Hammertown

Rate this book
Poetry. In HAMMERTOWN, poet Peter Culley re-imagines his home town of Nanaimo, British Columbia, not as it is, but as it might be imagined in the mind of a Parisian who had rarely left his city. This is Culley's fifth book of poetry.

An interesting and thought provoking collection. Hammertown is the work of a poet who understands his art. The flow of the work is extraordinary and insightful. To re-imagine a place that you know so well is to reach creative heights. I am inspired and engaged when reading Peter Culley's writing.
