This was an unconventional love story as far as I can see. A psychic medium who can also communicate with dogs and a full on skeptic who thinks she is duping his mom. The twist being guardian angels who try to make the pieces fall where they may. As for the plot, it was intriguing enough to stop me from abandoning the story but nothing too mind blowing. The characters and the writing is what made me keep turning the pages.
Sophie is a wonderful and sweet woman who does not like the criticism of non-believers. I adored her character and the way she was with JT (her dog), it just won my heart. That is another thing I liked about this book, the DOGS! You might have guessed already I am a huge dog lover, so Max, JT and Zeus are actually my favorites from this book.Coming on to Nick, now that is another strong character.I liked him just fine but there was no swoon-worthiness. It is funny how a paranormal book that borders on magical realism is the most realistic about characters and romance.
The side story of nick's dad and the shares kept the mystery alive. So overall it was an entertaining read.

Sophie is an independent shop owner with special talents. Nick is a practical construction worker who is fiercely protective of his recently widowed mother. The two meet when Nick decides to visit Sophie’s shop. Things turn out differently than Nick planned. The rest is a series of hilarious surprises as their lives become tangled together.
Otta Time is a great story with interestingly unique characters and paranormal intervention. I absolutely loved the story, and their love of animals makes it even more appealing. This is easily a 4.5 Boundless star book.

This is an engaging and entertaining love story with a twist. Sophie is a psychic medium and animal communicator who also operates a small crystal shop named Otta Time. Nick is a contractor who specializes in renovations and new construction. Nick visits Sophie's shop to confront her about giving his mother guidance which he thinks is phony. The twist is the Guardian Angels that watch over the characters and who Sophie communicates with. As Lundgren spins her plot, the Angels guide Nick and Sophie in a delightful romance despite his non-believing and his present girlfriend. Try as they might to not interfere with the human's lives, the Angel's give a little shove just at the right time.
