Yes, this is my novel. Why'd I give it a five-star rating? Because I can, and because it's good. It's a part of the MARCY SERIES, and is Book #3 in the continuing story of Marcy, Brad, and Liam. You could probably read it as a stand-alone, but I wouldn't recommend it. The first two books introduce you to these three confused, angry, controlling, and stubborn individuals, and I believe you need that to even begin to delve into the reasons for their messed-up lives. Yes, it's a story about hopes and dreams and true love, but it's more than that. It's about three people whose lives are more complicating than we originally thought.
The series is long, but I feel it's satisfying as a continuing story. Like any good novel, it has highs and lows which result in laughter and tears. There are surprises and more confusion. When I read it in its entirety after it's published, I engross myself in it like I would a first-time reader. I look at it as much as possible, from an outsider's view. I want to see if it holds my interest and makes me want to continue to read. If it does, I know I did my job. Now, I'm not saying it's going to be a five-star for everyone. Yes, it is for me, but books are subjective. We don't all love or even like the same things, and that goes for movies, food, clothes, and books. But, I do feel if you give it a chance, you might find yourself involved in these three lives as I am, and you just might enjoy it enough to continue reading beyond the first novel.
