This was just a quick read that I picked up to read while I was walking to work. First of all this is one of the better dog trivia books that I have seen and would recommend it to those who like dogs or may want to learn a bit more.

Although some of the information is commonsense or that which one may have heard before there are some that will be new. Furthermore a lot more dog breeds have been covered within the presented facts than is normally the case when you are reading a similar type book. The only thing that I would love to see in a book like this at least once is the loving nicknames given to any breeds such as Doxies, Westies, Rotts, etc. since it would prove to be a dog book.

Otherwise it is a good quick read and one that isn't without pictures, which may have helped the book more, especially for those breeds that may not have been known. And the last thing is for the stories in the back I would have dedicated a page or half of a page to each pooch while not treating them as trivia.

All in all truly a good read and one to get the dog-lover or fancier started if they would like to explore various breeds and/or other doggy facts.
