These 4 short stories by 4 different authors were good for a quick read on sleepless nights. It’s great having the opportunity to complete reading a book in one sitting.
Understandably, the short stories in this book were wrapped up quickly, but I didn't feel the quality was there like the other books I've been enjoying recently. Each of the 4 stories were extremely quick reads. I found myself wishing I had left them before bedtime so I could read one story each night before bed.
It says Vickie McDonough wrote this book, but it was a collaborative work called an anthology, which also contained a novella by me, Linda Goodnight, and Kelly Hake. An excellent marraige of convience stories set in the old west.
Out of all 4 stories there was only one that I didn't care for which surprised me because I like the author's other books but didn't really care for her story in this book. Other than that I enjoyed the rest of the stories.
Four short stories in one book. The cover says Four Stories of Expedient Marriage on the Great Plains. An easy way to enjoy several stories. It was easy to stop when you would finish a story, in case you needed to go to bed!!!
