Natalia is accustomed to the finer things in life, and she has every intention of remaining married to her husband, Terrance for financial support. But her heart belongs to Bryan.

Bryan re-dedicates his life to Christ, and sets his sights on a more conservative lady, Ashlee Allen. After he breaks it off with Natalia, he realizes her issues are deeper than he thought. In addition, they share a secret that could destroy any chance he had with Ashlee.
Will Natalia's conniving ways, and the secret she and Bryan share, threaten the future he desires with Ashlee?
Ashlee has faced many struggles in her twenty years. Pregnant at seventeen, and two children by twenty, she was forced to make it on her own, without the help of her family. After being let down by her father and the father of her children, Ashlee is determined not to let it happen again.

This is a must read. Natalia is a crazy paralegal, who will stop at nothing to seek attention from men. Natalia has the hots for the new attorney, Bryan. Natalia is married to Terrance because he can provide her with the finer things in life, even though she does not love him. Bryan and Natalia have an affair, not knowing that Natalia is married. The affair ends and Bryan has his eyes on Ashlee. Ashlee is a single mom of two and not looking for a relationship. Ashlee had a hard time in her young life. Awesome read…

Oh my! This novella kept me on my toes. It was a quick read but the storyline was good.

The characters were engaging. Of course, couldn’t wait to find out what would become of Natalia. She was off-the-chain. Okay, she has serious issues. I was rooting for Ashlee and Bryan all the way.

This is my first read by Cassie Edwards Whitlow and it was a good read. Grab your copy!

This was a good page turner. One of the lessons learned in this story is that its important to have communication in a relationship. Ashlee has had a hard life which led to her self esteem issues of not trusting. Poor Natalie had her issues also. Good job Cassie! I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
