A pleasant enough tale if you make allowances for a young, romantic heroine who is looking for a rake to tame, & is too dim-witted to realise Wolviston isn't one. Mind you, she's not the only one. I'm pretty sure that there would be more evidence of same if such were the case. Clarissa Derhurst & Evan Fortesque, Lord Wolviston, are nice characters, even if they're both a bit silly.

Out the box is what she wanted and by golly she would get it anyway she could. Did they go to Gretna Green? Did they get married and have children? Was her family happy or disappointed? Will we know, read to see.

I did enjoy reading a Regency romance once again. I'd say this one ranked between a 2 to 3 stars on my personal scale.

got this on my kobo ereader the other night and im loving the story so far .. wanted a change from just readinbg (authough hot) Supe and Highlander romances so saw this and thought sounded great a nice historical :)

have a diff cover to this on the kobo but its a good read so far :)

This book I thoroughly enjoyed with the strong rogue male figures and the fiery but innocent female. Loved the writing style and although there are quite a number of errors which should have been taken care of editorially it was merely a passing annoyance in the light of the enjoyment of the story.
