Clean and Wholesome Western Historical American Mail Order Bride Short Story Romance!
Story Description:

Alice is a young woman who appears to have everything that life can possibly offer. She has wealth, status, and friends so dear to her they might as well be sisters. To top it all off, she is on the verge of marrying a man with whom she has had a whirlwind courtship and who has managed to turn her head against all odds and her loved one’s better judgement. Alice believes firmly in the power of love and marriage, but when tragedy strikes she is forced to invent for herself a life she has never even considered. It is that tragedy that drives her out west and to the ranch of Bradan Shaw, a man with nothing but love and good intention in his heart. He is exactly the sort of man for Alice, but will she be able to see it before it’s too late? Will she take this new chance at life or will the past that haunts her take her future before it ever arrives?

I read this awhile ago, and now have just been getting around to review it. Alice has been jilted and been badly hurt. She leave and goes west as a mail order bride. Alice learns to trust Bradan, but Bradan is your typical man and believes he must do all the providing. This story is good and worth reading.
