You know that camera roll on your phone? The one highlighting the best, worst and most embarrassing moments of your life? When I think of the highlight reel leading up to my two favorite nerds getting married, quite a few moments come to mind, some involving the entire family and all involving Erica. She's been a thousand miles away, but with me every step these last eight months as we gear up for the Happily Ever After.
We've all been separated through distance both physical and emotional these last few years, but a lot has changed. I'm in a different place than I was eight months ago. We're all in a different place than we were when death fractured our family. One thing's for certain, if we can survive that, we can get Emily and Declan down the aisle and go into the future knowing we'll always have each other's backs.
