In this book Tory and Maelgwn's twins are changed with two creatures of the other world. Tory decides to keep them but Maelgwn is not happy and goes on a mission to see Inanna to get back his previous possessions, finding he has a mixed race son.
Brian, who is now governor, finds himself in an epic fight which lands him at the centre of a legend.
When Tory is kidnapped and loses her memory when she runs into the falcon-kind incarnation of Maelgwn.
I am not enjoying this series as much as the previous trilogy. There is a bit too much focus on the mystisim element and less of the story. I will persevere though as I head into the last book.

I've greatly enjoyed exploring Kila and the worlds beyond.
We get to spend time with the old characters and meet some great new ones!
I CANNOT wait to find out what the future holds for THE CHOSEN in the last book of this trilogy.
