I really love this series. I adored Blake in this one. He is just too cute. Good plot, good writing, and MPREG. What more can I want, eh?

The reason for my deducting a star is that there were a few grammatical errors and mis-named issues that need to be fixed. That's all.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series. It is one of my guilty pleasures. :-)

***3 Stars***

Before I begin my review, I just want to put upfront that there's Mpreg (male pregnancy) in this book. I don't know if that's considered a spoiler for some, and if it is I'm sorry, but I wish I would have known before I started this series. I looked at a couple of reviews and the category tags for the book and saw no mention of it.

Unfortunately, I wandered into something that I really had no interest in reading about and my emotions took a left turn to the land of being a little uncomfortable. I ended up skimming any mention of it (there wasn't much).

Also, I've chosen not to include my initial feelings about Mpreg as part of my rating.

***********************

NOW, moving on to my review.

Blake saved this book for me because Dylan grated on my last nerve throughout most of this story. His wishy washy attitude and flip flopping about his feelings for Blake drove me bonkers. I understand that things weren't ideal on his home visit, but it's as though the moment Blake wasn't within 5 feet of him, every genuine emotion he felt about the man fell out of his head.

And the fact that NO ONE in his family thought it would be a good heads up to tell him that his ex-boyfriend is marrying his cousin...what the hell is that about? They didn't tell him ahead of time, they didn't tell him when he arrived....they didn't even tell him after he'd been home for a day. They let that unbelievably awkward and uncomfortable moment blindside him. Asshole move family....asshole move.

Blake....oh how I love him! Blake was the charming, confident (yet slightly vulnerable), sexy and charismatic comedic relief needed throughout this book. He's impossible not to fall in love with. Which is exactly why I couldn't understand why Dylan was having such a hard time sorting through his feelings? He felt absolutely nothing for his ex and everything for Blake....yet he'd let blurred teenage memories confuse him.

Blake certainly has the patience of a saint.

When they finally got on the same page, it was definitely a site to behold. The two of them make a great team and compliment each other perfectly. They support and balance out each other's strengths and weaknesses like true partners.

So far, this series has walked the middle of the road for me. Nothing has really wowed me, but I'm still interested and invested in the characters.

At the end of this book we get a sneak peak into the third, and final, book in this series.....AND OH BOY!! Based on that tease....Noah Harris may have left the best for last!

*** Wild Shores, is book 2. *** We met our cast in book one, Sailing Deep, and we continue !
Alpha Blake and Omega Dylan have been apart for two weeks, and meet up for a family wedding. Dylan's cousin, Alex is marrying Blake's brother, Ben, who was Dylan's boyfriend when a teen. Covert Ops Blake,
is a stunning Alpha shifter

who wants Dylan forever.
Dylan is an unusual Omega shifter, because he's a hunky Navy SEAL.

They became mates, but are worried about their military careers. Tension erupts as Ben is jealous of Blake and Dylan's relationship, and causes trouble, with heated comments and actions. In the midst of it all, Dylan discovers a huge surprise, and possible problem. We get some angst, self realizations, a deep bond, and Blake is awesome with Dylan.
You will want to read Sailing Deep before reading this tale to understand the past, the connections, and why things are this way.

Great story ! Well done ! ENJOY !

I really enjoyed this story! Blake is such a great character - not too overbearing, loves Dylan, stands up for Dylan, and isn't afraid to show the world he loves his mate. There were some really cute parts in this book and there were some hot as heck parts!
Overall a solid win for Noah Harris - now onto book 3

"No one ever said life would be easy, but neither of them is willing to give up or give in."

MM: Wild Shores picks up two months following the wild ride of Sailing Deep. Following his unexpected immerge into the Shadow Pack and pretending to be Blake's mate, Dylan is now forced to take a mandatory leave. With so much going on, and Blake's disappearance, Dylan decides to go home to lick his wounds. It doesn't help that his family is preparing for his cousin's wedding and the whole pack will be in full force.

