Good info for beginners, poor file in the kindle app

The generic info in this e book is good for a basic understanding of different Linux flavors. However there are a lot of screen shots and boxes that just don't display well at all on the kindle. Most of the commands shown are also blocked by white boxes.

Linux rules

I could have used this 25 years ago when I first started working at the phone company. Omitting this was a poor choice at the college I attended between 1992 and 1994. I feel this should be required reading for anyone wanting to learn alternative IS to Windows.

Alot of useful info but,

There is a lot of good info in this book but I would say that some terminology used is better suited for those with a little more understanding of computers and lingo. Intermediate not necessarily beginners.

Easy Linux for Beginners is a quick read.

Nicely paced and an enjoyable read. It does a very good job covering the basics for the beginning Linux users. I liked it.
