I'm pleased with the response the Jim Stirling cliffhanger provoked. It's a simple technique and if used sparingly, as I do, can add further value to the reader's experience. BUT it's nothing compared to the ending of Book 3... jus sayin...

Rocky is certainly... creative.
As with most people here, I actually only read this via the medium of the "My Dad Wrote A Porno" podcast. And as with most people here, my absolute shock and awe at the cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 14 came to a crashing and harrowing conclusion with what can only be described as the most disturbing words ever written in the history of literature. So big props to the man himself for that.
Such a fantastic podcast. Such a disturbing book. Overall, I couldn't wait to reach the end. For many, many reasons.

Basically, more of the same. Gloriously bad. The entire Amsterdam excursion alone - not to mention the flights there and back - deserve some sort of medal, possibly in the shape of good old-fashioned stocks, though the podcast and Rocky's gleeful embrace of it serve just as well.

l feel like Rocky is learning how to develop a plot a little bit more? We had some cliff hangers, better descriptions, and character development! However, the sci-fi Jim Sterling development was completely unnecessary. Looking forward to the next listen.

THIS IS NOT A SEX MANUAL! One would think this is a hoax, but it's actually true. A 60 year old man in England sat down and wrote (now several books) what he believes is a serious story about a woman in the "Pots and Pans" industry. The story is hysterical and ridiculously funny because it is politically, grammatically, temporally and biologically incorrect in every way. I seriously split a gut while listening to the "PODCAST" of this book. I suggest if you decided to buy the book(s) that you read it while at a party and discuss it while laughing out loud at how obsurd and inappropriate it is. I guarantee you will not be able to stop reading/listening to this book. I'm hooked.

On to book 3, which is now part of a series numbing up to 8 books already.
