daughter and Landon. I wanted to see him being a father figure, and to see him in that light. It just didnt feel like in the end there was a proper family feel. I needed there to have been more dialogue between the two. But it mainly focused on Landon and Claire even thought the big secret had such a focus but just not in the right way.

I enjoyed Landon slowly changing throughout the book, taking responsibility and being the man his parents knew he could be. How Claires support and love makes him want to be and do more. To be a better man which is endearing.

I love Frankie Love's style. so amazing!! I love this series ...picking a fave ... McQueen is definitely my favorite male of the group. the others just don't seem a cool, steamy or awesomeness enough ...now don't get me wrong ... but he is just that awesome. & JoJo is my favorite lady for these dudes. so not gotten take any crap from any one ... well her family maybe??! loved this read. way cool. i had to laugh over a review ... if u know anything about Frankie ...well any of this genre ... u will not get away from the cussing in this genre every ... so don't read it ... it is something u have to get over if u r going to read it ... u don't get sweet romances here. lol!! there are other sweet romances, with that style if u prefer ... Frankie and many other authors ... give u what they write ...they are totally honest about it ...and that is that. u take it or leave it ... don't leave a negative review ...when they give it to you straight. i gotta go change my own review ... i don't see any mistakes ... someone said the writing was screwed up in the next few books after i had read ACE ... i didn't see them ... i'll correct that Frankie ... maybe u corrected them way before i ever read them. thx!! awesome series ... if u like the steam, hotness and all that ... loved this one bestest. Ace probably 2nd favorite dude! ( ;

I think I liked this book better than the first one. There was just something about Landon wanting to please his family and prove that he’s more than just a bad boy that made him an endearing character.

I hate secrets and people who keep them. I wanted to strangle Claire through much of this book. Beyond that I really enjoyed the story.

Secrets, lies, and love...

Definitely loved this book. Very glad I didn't have to wait for all the parts to be released... I truly felt so much for Claire, her struggles, fears, and desire to have and be more made her the kind of character you can cheer for.

The King was looking for a Queen and didn't even know it. Chemistry and lust mixed with a little lie or three make for a volatile relationship. So much smutty goodness...

The one thing that disappointed me was Emmy...she's a minor character in this book, but I looooved her in Ace, totally could've smacked her face in this one. Claire felt like a bad friend for her secrets, but Emmy's reaction to the reveal pissed me off. Support and love shouldn't be conditional and that kind of secret should say that your friend has issues and NEEDS you.

Four stars and five plus wet panties.

*** SPOILERS***

I did not like some of the inconsistencies as well as the contrived drama that was in this book. First, Claire was working at night in ACE and now she is only working a.m. shifts. It would actually make more sense for her to work at night and be off during the day for her daughter. Also, she was available to go out on a date and work an "exclusive" poker game at night as well as go out with Emmy and Tess to the club in the first book and now she can't go out. I also think that there should have been a little more background given on Landon to understand him a little better. However, I did like Landon and Claire together though. I just feel like the situation toward the end was unnecessary. When Claire finally came clean with Landon, I think she should have told the entire story. Things could still have unfolded in the same manner. In the end I enjoyed the book.

Loved Landon, decent storyline and continued characters. But too much angst with this author's female leads. Throughout most of the books it's them pushing male leads away because 1. I'm not good enough 2. I have huge secrets 3. Family first, sorry.. WTF some angst and drama is ok, mostly the whole book? No just No. Like I said love the Las Vegas bad boys it's just their women not so much. Had potential gave 3stars b.c I do love the boys and wish I loved the girls. Won't continue on with McQueen' s story :(

Wow what more can you ask for in a book,a strong alpha male called Landon who has always been a player both in the casinos and the bedroom and Claire who is a cocktail waitress who holds lots of secrets close to her chest.
when these two finally end up in bed it's explosive and they can't get enough of each other but both struggle with the feelings that are gripping them. Landon offers her a weeks work for a considerable amount of money that she simple can't refuse but things come tubbing down when things go horribly wrong.
Fantastic story which is well written.

I liked landon, but I found Claire more annoying in this book than the first book. I get that she has baggage and a child, but seriously, just listen to Landon!! Seriously like he is telling you the truth but you are choosing not to here it. I would have preferred that she was a stronger person.

