An Early Fall picks up immediately after the tumultuous events of Against the Storm.
The world has changed dramatically for the Red Hawk Republic. Allies are now enemies, as greed and a desire for power drive wedges between the communities that survived the Great Reset. The Hamilton family faces their toughest test yet, simultaneously sheltering refugees and striking back at those attempting to force their will on their neighbors.
Once again the troopers of the Self Defense Cooperative must face down invading armies while the Wizard Engineering Corps develops new ways to defend and feed the Republic's ever growing sphere of influence.
And now, the real reason for the Great Reset has finally been revealed. It's up to the Republic to convince warring nations to put aside their differences and face the danger of the Northern Caliphate and their hidden sponsors. If they can't do that, they'll all face An Early Fall.

Great story
Great story, only one major error: author uses" viscous" for "vicious" ! Otherwise well written, a few errors of subject / verb agreement, plural/ possessive errors.

The Fortress Farm Series takes a community into the dystopian future. It's interesting how they interact with other communities which are not prepared, with internal refugees, and how they manage to govern themselves.
