Barbara Holcomb has walked away from an unloving relationship and come to Texas to visit her Aunt Ellie. On the way to her Aunts she a man shot on the side of the road and she helps him. When she gets to her Aunt Ellie she is on crutches and holding a gun. She has been attacked and robbed. The man she helped turns out to be a friend of her Aunt and a Texas Ranger. He wants to find the robbers and get to know Barbara. It's a fun and action packed romance.