This was the first book I have read by Frankie Love and it won't be the last! Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. Landon needs Claire's help to convince his family that he has changed his bad boy ways and is responsible enough to take over the family business. He asks Claire to go to England with him and be his fake fiancée for a week and he will pay her for doing so. Claire has always dreamed of going to England and she needs the money so she accepts Landon's offer. But Landon isn't the only one with secrets; Claire has a few of her own that could bring down the house of cards they have created. What starts out as a ruse to fool Landon'd parents quickly turns into a sizzling love story that neither expected to happen. Landon & Claire can't keep their hands off of each other and before they know it they have fallen in love. Landon wants to ask Claire to marry him for real but what happens next completely throws him and shakes the ground beneath him. Will he be able to deal with the secrets that Claire has kept from him? Will he ever be able to trust her now? Will the love they have for each other be enough? You will just have to read it and find out. This was a great read and I would definitely recommend it!! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and originally posted this on another website on June 26, 2016.

I didn’t read the first in this series. I was given this by a friend. So I read it.
I gave it 3 stars because overall I enjoyed the book and will read more of Frankie Love’s work. I couldn’t do more stars because I found Claire annoying and self-righteous.
I’m okay with hating a character- some times I love hating them, but I didn’t hate Claire. She just irritated me. She lied about a bunch of stuff that wasn’t necessary and dragged out being honest to her friends and her love interest. She didn’t even come completely clean until confronted multiple times.
How can she lecture Landon about how to be a man while struggling to own her life as an adult? For someone who presents herself as a self- sacrificing mother, she doesn’t sacrifice much. She claims her life is all about her daughter, but she doesn’t act like that.

I like Landon. He’s a self- aware jackass playboy who lived his life how he wanted. He may be a dick, but he’s authentic about it.
He changed everything about his life for Claire. He humbled himself in a bunch of different ways, made apologies for his past behavior, and structured his future for her.

I understand it’s a love story and a HEA so there are some expected romantic yet unrealistic, elements, but some of it was so easy to resolve it was anti- climatic.

I liked this story for the most part. The chemistry between Landon and Claire was there right from the start. The sex was super hot. It was insta-love in it's finest form.

I did however have a hard time with a mother who is able to hide the fact that she has a child for months. I can't go a do without telling someone about my children, so I thought that was kind of strange. I kept thinking, when is she spending time with this child if her friends doesn't even know about her?

I don't know how they are going to survive in a relationship built on so many lies, but it was a sexy ride to get to their hea/hfn.

It was okey, a easy read but nothing really happend. Fake dating (fiancé) and several secretas from Claire. Love Landon and his British accent. Sofia is also super cute and think he will be an amazing father. Didn’t like that she kept her a secret from everyone, like her best friends. But at the same time they haven’t known each other for that long. And I don’t like that all relationships in this serie is like oh we meet and the next week we are engaged. Like wtf??? To fast but it’s a fast read so yeah. But at least wait a few months or a year until you get married with practically a stranger

A nice companion to the first Las Vegas Bad Boys book 1 but i think it fell a little short for me. I really loved Landon, his charm and his character was so appealing to every kind of woman around. When he gets a call from his father to go back to England for a family summit and asks Claire to go with him as his fake fiancee, I think that was doomed from the start. She was willing to do anything to make the kind of scratch he was offering her though. I really didn't believe her character much. I mean, if you are such good friends with these other girls for so long, how do you keep such a big secret? I just can't fathom that. But i guess stranger things have happened. Landon and his brother are a whole different story along with Fiona. Why do the parents allow such a strong rivalry? Almost to the point of perpetuating it? i can't understand that.. Anyway, all things work out for the best in the end for all when all secrets come out.. good read...

The King has arrived!! This book was awesome! It was so unexpected to see Landon and Claire end up together. I loved watching it all unfold. The secrets, lies and deception made the story just that more interesting. Claire has SO many secrets that she kept from everyone and Landon was an empty shell of pinned up feeling until he met Claire intimately. They both came from trouble self-inflicted pasts and healed one another in the most complete way.

I've been reading quite a few Fankie Love books, but this one really disappointed me. I liked the characters.. although I will always have a problem with instant love. The real problem was that there were just way too many sex scenes. I found myself saying to myself, "Here we go again". The story gets lost when these scenes are overused. Plus, blow by blows of intimate moments are just boring since the gest of the action are basically the same.

Trust

Poor Claire had some major trust areas and she had too after all the abuse she 'd revived from her ex and she needed to protect her daughters. Landon ask for her help a 92nd a lot of money that would help her and her mom, plus the sex is out of this world for both. While fool u my his parents they get to kno

The book is okay, but after reading some of Frankie Love’s books i can already imagine what the plot will be about and how the story will play out. I guess one has to read a few cliché books over the years, so why not choose this one?

King...

The Las Vegas Bad Boys book 2. This book was dramatic and passionate. King needs to grow up and Clare needs to let people in. What started as a lie turned into a beautiful truth.

This Claire character is so broken, low self worth that most of the thinks she does and says are annoying me. I need to read in parts because I get frustrated. Maybe it’s an anxiety thing for me. Great story line.
