My favorite part of the book, was near the end, with all of the quotes. Made me smile and not to be so hard on myself.

I gave this book a five star rating, because of how simple and informative the writing was to read. Also, how the pictures were clear and colorful. I am grateful I found this book to restart my stretching journey in this lifetime. The one thing I would criticize, is how they would say " it's science" without cites of actual data.

This is written in an accessible style and demystifies stretching and how it works to benefit your body. It's user-friendly with clear directions. Stretching is a huge part of my day-to-day life because of many physical therapy stretches to deal with chronic pain from a variety of sources. I like using books like this on stretching because part of my physical therapy is learning how to adapt stretches into something I can do. Of course, my physical therapists can always help me figure this out if I'm stuck. This book gave me some new stretches to work on and aspire to, which is always valuable to me. There's only one picture per stretch, but some of of them would benefit from having more to illustrate changes in positioning. I'm blind and so rely on text descriptions, but my SO relies on the pictures to tell me if it looks right. I received this at a free or discounted rate in exchange for my honest review.