You can go home again, just avoid family like hell!

Going home should have been relaxing. But family has a way of always getting in your business. In fact, Dylan would have stayed away if he knew that his cousin was marrying his ex, Blake's older brother!

Throw in his sister's nagging, Blake's sudden reappearance and his lover telling his family that they are together and Dylan feels as if he is in "The Twilight Zone". And on top of the drama, Dylan is faced with sudden jealousy from his ex, defining his relationship with Blake and pregnancy.

Christ on a stick, we've got MPREG!!! Can ya hear me screaming? Both men work hard to get their relationship on even keeling. With determination, Blake and Dylan fight for their HEA.

I enjoy my Noah Harris' reads and look forward to more in the future.

More M/M MPreg Shifter Romance

This is the continuation of Sailing Deep. The MCs are both military, one a Navy SEAL. Their relationship has developed while undercover as pretend mates. Now they are thrust together back in the small town where they grew up.

There is action, but the development of the relationship is the focus of the story. Blake has been infatuated / in love with Dylan since he was a teen, and Dylan was his older brother Ben's boyfriend.

Now, ten years later, both end up at "home" for Ben's marriage to Alex, Dylan's cousin!

What follows in lures the "pack" relationships and interactions. Many times the dynamics are heavy on simply substituting "omega" for "feminine/woman" and "alpha" for "male."

Nevertheless, I was drawn into this world of werewolves families and (erotic) romance. The author tells a cogent, absorbing tale, and I wanted to learn more about these men throughout the novel. The characters are consistent and well developed. Both are likable and interesting men, even if they can change into wolves at will.

The book could do with one more good edit, but most errors are pretty minor, with one glaring mistake with a name. Actually, the most irritating part of the story came after the lovers began penetrative sex in the woods and later, but there was no opportunity/no mention of lubricants!
River water is not lube. Really, Noah!

I thoroughly enjoyed this installment of a HEA gay shifter MPreg romance. I hope the series designation means more will follow. Much of the necessary background was mentioned, but the story would be much better if vol 1, Sailing Deep, is read first.

Great sequel

This is the second book in this series. Blake and Dylan separated for a little while and both are feeling the mating bond. They are brought together again by family obligations and the past. Even through mixed signals and crazy ex's they find their HEA. I hope Noah will give us Mason's story next. Vampires yes!!

Dylan is not your typical Omega, submissive, pliant, and trim. He is compact, sure of himself, and built. He is also kind, generous, and loving. Blake has loved these things about him since Dylan dated his older brother, Ben. Dylan and Ben meet again under very trying circumstances and Blake is thrilled for their relationship. Dylan is confused by his deep feelings for Blake and the resurgence of Ben. Throw in a few more twists and you have an awesome story. I love Dylan, Blake, and their budding relationship.

Audible Review

The narration again was good. Not super amazing but was able to listen and not be annoyed

Dylan was supposed to be this tough, super seal soldier, yet came off as an insecure, whiney, submissive. Yes I understand he was an Omega, but the past 2 books kept telling me he was different, that he didn’t think or act like an Omega.

Also the story line with the ex boyfriend, yea irritating 😠. So much to say but don’t want to get angry all over again.

After 10 years this guy still has that much pull on Dylan? Also, all of Dylan’s actions towards the ex angered me.

The other thing that frustrated me was all the way till the end of the book he still was questioning his feelings for Blake. Poor Blake, he deserves better.

