In FINDING HOPE, Book One of the Savage Cinderella Novella series, we pick up the story a year after Brinn's return from the wild. As she and Justin struggle to work through her recovery, Brinn must come to terms with who she is and discover her place in this strange new world. When Cody asks for her help in solving a kidnapping case for the FBI, it brings her worst nightmares screaming to the surface. But will it be exactly what she needs to finally put it all behind her and move on? Or will it lead her down a path into a dangerous world? A child is missing...and time is running out.
Follow Brinn, Justin, Cody, and a cast of new characters through a series of novellas (30-40k word short novels). Each story will bring a new adventure, another crime to solve, and more danger for Brinn and company as they delve into the world of human trafficking.

I really enjoyed Ms. Sharon’s story of Brinn Hathaway, a young woman who was kidnapped as a child and held for two years by a man who deserved to be locked up under the jail (in my humble opinion). In the first in the series, Brinn is safe and at home. The morning the novella opens, her very good friend Cody calls to ask for her help. Cody is with the FBI and is on the team investigating the disappearance of another young girl, Hope. Cody suspects Hope has been taken as part of a trafficking scheme but his bosses in the FBI aren’t listening. He really wants Brinn’s help in proving his theory as well as rescuing Hope. Against her lover’s advice and the worry of her parents that investigating a crime so close to her own experience will set her back emotionally, Brinn agrees. In doing so, she discovers strengths she didn’t know she had. She finds strength but will she find Hope?
This is a very good thriller. I enjoyed every bit…except the concept of Brinn’s living wild for many years after her escape from her captor. That was too much to swallow. But because the things she used in the wild are part of how she can help solve crimes in the present, I suspended belief. I recommend this series.
Loved It! FINDING HOPE will twist your heartstrings into a tight knot while revving your adrenalin. In this beautifully crafted thriller, PJ Sharon delves into the psyche of a woman who survived anyone’s worst nightmare with the intuitiveness of a trained psychologist. Instantly, I was drawn into the story of Brinn at 19, a few years after her restoration to society after being taken from her home as a child. (Savage Cinderella). Now, barely hanging on to her new normal in a strange new world, Brinn risks destroying the delicate balance she has achieved by agreeing to assist the FBI in locating a missing child named Hope. Once the plot heated to boiling, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I can’t wait until Book 2 to read the continuing saga.
