I have fallen in love with the Wagner men since the moment I caught a glimpse of their chivalrous manner, muscled bodies, and rose inked biceps in When Things Go Wrong. My attraction has only grown with each book in the Cheaters series and I couldn't wait to experience Chloe and Axel's surprising love story that grips our hearts just as much as the other books about the gorgeous Wagner brothers. Chloe and Axel are a love born out of Axel's need to protect a lost soul and Chloe's desperation to end it all. Fate steps in to give them a love that burns bright and strong in a short amount of time.
Chloe is at the lowest point in her life, turning her back on her family after a tragic night that destroyed her and now feels that she has no choice but to plummet to her death. That is until Axel spies a girl with ragged clothing and a beautiful face and becomes her white knight. Not long thereafter her heart is the only part of her that is taking a tumble. Chloe's troubled heart spoke to me and I couldn't wait to see her experience all the heat and kindness that she receives from Axel.
Axel Wagner is a man who is pulling himself out of the depths of an evil past and taking a more respectable path and on the road to redemption is a beautiful forlorn angel who captures his soul. Secrets and danger surround her but that doesn't stop him from falling for her and wanting to give her the best of him and a better life. Axel has taken my emotions for a ride and I have yet to return. He is by far my favorite Wagner and holds a special place in my heart... sorry Scar, Ace, and Cash.
Lacey Silks delivers a story that gives us a happy ending where her readers thought that there wasn't one. She never fails to create a tale that brings more depth to her characters along with more suspense and a healthy dose of steam. I am glad to have met each one of the Wagner men and watch them fall in love and protect their own. I am sad to see this chapter of Lacey's characters end but happy to have gotten to know them. I look forward to whichever characters Lacey decides to seduce us with next. Chloe is a surprising addition to a wonderfully intriguing series and I highly recommend for a fictional world full of mystery, unexpected turns, and characters that keep you guessing.

I love reading Lacey's books, her writing of the tragic with a silver lining brings warmth to my heart. She never fails to get me where it counts the most. My heart was filled with sadness and joy when reading this, perfection!!!

Chloe is a truly breathtaking and incredibly inspiring story of just how precious and life-changing hope can be to a lost and hurting soul. This story gutted my heart with its raw honesty and healed pieces back together that I didn’t realize had been broken. I couldn’t get over how utterly amazing this story is and how much it really needed to be told. The beauty and strength that lives within this astounding journey is something that everyone needs to feel and experience.
One night changed every aspect of Chloe’s life. She was now living her worst nightmare with no hope of way out of the darkness that now consumed her. Not wanting anyone she loved to see her like this or to have the darkness touch them, she walked away from her life. Desperate to find a way to redeem herself in the eyes of those she loved the most, she set out to rebuild her life. What she found was more darkness, but in the midst of her black night, she saw a sliver of light that dared to break through. This book can be read before or after Broken Cheaters. I read it after reading Broken Cheaters and it did not take away from it at all. Axel and Chloe had a intense relationship from the start and it grew. They started as friends and it kept growing among all the ups and downs they were a strong team. In my opinion Lacey Silks did a good job of giving the back story of Chloe and Axel. Lacey Silks gives you suspense, drama, friendship and hot steamy sex. In my opinion this is the best book of the Cheaters Series.

Axel didn't care that Chloe was pregnant with another man's child, nor did he know her background, all he knew was that he wasn't interested in anyone else and would do anything to help Chloe and asked for nothing in return. He was patient, and made it clear to her that he would be there for her and the baby when she was ready.
There was a bit of heartbreak in the story, I have to be honest a few tears where shed. The story was beautifully written and I'm so glad the unanswered questions from Broken Cheaters were answered in this book. Another fabulous read by Lacey!

If you haven't read "Broken Cheaters," I recommend you do so before reading "Chloe."
After suffering a horrific and brutal rape, Chloe runs away. She leaves everything behind, even her family. Months later, Chloe finds herself pregnant and living on the streets. Cold and desperate, she sneaks in to a party hoping to get off the streets for just one night.
Axel is wealth, sexy and has a dark side. Trying to avoid party goers, he hides out on a balcony, where he meets Chloe. Realizing she's homeless, he offers her a job with no strings attached. Axel starts having feelings for Chloe and her unborn child. After suffering a miscarriage, Chloe is told she may never be able to conceive again. Axel helps Chloe overcome the lost of her baby. Their love grows stronger every day. Then a miracle happens, Chloe becomes pregnant with Axel's baby. After the baby's birth, Chloe decides to go home to see her family, and confront her attackers.

Chloe has a past that she feels will always follow her but she takes a chance in leaving her family and friends to get away from a situation she thinks will correct its self if she was gone. But little did she know that it was all the actions of one man that caused all of her fears.
But after she leaves she finds friends that try and help her put her life back together even thought they don't know her dark secret.
Axel is the one man she feels she can trust and give her the life she always wanted. But she knows she still needs to expose her past secret.....
You don't always get what you want in life and sometime you will loose a life in the mean time.
What Chloe went through to get to peace had you grabbing for your tissues !