This is book 2 in the Navy Seal series. I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. The story is fantastic! As I knew it would be. The story is filled with just the right amount of angst and tension, jealously and alpha dominance.
Dylan isn’t sure of his feelings for Blake now that Blake has been gone on assignment. Blake knows the relationship will work, Dylan just needs to get over his insecurities. Dylan is sent on mandatory leave when he can’t get his feelings under control. The leave comes at the same time as his cousin’s wedding in his home town.
Dylan’s ex-boyfriend Ben, who happens to be his current boyfriend Blake’s older brother is marrying Dylan’s cousin Alex. No one in the family told Dylan because they were afraid of his reaction. When Dylan and Ben see each other again after many years of separation, it’s evident they are both in shock.
Dylan is curious to know if his old feelings for Ben are still there. As Dylan and Ben share a kiss after years of being apart, Dylan becomes aware it’s nothing like Blake’s. When he kisses Blake there is a total body connection. He knew he was desired when Blake was kissing him. When Ben kisses him it is about eagerness and domination. When Dylan realizes the mistake he’s made he has an overwhelming need to find Blake. He must confess to what has happened before Ben can distort the truth.
Dylan also has a secret he’s keeping from Blake. A secret that is terrifying him. Something that is bringing all his insecurities back into the picture. If he tells Blake will he be angry? Will he be happy? Will Blake want Dylan to leave the SEALS? Will Dylan have to join the Shadow Pack?
Although it would be wonderful to read another story about this loving duo, I have to say, I like that I can use my imagination to know where their future may lie. But I won’t deny there are too many questions left unanswered. So Mr. Harris where will you take us next? Will it be another story about Dylan and Blake? Or will you add some new characters to the series just to keep us guessing? Wherever you take it is sure to be an excellent adventure. I can’t wait to tag along for the ride.

I loved Wild Shores. Wild Shores is the second book in the M/M Navy SEAL Series. I fell in love with Dylan and Blake in Sailing Deep, and I fell deeper in love with them in Wild Shores. I loved getting to know both of their families. I loved that Dylan is having doubts about his feelings for Blake and that they are affecting his ability to interact with his SEAL team. His superiors notice and put him on mandatory leave which works out for him cause now he can attend his cousin Alex’s wedding. However, Dylan may not have gone if his family had told him who the groom was going to be. But his family has been keeping it a secret until he sees him again, his ex-boyfriend Ben kissing his cousin Alex. Seeing Ben again brings up all of his old feelings that he used to have for him when they were dating. Now Dylan is even more confused about his feelings. Especially when Blake shows up for the wedding also. Blake is quick to reaffirm his feelings for Dylan. I loved all of the slow buildups of sexual tension between Blake and Dylan. I loved getting to know more about their backstory. Especially Blake’s feelings for Dylan as he was growing up and how much of a crush he had on Dylan when they were younger, and Dylan was dating his brother. I loved getting to see Blake stand up to his brother and that he can’t be dominated anymore. I loved the tree house and how Blake wants to fix it up and pass it on to the next generation of children to play with and have a safe place to hide. I loved that Blake and Dylan’s relationship gets stronger as the book progresses. And I loved the surprise that the book has in it. I really hope that Noah Harris does a third book to this series. I want more Blake and Dylan. I recommend reading Wild Shores and Sailing Deep. I received this free book in exchange for an honest review.

I like this series and I liked this book even with the mistakes. Noah Harris is too good a writer not to have better beta readers or editor. Watch your pronouns! One sentence had four pronouns referring to two people but no nouns. Remember when you are the writer you cannot be the final editor.

Still, the story is good. Dylan hasn't been back to home and the Pack since he left ten years ago. Much has happened to Dylan in that ten years. Dylan is an Omega but is big and strong, I love that. His Dad taught him to carry himself like an alpha. The Navy Seals demanded it.

He had a stronger personality, He had his own opinions and his own mind. He never faked a personality and never faked ignorance or batted his eyelashes to get what he wanted. He wasn't submissive and didn't bend for anyone.

Blake is an Alpha who is so secure about himself that he usually doesn't need to play the usual Alpha games. Just don't insult Dylan. Blake has worked undercover in dangerous situations. He is also a skilled computer hacker for the government. The family dynamic and the family wedding causes chaos. Dylan cousin is marrying Blake's older brother, Ben, who just happens to be Dylan's first love.

