"I should just give up. Every year there are so many children gone missing, and the younger they are, the thinner the chance for them to turn up alive."
3.5 stars. We have a group of underdogs (with a drunk, a young hothead female cop, a wimpy cop among them) in a police department which no one cares about, said department is focused on handling missing person cases. But every years there are so many people gone missing in Tokyo! So what will happen next?
As a series' opener, this books does do a good job, the pacing is good, the author gave us a good grip of those underdog cops, the ending is reasonable and satisfying as well (though it's not ground breaking in any way). I will keep my eyes on this author and his works.
