Auriela McCarthy, born in the former Soviet Union in Riga, Latvia, escaped from behind the Iron Curtain in 1980 to come to the United States as a political refugee. She taught English, sold art in a gallery, and by 1985, after only five years in the country, had opened her own art gallery in San Francisco with the premier U.S. exhibition from Pablo Picasso’s estate. A whirlwind of success followed, as she became known internationally as an art dealer and an expert on the art of Picasso. But behind the bright façade lay conflict at home, memories of heartbreak and loss that had marked her early years in the Soviet Union, and unexpected health problems.

After a spiritual awakening, Auriela ended her marriage, closed the art gallery, and completely changed her life. Working as a private art dealer, she dedicated her life to internal reflection, meditation, and deep immersion into metaphysics. After twenty years, she emerged a spiritual teacher with a clear message of hope, compassion, and understanding. For the last fifteen years Auriela has been helping people from all walks of life with their life and relationship issues. This book is the culmination of her teachings.

Auriela holds an M.A. in English and English Literature. The Power of the Possible is her first book in a series of three. She lives in Northern California with her husband Mykaell.

This book has beautiful and moving, real and difficult but important messages about love, relationships, and healing, many worthy of quoting. The book gets you to look at the challenges you face in relationships, what holds you back, and it humbles you. However, the book is wordily written with a repetitious style of writing that could have benefited from a better editor (also to fix typos). I was especially disappointed by the thirteen pages where the author describes in detail a feature film, tells the reader to watch the movie, and I was thinking, "yeah, I'd like to see that," but then she continues giving more of the movie away, including the film's ending!

Pehle to kehti hai ki you can not change people by simply resisting them or telling them what's wrong in them. The will resist more. Aur End mein behenchod khud hi samjhane lag gyi "if you want to help the ones you love, stop talking to them , stop doing doing this or that and start doing this ( on 100th page) ". Behenchod saali chudail chutiya aurat maa ki aankh kya khatiya book likhi hai aur main iske 100 page padh bhi liye.

This book is trying to convey the message that if you want something so bad and if you do all the necessary things to get it done then you will truly achieve it. This book give us so hope so much inspiration. If you are felling low at a point of life just read this book it will inspire you to strive harder and not loose hope

The first half of the book is really fast and inspiring. As you read, you will find that author is putting the same content in different words.

I think this book is ideal mainly for people who're struggling in relationships - marital, with parents/siblings/friends or even professional.

It's good. There are many quotes here which are very wise. Most true-life examples shared by the author here are about lovers or married couples but the essence of what's being conveyed by the author can apply to any aspect of our life, even issues we face with our parents or maybe our boss too. Most relationship problems are communication problems and Power of the Possible tells us on how to effectively tackle this. No quick fix or shortcuts but the best possible way definitely.

As I said earlier, some of the author's quotes and sayings from other great philosophers here are worth reading again & again. Timeless in their wisdom, and so required for us to follow with all our hearts.

The Power of Possible - True stories of Healing and Transcendence - a book that touches upon on concepts like relationships, forgiveness, love, healing…. The author has beautifully dealt on these aspects with stories and real – life incidents.

‘It takes courage to love and to be real with the one you love. It takes risking looking like a fool and risking being rejected’ - beautiful lines from the book. Those going through difficult times in their relationships can look for guidance from the book; it helps reflect, heal and move on... ‘Embrace the power of possible’.

However, this is a good inspirational book for everyone.