He wanted Ben to see. He wanted Ben to know that Dylan was his now. It was a desire that made no sense. Ben was engaged and soon to be married., He shouldn't care about Dylan anymore. But still, Blake wanted to make it explicitly clear that Dylan was his now.

These two make a very good couple. Their relationship is more equal than the usual Alpha/Omega pairing.

Blake was like his rock when it came to being in his hometown. Blake knew the real him. He didn't have to hide who he was now, and he could easily tell Blake anything.

Looking forward to the next in series.

Awesome sequel!!! This continued story of Dylan and Blake is absolutely perfect. Dylan a Navy SEAL Omega is sent home on official leave. He uses this time to go to  his cousin's wedding. He hasn't seen family in years and is dreading his homecoming. He's also worried about his feelings and status in regards to his relationship with Blake. The two have been out of touch for two weeks and he hasn't seen him since he escaped from the Shadow pack. Blake an Alpha who works as a spy is  fresh off his mission and  goes home for his brother's wedding. Dylan and Blake run into each other. Since they are both related to a groom in the wedding. This story has the drama of unresolved issues with old lovers that causes jealousy and raises questions about feelings in current and old  relationships. That conflict may finish the relationship of Dylan and Blake before it even begins. Blake has made it into the top 5 all times favorite Alphas he's patient, kind, and forgiving. There are a  lot of cute moments, one of my favorites is when Blake and Dylan are both in wolf form. They are running through the woods. I love their interaction with one another. This is an amazing story with great characters with the exception of Ben. This is definitely a must read. I'm going back to read Sailing Deep then Wild Shores again. Perfection!!!!!

Just keeps getting better and better! I loved Sailing Deep so much I was scared that this sequel wouldn’t live up to my expectations. How WRONG could I be? Dylan and Blakes story just keeps getting better and better. Wild Shores picks up almost where Sailing Deep left off with Dylan and Blake having been separated by Blakes undercover work for a few months. An impending wedding back in their home town throws them back together and the heat between them reignites immediately. There’s the additional complication of an ex boyfriend of Dylans, who happens to be Blakes brother Ben and also the revelation of the ‘real’ reason Dylan has to take mandatory leave from his Seal team, both ensure the tension builds slowly but surely. Noah Harris is getting really good at building tension in his stories, which unfortunately means his books are now hard to put down, so be prepared to read this in one session. The sex scenes are so ‘hot’, better than I’ve seen Noah write before, and there’s a ‘secret’ which I didn’t think was going to be revealed but was, right at the last minute. Still it kept me on the edge of my seat right up to the final pages. As with Sailing Deep there is a ‘Happy for now’ ending with the promise of more to come. Thank you Noah, I can’t wait! I was given this book free in order to give an honest and unbiased opinion of it. This is the second book in this series of Navy Seals and Spies. Dylan is an omega and a Navy Seal. Bigger and stronger than most alphas, he had been sent into investigate a suspicious compound of shifters. He compromised and the only thing that saves him is Blake, an uncover spy. He claims that Dylan is his mate. A relationship develops between them and when Blake gets Dylan out of the mess he is in, they becomes mates. Not only that but Blake finally reveals that he is a childhood friend and the brother of Dylan's ex-boyfriend. In this new release, Blake has disappeared for two weeks and Dylan hasn't heard from him. Old insecurities and self doubts attack Dylan. When Blake gets back, refuses to answer any of Blake's texts and calls. Thinking to give himself an opening to get away from all the questions and fears that he has, Dylan goes home to attend the wedding of his cousin. Blake attends too. What follows is a story full of angst, love and secrets. A must read to find out what happens in this new release that leaves you wanting more. I hope that there is a third book that follows Blake and Dylan, two main characters you don't want to give up.

