In this first book of the series Charlie finds himself caught up in the Peasants Revolt and as he struggles to find meaning for his life he embarks on a perilous mission to bring justice to those who are oppressed by the ruling authorities which will bring him and his family into great danger.

Born in 1928, David Nott graduated from St Catherine’s College, Cambridge with a degree in Law and Modern Languages.

Aside from several climbing and sailing feats, Nott led seven expeditions into the Amazonas. Leading the Angel’s Four team on the first climb of the face of the Angel Falls as well as being the first to descend the 1,000 ft Sarisariñama sink hole.

Also writes under the pen name Richard Owen.
