This is a brilliant book on discovering one's destiny, and using it to live out a hope-filled life. There are however a few contentious and quite frankly, erroneous passages in the book. For example, in one of the chapters, Tony states that we must give "God permission to act". On the contrary, there is absolutely no scriptural basis in such statements because, the Bible plainly and openly declares that, "The LORD does whatever pleases Him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths." (Psalm 135:6). After much deliberation, I consulted with my better judgement to conclude that the book was deserving of a strong 3 stars, but would have been scored higher had it been accurate enough in it's use of certain doctrinal truths and not posit any theology that can't be supported by biblical evidence when postulated.
I think it is imperative to really study scripture for ourselves, so that we are not misguided on things pertaining to God and His limitless power, especially when our destiny is on the line. Apart from that, this book really helped me put things into focus and sets me up to ask the right and relevant questions, in order to ascertain what my goal in life is and what I am here for. For that very reason, I recommend it to anyone who wants to view their own destiny through a christian lens and apply the Bible's telescopic perspective, for detailed clarity on difficult issues. Tony Evans does a great job in magnifying biblical principles that help us zoom in on God's plan for our lives. Hopefully those who pick up a copy of the book on the strength of my review, will find the read an enriching and rewarding one, as long as they keep verifying everything that resonates with them by referring to the scriptures - because ultimately, what matters is God's word.

Easy and inspirational reading
I enjoyed the very down to earth way Tony Evans shares the gospel. He conveys his message in a clear way that is broadly understandable. That is how you go fishing and are able to catch/win souls for Christ. The interpretation of the scriptures is also made very relatable, so that you can hear Gods voice and His love for us. Enjoyed the book very much.

I have read many Tony Evans books, and have yet to read one that is not five-star worthy. This book will help one on their journey and help one to comprehend how to decipher what the Lord God has for them. One must sit with the Lord in stillness and listen. This is a great book to help anyone along their destined path.

Tony Evans is the MAN! BOOM! My best friend gave me this book to read and the timing couldn't have been better! Tony explains things so eloquently and helps you apply these things to YOUR life! A must read for every Christian!
