Picked this up in a holiday book swap and being a mad football fan decided to give it a go. Unsurprisingly if you know there's a football connection and you look at the title it's not going to take many guesses to guess that this is the George Best story. I found the book really interesting, there was some good inclusions from George's family and people that he knew. I never realised that his mother was a chronic alcoholic and this is obviously where his love of the drink came from. The other fact I'd forgotten was just how young he gave up top flight football originally (26). Anyone interested in football or delving into famous people with a tragic life will find this a fascinating read. A good book for its kind.
