Having always lived a sad and lonely life under the castle bridge, Trollerella is excited when she finds an invitation to a ball that has fallen from the king's carriage, thus with the help of the Tooth Fairy, Trollerella prepares to make herself glamorous for her special night in the hopes of meeting Prince Charming at the big event.
Not my favorite version of Cinderella ... but it does have some interesting twists. I had to groan/laugh at the pay bridge called the "trollway" ... and other silliness. But the story still had a bit of Cinderella charm.
This was a silly version of Cinderella. The illustrations were very funny and this version would be very appealing to children pre-K to 3. It was actually about trolls. It was a kind of irony to this version. The cinderella was a troll who had bad teeth and was very ugly. A fairy came along and told her that she needed to do something about her teeth. Trollerella ended up getting together with the prince. The ending was hillarious because it said cinderella went to start her own cleaning business. This would be a good book to do compare/contrast with the original cinderella with a 2-3rd grade class.
I fun twist on Cinderella. It is about a troll who goes to the ball with help from the tooth fairy and ends up marrying the prince instead of Cinderella.