If you haven’t read book one you need to. This one picks up right where the first one stopped. I loved this book, it was easy to fall into reading. Once you get started you don’t want to put it down. You have Dylan who is an Omega who doesn’t look or act like an Omega and you have Blake who is an Alpha. I loved that it’s not a normal Alpha Omega book. The Omega is stronger than the Alpha and I loved that. You have Dylan who is avoiding Blake, not sure if what he feels is real or not, and you have Blake who is sure that he wants Dylan. After avoiding all of Blake’s messages he is a little surprised to find that they are both attending the same wedding in their home town. Oh did I mention they know each other from childhood? Well they do. It turns out that Dylan’s ex is none other than Blake’s brother. Who is getting married to Dylan’s cousin? Yeah that’s a mouthful. What happens when Blake’s brother finds out about their relationship? Will their relationship be strong enough to handle everything coming their way? You’ll have to read to find out.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review so here goes!! After reading book one I was hooked but wild shores has been even better. The characters are wonderful and you come to love them, Blake the macho Alpha who has kept secrets from Dylan but all for love. He has a softer side but lends his strength to Dylan help him be who he is. Dylan the strong powerful Omega that has to be the strong character the Navy has encouraged. Together they find strength and acceptance to be they are. Noah Harris writes with skill that brings the characters to life, weather you hate them or love them he makes you feel them!! The love is hot and the sex hotter, not for the weak of heart!! I have been reading Noah Harris books for a while and I watch him grow and develop book by book and I encourage everyone who likes a book with a twist and a lot of hot love to pick up a Noah Harris book you won't be disappointed. I would love to see this story unfold more with a third book fingers crossed!! Well done Noah on another fantastic read.

Dylan and Blake have been together for nearly two months when he was undercover, but recently things between them haven't been so great he is hardly hearing Blake and he has doubts about the relationship and these doubts are affecting his performance at work and he is put on mandatory leave. This couldn't have come at a better time cause his cousin is getting married and he can use that as an excuse o go home and visit his family. But what was to be a relaxing vacation turned upside down when he discover that his cousin is marrying he ex who is Blake's older brother and who turns up out of the dust Blake. Now Dylan has to be happy for his cousin and his wedding, his feelings for Blake and his feelings for his ex. Blake isn't in a better position his brother is jealous and overbearing and Dylan is pulling away from him, so Blake has a plan to make things work between them and its working. Now they both have something to look forward to since they are expecting.

There have been few books that have been good enough that I gave them a 5 star review. So few I can probably count them on one hand. So, that said, I have to say that I really loved this book. I really enjoyed the first one with Dylan and Blake, it was well written and I really liked the chemistry between the two of them. I was really happy to read this sequel. First off, I love the story lines where there is an unrequited love. I feel it makes it that much more rewarding once the other character falls. I really liked how the ex-boyfriend was brought back in, if for no other reason than for us to make the comparison between Blake and Ben. I also loved the basic unexpected pregnancy route. All in all, it was well done. Thank you Noah for yet another excellent read!

Things get worse, but they also get so much better

I really enjoyed the first book and this one was even better!

Since their departure from the Shadow Pack, Blake and Dylan haven't gotten to spend much time together. Between his lingering doubt of being mates and uneasiness of the separation, Dylan is having major doubts. It throws him off and his superiors notice, getting him to take a 'vacation'- some forced leave so he can get his head back ttogether it just so happens his cousin is getting married, so Dylan heads home but to find out the marriage is to his old ex and Blake is there too.

This book did really well because it brings up some normal but very real relationship tests; family and exes. Family is great but can be a real test on patience and love, and can really break apart a new relationship. Add in that the ex is family and you have a whole new can of worms to deal with.

I loved how Blake was in this book. He was really proving that he was in this for good with Dylan, there as a mate not just a fling. He was patient and caring, being there for Dylan in any way he could. At the same time, Blake knew when to let Dylan solve things for himself, even if it went against his alpha instincts. I especially appreciated that Blake didn't see sex as a way to fix things in the relationship. When Dylan was distressed he took time and talked, even when it was a very naked distressed Dylan. All of these things showed that this was a real relationship and it made me fall so in love with Blake.

