Very funny. The typos were a little off-putting.

Peanut Butter, Playdates & Prozac is a delightfully honest guide for parents. As the author states on the first page "I am certainly no esteemed expert. (One look at my kids will verify that!). But, I am a little less annoying than your mother-in-law and a lot more honest than all of those helpful books".

The advice in this book is direct, realistic, and most importantly reminds the reader of the intrinsic humour in those situations that usually drive parents crazy (something we all need to be reminded of sometimes). This book also challenges the reader to remember the ultimate purpose of parenting- to love and enjoy our children in all that they do and all that they experience.

I recommend this book to all new parents. Hopefully this book will make you realize that a loved child is more important than a clean house. I also think that veteran parents (if there is such thing) will enjoy this book as it will remind them of those moments that seemed so grave at the time but now are cherished memories.

Hilarious. Gave copies to all the moms in our playgroup. Honest & reassuring that we all face similar challenges. Takes some of the (often self-imposed) pressure off new moms, hearing we're not the only one overindulging in Starbucks and hiding in the bathroom from our kids (when we can get them to let us close the door, that is!)
