A pretty odd comic! I didn't expect something like this from Scott McCloud. From 1986, it's 32 B+W over-sized pages of a supervillain attacking and destroying NYC. Worth checking out for fans of precise line work, some of the panels are quite nice especially as the battle gets to its climax.

SCOTT McCLOUD'S TAKE ON BLOCKBUSTER NONSENSE IS PERFECT & HILARIOUS!
This one-shot was nothing but all around fun with superb artwork. Something produced back in 1986 this parodies a lot of what is to come for the industry in a couple years. Making it 1000% AHEAD OF ITS TIME! I was able to find the SUPER OVERSIZE original format, on Ebay for $25 and it's 100% worth every penny. Go find this comic and read it. PLEASE!

This book makes sense now then back in 1986 for blockbuster superhero movies like Man of Steel.