Dylan continues to be the lead in this book; the book starts from his perspective and we don't see where Blake is until Dylan does. It was important to remain this way because this book is really about Dylan making a decision. He is the one whom is uncertain about a relationship, about opening himself up and making a family. Bring back home where omegas are small and submissive and family is overwhelming makes old fears and doubts come to rise. It was great seeing Dylan work through things, because he didn't blame or lash out. He may have at times felt insecure and afraid but he worked through everything and sought out what he wanted in life. It was sweet seeing him be vulnerable with Blake, something he normally wasn't, and it was great seeing how he worked out his feelings.

This book ends on a great note and I am extremely excited to see how Harris will cap off the story of Dylan and Blake!

This author

Now let me tell you about this author. He has a good storyline, I so far like his characters though Dylan has a bit too much doubt for how much love Blake gives him. From the way it is written it comes of repetitive to me, but that didn't truly bother me too much. What bothers me is that this is the second book I have binged in a day. I binged Sailing Deep, yesterday and this one today and these damn endings are FAR too anticlamatic. It's like there's this nice buildup and I'm like wow he can take this in quite a few directions, but then the directions he takes them in are just anticlamatic. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm invested enough at this point in time, probably solely at this point for Blake, to read the third book. But damn.

The first book I let the ending go, it seemed rushed and again anticlamatic. And then I started this book and was super excited to see where it went. Loved the jealous brother, loved the doubts from Dylan's end (because that's realistic when there's distance in relationships), liked meeting the sister and the brother of Dylan, but the wedding relationship was shitty, the decision they made pertaining one of the groom's seemed a bit mean especially given the speech about love, and then the big reveal...it fell short for me.

I think this author has a great story and I think it could be downright phenomenal, but these deliveries for me are falling short. I'm holding out hope for the third book. Let's see how that one goes.

Lovely

Just finished the second book and on to the next one. Currently 2 am and I do not think I can stop. Noah has written such an amazing series.
This one was also a bit fast paced yet endearing all the same. I expected more of a conflict given the subject, but this turned out fairly decent. A few fights and some insults.
That may be the downfall of this series. Just how tidy and perfect everything is.
I love the characters and the conflict has been done before but it was carried out so neatly that it just became boring.
Yet I still gave five stars cause despite the cutesty writing it was still engaging. Despite the overused troupe of reunions with exs, it was still fun. Despite that fact that issues are easily over looked, it was still loving.
You can see the love everyone has for each other. That makes up for alot of the mistakes in this story. Noah truly out done him self.

Few editing mistakes crept into this one

This catch up with Blake and Dylan deals with their former pack lives mostly and the fall out from Dylan's ex, who's also Blake's older brother, getting married to Dylan's cousin.

There's posturing, displays of jealousy and a whole load of emotional turmoil but nothing of the military and spy elements of book one.

There were also a few more mistakes than in the first book, wrong tenses, tenses changing through a sentence and once, the wrong character's name being used.
But they were minor in the long scheme of things and the book was still an enjoyable shifter romp.

Sweet continuation

I thought Book One ended on a weird cliffhanger. Although this book was completely devoid of any spy/SEAL activities, it was a sweet resolution to the first story. If you’re looking for hero alphas running special ops, don’t let the cover fool you, this story might not be for you. However, when read in order with the previous book, it makes a good resolution and meaningfully sweet story. There is no action other than a confrontation between ex’s and a bar brawl, lots of family drama and a teeny bit of angst. It was a good book even if a bit different from what I was expecting.

Great book

Omg this book was so good I can’t wait for more to come! Blake and Dylan are perfect for each other! I think his brother should have had to admit to Dylan’s cousin his sins of meeting Dylan in private! Bens an ass in my book! Anyways this is a great series and I want it to go on for awhile! Keep up the great writing I’ll be reading from you until I can’t read anymore.

Great Follow Up

While not as exciting as the first book in this series this book is still a great read. The evolving relationship between the two main characters and then the introduction of the people in the town that they both grew up in make for a lively story. Can’t wait to read the next book.
