The father and mentor to best-selling author Deepak Chopra presents a thorough, illustrated handbook to spiritual and physical health, drawn from his long experience as a cardiologist, medical research, and the wisdom of ancient India. Tour.
I read this book years and years ago. I presume this is the edition I read because there was no mention of Deepak being one of two authors.
I really enjoyed this book especially due to the fact that I agreed with probably everything Doctor Chopra said.
I also do not believe in putting my entire wellbeing in the hands of one person regardless of his or her qualifications. That can be very risky. Just because a person has a credential, it doesn't by any standard guarantee quality of care or competence. A doctor can be board certified, but all that often means is he knows how to take a test (based on my own personal experiences). Some of them have 2 or 3, and I find that frightening because it means their minds are wondering around among and between 2 or 3 different subspecialties, and they probably don't have time to be experts in all two or three.
