A bit dated (1981) but surprisingly relevant, probably because small, traditional churches don’t change much over time. A recent book on the same topic came up with very similar conclusions.

I bought this book in ‘89, but only now find myself in a vocacional setting where the book really helps me better comprehend some of the quirks of the small church, and not just mine, but the other denominations’ small churches around me.

From this reading I have a list of practical steps to explore with my tight-knit congregation.
