This book gave me a new prospective of the concept of productivity.

The approach described in it (The Perfect 15-Minute Day Method) was new to me, but helped me better understand how I use my time, where do I allocate it, for which task and how much I accomplish on a day-by-day basis.

The book's premises are simple: by dividing our work-routine into small chunks of 15 minutes, we are better focused on any task and dedicate to it our full attention. This increase our attention on the task and the quality of our work.

Although sometimes I found the book to go too much into specific details, I can't stress too much how it might be incredibly helpful to people who want increase their productivity and to get more done.

This book has some great ideas about time management. I liked the idea of checking in at periodic intervals to see if you want to keep working on a task or shift to another one. The end of day reconciliation is a good plan that I’ve used most days, and will try to do more often.

At the same time, I think it takes on too much or assumes too little. There’s no perspective on other time management techniques and how this could fit or be modified either others. There’s no mention of neurodivergent thinking of time. The handling of thoughts and emotions is pretty surface level and assumes self-awareness to recognize it’s happening.

It’s a starting point. It’s something to try, but I wouldn’t get confused it’s the only way.

The Perfect 15-Minute Day by Pierre Khawand is a simple little book with some good ideas on managing your time, thoughts and emotions. I like some of the strategies better than others, but that still makes the book a win for me. If I get one good idea from a book, I'm happy for it.

The plan revolves around focusing on tasks for 15 minute periods. The author does a good job of explaining why, and illustrating how to use this plan. It is also flexible so you can keep working longer than 15 minutes if you choose. And that is a key. Choice!

I wasn't as keen on the Awareness Wheel idea, but can see how some people would use this to achieve more.

Again, it is a very easy read and there are some good ideas to be learned. You can take some of these and use them as the author does, or modify them to better fit how you do things. It's a positive book that also encourages and inspires you to gain clarity and focus so you can do more. That right there is a big plus in my book, as every so often it is easy to get a little off track. This book helped nudge me back in the right direction, and I liked that.

If you are wanting more focus and more productivity, why not give The Perfect 15-Minute Day a read. It might be just what you are looking for.

I have always been interested in time management, organization and efficiency. I was excited to read this book, and hopefully learn something I could apply to my life. Every day I make a list of the top 3 things from my to-do list that I should focus my energy on finishing. I love making a to-do list, and feeling the satisfaction of finishing things on it. I love reading books about habits (I recently finished Better than Before by Gretchen Rubin and The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg). This book was great at adding the next layer to my habits and time management. I liked the idea of focusing on something for 15 minutes, and then reevaluating whether you can renew your efforts for another 15 minutes -- I focus better this way. I love the idea of the results curve. I like small steps, I like breaking large tasks into smaller, more manageable ones. I have applied this idea into my top three tasks for the day (I call this my Most Important Things or MIT), however, I've been unable to apply the list making, as it just seems so clunky and tedious. For bigger list-lovers, maybe it would work for them, and maybe I'll have the motivation to try it eventually.

What an eye-opener!

I was very intrigued when I ran across this book. The idea that you can do anything for a short period of time is not new to me, but effectively using it in a productive way made me think. I'm so glad that I took the time to read this book. The strategies outlined in the book made perfect sense to me and were not something I didn't feel like I could implement into my day with ease. The method talked about is something I could see easily increasing my productivity, reducing distracted rooms and better managing my workload. The authors use of easy to understand terms and reasoning made the pages fly by and gave me encouragement throughout.
I would highly encourage this book for anyone seeking to better manage their productivity, decrease stress, and increase confidence. I will be using the method I learned going forward and referring my friends and Co-workers as well.

Great Introduction To the PMD self managementsystem

As a busy professional I have a lot on my plate and never enough of me to get it all done. Pierre does a great job of introducing some of the ideas of his Perfect Day method of self management in this book. It's enough of an introduction that I bought another of his books to gain a greater understanding. Looking forward to learning more.

This book came to me at just the right time. It has a really sensible, useful system that will be easy to implement at work and will both keep me accountable and encourage me as I make visible progress on my projects. It is a synthesized version of Pierre Kwawand's previous book, Accomplishing More With Less book.

Fantastic Insights

I liked the ideas presented here. The author lists good productivity knowledge and the reasoning behind each idea. I have just started to explore bullet journaling, and i think that i could combine the two methods.
