Impossible Match

Rate this book
IMPOSSIBLE Chantel Cameron didn’t object when her father hired Tyler Brogan. If the brusque, arrogant man had a head for the electronics business, then he belonged at Cameron Industries. But Chantel drew the line when Aaron Cameron asked his daughter to befriend the man. From the firm set of his jaw to the bold look in his eyes, Brogan was strictly business. And from his distant manner, she had a feeling Ty wasn’t interested in making a hit with her high society circle of friends. Tyler Brogan had been a loner in Los Angeles and he had no intention of changing his lifestyle here in Chicago. He’d landed this job with Cameron Industries through a twist of fate, a family secret that had unraveled in a most unusual way. Though destiny had favored him once, he was not about to tempt fate by getting involved with a sophisticated lady like Chantel. In was an impossible feat, but Aaron Cameron was determined that Ty and Chantel would become friends. He wasn’t beyond a bit of trickery. He wouldn’t rule out a scheme or two. And if he had to get tough, he could — and would.

This is a unique contemporary romance. The relationship between Tyler and Chantelle is not what I expected. Regrets from our pasts do catch up with us. Glad everyone had open minds without jumping to conclusions.

Narrator Johnny Pepper did a fantastic job of keeping the storyline hopefully and not strange.
