After finishing anime, I wanted to read the manga as well, just to extend the experience!

Story- going to an alternative fantasy world and returning to a check-point after dying-exactly like a videogame! Still, interesting concept.
(However don't ever think that dying is easy even in a fantasy world. It is scary enough. Poor MC)

Characters-MC Subaru is my favorite . Though a bit dense, he is sweet, helpful and kind character. Emilia is cutie and also too kind for her own good. I also like Felt and master swordsman Reinhart (he is hot).

Art- is rather good and easy to look at.

I really enjoyed the first arc and ready to see the new arc coming with more adventure and more *sob* suffering *sob*..

This volume has the introduction to a character I’ve always fancied: Reinhard van Astrea, the best swordsman in his house, and the most powerful knight in the kingdom. On the other hand, we also get to know who was the one behind Subaru and Emilia’s murder, and that is a woman called Elsa, more known as the bower hunter.

She was behind Felt’s thieving job and she wanted the badge at all costs, so she didn’t care if she gutted some people out. She’s the first villain we get to meet and she’s a powerful one too.

The action scenes are really exciting and in case you were wondering, this has some explicit content, so if you’re sensitive to severed body parts and violence without censor, this might not be your type of story.

But if you’re not bothered by that, I can assure you, you will enjoy this. We get to know more details about Emilia, Felt and Subaru’s character too. Being killed so many times made him realize there were things that were always the same, like Emilia’s kindness, Felt stealing the badge and Rom being the guard to the meeting point.

So he uses his cleverness to protect Emilia and the others from such terrible fate. And by the end of the volume, in exchange for his help, he asks Emilia to tell him her real name. And man, the big, bright smile he gives him is enough to make him fall in love.

Still, this ends up with a cliff-hanger and the second check-point, so I’d recommend you to have the next volumes, ‘cause this has only just begun.

It was good but hard to appreciate it properly already knowing the story due to watching the anime.

Subaru continues on his quest to rescue those who previously helped him, despite his only aid being a time travel power triggered by his death. As the story utilises terrific art amidst a smartly told tale that treats the time loop tale as though it is a video game, I am finding myself intrigued by where this goes. This is a thrilling addition which takes an especially interesting turn at the end. Consider me hooked.

After watching and reading the novel and the tv series adaption. I got to say, Re: zero has got to be my best read novel of all time. Without a doubt, this novel has stolen the special spot I've placed Evangelion on. In this novel and the rest of them introduces a cast of characters that blew my mind away, although it wasn't something I've never seen before, but the way the story makes them interact with each other just blows my mind. This is my biased review on the current state of Re:zero 2020.

Definitely an improvement over the first volume! I liked the characters and plot better as well and am actually interested in what is going to happen next. Since there aren’t any other volumes available maybe I’ll check out the anime it’s based on.

Another good installment in the series. So far it's been basically exactly like the anime, which I've already completed, so hopefully the next volume will bring more character insight or something.

I am really not sure if I want to continue this series. I don't hate it but I don't know if it's winning me over. I am intrigued by Reinhard "The Master Swordsman".

Natsuki Subaru can reset time. However, he has to die in order to go back in time. I like this because it has an interesting time travel mechanic which can be traumatic.

Pure escapist entertainment. Kind of the manga equivalent of potato chips: you can't stop with just one.

Same as first vol, only drawings are obstacle, but plot is still amazing and I was really curious how will the 2nd chapter look like as manga (cause I read already light novel so I knew the plot).

Nice volume. The story is well written. The characters are interesting. The drawings are very nice. I think a good team has been formed. I almost want to read the novels.
