Just when she thinks everything is falling into place, tragedy strikes and she finds out that her mother has suddenly passed away from an unknown illness. With her mother being the inspiration behind her pursuing her education, she decides to keep her promise and continues to attend law school. Reality eventually sets in and she realizes that she's barely making ends meet. With her large tuition looming over her head, she decides that becoming a phone sex operator would help relieve her financial stress. Graduating from the phone side of things to the internet, she earns the nickname "Kasual." With her finances back on track and a for sure plan set in motion, things come to an unexpected halt when she meets DeVonte D'mere. Not realizing that he is one of her biggest clients, she is confronted with the truth during a "Kasual" session when DeVonte appears on the other side of her computer screen. With her secret finally out and her time in law school limited, due to her extracurricular activities, will Kaylah give up on her dreams and break her promise to her mother, or will she sacrifice all she has gained for love?

I couldn't put this book down. You never know what someone is going through on the inside . I was going through emotions in this sad then happy then said. Kaylah's aunt was something esle wasn't feeling her at all. I love Devonte and Kay relationship and how she was there for him.

Must Read

I absolutely loved this story! It showed a lot on what a person has to go through when they want to make a way for themselves as well as gave an insight on the fact that Lupus is a silent killer. Kay wanted to do something with her life and made some choices that some didn’t agree with. Sad to say the one person who told her about it got greedy and became a snake in the grass. This snake almost caused Kay to lose what she had left in life. Thankfully Kay was no fool she knew what she had to do and did it. Devonte was such a sweetheart. I loved his character. He loved him some Kay and although he took a step back that didn’t change how he felt. This book was definitely something I would recommend to friends and family.

Good read with twists you didn't even see coming. Kayla aunt and uncle was a hot mess and I didn't care for them. Loved the bound she had with her sisters and Kiyah. Nina wasn't a good friend but she didn't deserve to die. Sasha and Jasmine was bitches. Loved Devonte once he got his head on straight. Some parts of this was a tear jerker for me. Good job authors.

Kaylah ended up doing what she planned on doing. I'm glad she stayed by DeVontes' side. Great job I enjoyed it.