I will admit, I was hesitant on reading this book because of knowing how Axel's life turned out after what happened to Chloe. But I really enjoyed getting her story and seeing their relationship develop like it did. It was so sweet and yet intense at the same time. I loved how their relationship started as friends, even though they had that intense connection. You could almost feel it coming off the pages. I was worried that I wouldn't enjoy this book as much because I was afraid it would almost feel like Axel cheating on Trish even though Chloe came first, but Lacey wrote this in a way that once I got started, those thoughts never crossed my mind again.
Lacey continues to bring us amazing books and I can't wait to see what she brings next.

Chloe met Axel when she was hitting rock bottom. After the past month of her life, she just wanted to end it all. What she didn't expect was to meet Axel as he literally talked her off the ledge. And neither could've guessed what was still to come...
This was an almost perfect ending for the series. Why "almost perfect?" Because I wasn't ready for it to end! Chloe broke my heart and Axel was such a great guy. I don't know if I could handle going through everything they faced - as a matter of fact - I think I would end up in an institution.
I highly recommend this book, and if you haven't read the rest of the series yet - you're missing out.

Chloe is the final book in the Cheaters Series. This is the story of Chloe and Axel before he met Trish. I fell in love with Axel in Broken Cheaters, but this book definitely put him in a class of his own.
Axel literally saved Chloe on the day he met her. She was giving up on a life she felt wasn't worth living. This sexy and giving man gave so much and expected nothing in return. He fixed her broken and made her whole.
This is a tender and heartbreaking book for many reasons. Knowing what happened to Chloe going into the book made it even harder, but knowing how much she was loved and adored made it easier. This is a book you really must read!

This is a tender and heartbreaking book for many reasons. Knowing what happened to Chloe going into the book made it even harder, but knowing how much she was loved and adored made it easier. This is a book you really must read!

This was definitely a different read.As the last book in the series, you know what happens to all the characters. This story takes you back to Chloe. It's her story...all the ups and downs.
It was weird going in to read Chloe. I know what happens to her and I was really hesitant to actually read it. I am so glad I did. Chloe's story actually answered a lot of questions brought up in the Cheaters series.
Great end to a great series. Chloe is definitely the best way to end it as her story brings the whole series together and strangely, you could say brings closure.

After reading Trish and Axel's Broken Cheaters, I am a bit apprehensive to read Chloe's. After all, we know how it will turn out in the end. But the thing is, she also has a story she wants to tell me, and she deserves to be heard.
Like Lacey Silks' other Cheaters series, this will break your heart and then make it better. This book will give you hope, warm your heart and make you fall in love. I can't believe that there will be no more stories about the Wagner brothers. I will miss them terribly.

I received "Chloe" by Lacey Silks for an honest review.
I have to say wow. Lacey never disappoints. I actually read Chloe before I read Broken Cheaters and I am so glad I did.
I found the story so haunting and beautiful. I cried and laughed and I will be reading both again sometime soon.
Chloe is in such a dark place in the beginning and following her journey with Axle is full of ups and downs. I loved the ending, although it made me cry in Broken Cheaters, and I look forward to many more stories written by Lacey.

Chloe meets Axel when she is at her lowest and he saves her, setting her life back on a path it should have been before that fateful night when everything changed. Axel tries to keep things business between them, but he is drawn to Chloe in a way he never expected. I loved this book from Lacey Silks. Axel and Chloe are hot together, yet he is there for her in any way she needs when again her life is shaken to the core. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a beautifully well written book. I don't expect anything less from Lacey. I loved Chloe! I am so glad she got her own story. It really answered a couple questions I wondered about. Axel is absolutely perfect. I cried throughout and loved this so much. What a wonderful and emotional finale of this series. Bravo Lacey Silks. Bravo.

Loved this story! Chloe and Axel's story grabbed me from page one and didn't let go. This story has it all....romance, steam, heartbreak, some action and suspense, and great characters. Chloe's tragic past just breaks your heart and Axel makes you fall in love with him because he is so wonderful to Chloe and changes her life for the better. I highly recommend this book... it takes you through all kinds of emotions. Received ARC from author for honest review.

WOW! I honestly wasn't sure what I was going to think about reading Chloe after Broken Cheaters, knowing her demise, but let me tell you it was PERFECT!
Getting to know Chloe and Axel as a couple was perfect! This book was filled with so much love and passion! I definitely had my share of tears in this book too! All I can say is WOW, a great way to end the cheaters series (if indeed that is the end :)

I absolutely loved Chloe and Alex story
Getting to know Chloe before we meet Trish truly gave me an insight n how Alex became a better person. A truly ok inspiring beautiful moving love story. Chloe was starting to heal and make amends with her past. She taught Alex how to live and love a a person. 5 stars

I read this after reading axle's story as this gives the background behind his and Chloe's story a story of 2 broken souls meeting by chance at a low point in their lives for totally different reasons.
It also covers some difficult topics sensitively and sensibly not going to give it all away read the book it's an emotional journey

A brilliant prequel
Knowing the ending before Cloe’s back story had me crying through out the book. Then the twists and turns I didn’t expect had he tears flowing harder. Wonderful story!
