2.5 Stars. I should have known that I wasn't going to enjoy this as much as I wanted.
Tropes: Menage, Brother's Best Friend
So this is my 2nd Lucia Jordan book and the first one that I read I gave 1 star to. I think the only reason why I read it was because I got it for free on my kindle. It's a short novella about Dallas who returns home and clearly has an attraction to her brother's best friends. I thought the sex scene as hot/steamy. It definitely was well done; however, the writing just wasn't my style. I also wanted to know more about the awful relationship that Dallas has with her father. It was clear from the context of the text that they didn't get along; however, there really wasn't must explanation so it felt a little awkward. Also, Jordan apparently has a reputation for writing first books in series and then never finishing them. This ended on a major cliffhanger, but there is no publication for any other books. The bindup that is listed is actually unavailable so that's a huge disappointment. When I checked out her other books, I found out that she has done this with other books.

Dallas, Zane & Cole grew up together. The guys were older than her. Her brother Peyton was so over protective of her, it is ridiculous. I am sorry her dad didn't give her the welcome she deserved when she came back home, but her brother made up for it. I loved that Dallas, Zane & Cole have chemistry, but I am so ready to find out if it can be more. The ending had me sitting at the edge of my seat,

This is my third book by this author and I definitely rate it as the best so far. I will most likely read the sequel one day cause… What can I say, I'm just a sucker for threeway.😏 7/10.

Well, this was something...different. I bought like 10 books from Lucia Jordan on Kindle (bought might not be the right word, since they were free), and because I saw that most of them were actually short stories, I thought I'd give them a try. Maybe it wasn't the best choice to pick this one first, because it kind of left me like "okaaaay, dang." The sex scene was a bit too crazy for my taste, but oh well..
I'll just go ahead and read some more of Lucia's stories, maybe I'll like the other ones better.

Very disappointing
I was very disappointed in this one. It was a great story, scratch that it wasn't even a story it was like one chapter and left you with a cliffhanger, for as much of this "story" it was good i just wish there was more to it. And in the description about the book it doesn't even say anything about being a sample, and also doesn't mention anything about it being a cliffhanger, and there is no book2 to see what happens next. Very disappointing.

Steamy
I felt so sorry for Dallas she didn't deserve the greetings her father gave her. But her brother made up for it and the hot sexy evening she had with Cole and Zane sure made up for it. This is just the first short book in the series but you'll want to read the others for sure.

One thing I don't like is when authors mention things in books, like say; The father really dislikes his daughter and then gives a real rhyme or reason for it.
I also do not like short stories that end in cliffhangers and you have to go and buy the other books.

She's had a crush on Cole and Zane since she was younger. The rumors that they shared girls turned her on like no other but she was afraid to voice her feelings with them.
They were warned off by her brother and she was made into forbidden fruit. They both had a crush on her after she turned 18. So, when she came home, her body I guess somehow developed more over the years.

I browsed “free short stories” on my list due for this week’s short and landed on this one. Not my usual fare but I thought “what the hey.”
Well in fact there is a lot of hay in this book. In a barn with two hot fantasy men plowing out plucky young heroine straight off the plane from Italy where she spent the last eight years.
This is the reason I can’t get into erotica or contemporary romance because the writing is never good. And fantasy sex isn’t really my thing because I just pick it apart for being unrealistic which it always is. I honestly just found the whole thing silly. There were parts that could be kinda hot especially at the end, but I’ve definitely read hotter.
But it was free and it was short and therefore I can’t complain.

Returning from Italy after eight years, Dallas finds herself back at her father's house. There she reunites with two childhood friends who have grown up to be two (obviously) hot-as-hell men.
As obvious as the plot is (this is erotica after all), Rock Hard is one of the best written stories I've read in recent time. The story's heroine, Dallas, is very well executed and immediately pulls you into her world.

Add to that the issue of her brothers two hot and sexy best friends she has always had a crush on. They now look at her like she is sex on a stick. I absolutely loved this story. It's the first in a series. There is a major cliff hanger at the end. I attempted to buy the next book but I can't find it. Anywhere on any platform. Hence, the low rating. Take it down if the rest isn't available. That's just painful...lol

It is way to short to actually develop a plot but it is a very nice read that makes curious for more and leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

I enjoyed this book. Dallas comes home but her father hasn't changed. Zane & Cole see her & it's like she never left. They both want her. Peyton Dallas brother has always warned them off her. She can't resist them but is it going to end in trouble. Thanks.
