Stalker...psycho...crazy....all of that! Plural, it should be plural... there was definitely more than one person who fit the title but the author makes it clear where the focus should be! This book was highly entertaining! Well written and well narrated, I enjoyed Abby's antics but I also pitied her. It seems no one was a true victim (in reference to the adults), they all had some low down dirt they did. I felt for Abby's daughter Kendall. I kind of figured out part of the outcome of the story but I still enjoyed getting there and it also included a little surprise at the very end as well. I guess the heart wants, what the heart wants... to the point where you might screw your life up and all. Ms. Brenda Hampton didn't disappoint on this one! I'd recommend to anyone who loves drama and doesn't mind a few sex scenes.
I can honestly say I have enjoyed this book ! The writing is amazing and there were some laugh out loud moments that had tears streaming down my face ! This author has a talent for storytelling. This book is about a woman that’ll go through great lengths for love … even stalking.
I almost gave up reading after the first chapter, it had a very amateurish 1990's vibe going that I didn't like, but I stuck with it and it got much better. I have to admit that Stalker turned out to be pretty entertaining and thrilling. It provided a lot of laughs and it was hard not to want to find out just what Abby would do next.
The ending was frustrating and not completely fair, but what can you do?
My main gripe was all the foulness I encountered while reading. I do not like extremely graphic sex and over the top bad language. It was so bad even the narration was foul. I had to knock off a star for the outright nastiness of an oral sex scene. Is it really necessary to let us know that there was plenty of semen for a woman to swallow and lick off her lips?
Let the above serve as a warning for the kind of material you will come across if you decide to read this book.
I really enjoyed this book. The author kept me hanging on until the very end. I was kind of surprised at the outcome, but it was all for the good. The author did a good job of making the main character so unlikable, and it made me want to keep reading to see if she got what was coming to her. I can't wait to pick up more books by this author.
Stalker is an understatement. The title definitely fits this book. Abigail took stalking to a whole new level. She went above and beyond all for the love of a man. I was almost afraid to turn the page, because I didn't know what to expect next. And I most definitely didn't see that ending coming. I kinda figured there would be a plot twist, but not like that. Kudos to the author for knocking me off my square.
I’m not very surprised with the ending. Abby was terrible omg, the 2nd hand embarrassment was of the charts throughout this whole book!
Even though I cringed throughout the whole book I liked it, I just wish that Brent suffered consequences for what he did. I mean Abby was definitely off her rocker but Brent didn’t deserve to off in the sunset with his wife, which is why I only rated it 4 stars

This book was all over the place. There were too many plots going on at once. How in the world could Abby Wilson date Brent Carson and go totally off the deep end when he broke up with her?
Abby was PSYCHO and dumb as hell all at the same time. I can't believe Brenda Hampton wrote this mess. This book was written like a bad urban fiction novel minus the typos.
I can't believe I read this. I can't get my time back either.
Omg this boookkk wasssss soooo amazing. So many twist and turns and a major plot twist HUGE PLOT TWIST at the end. Even though some of the characters descriptions weren't really detailed the story line made up for it every way. The lessons I took from this book was always ask questions, be careful what you ask for and never doubt your children.
Abby and Brent entered into the relationship and Brent was so dishonest in his representation. He was so fake and she was so silly to not see the signs. As she was asked in the end, was it worth it! Can you say I didn't see this coming at all, her poor daughter! Just read the book you will not be disappointed at all. This is Brenda Hampton at her finest. I thoroughly enjoyed this one Ms. Hampton, Great read! Keep them coming!
4/3/22
I read this book again because I really forgot all that happened but it was once again one of the best books I've read in awhile! Brent will get his and hopefully Eric too! Abby was just obsessed over Brent and couldn't see what was right in front of her! Poor Kendal she was trying to tel her mother the real deal but she wasn't blinded by so called love! Crazy crazy crazy. I hope Brent and his wife gets their karma as well as that darn Eric! Great re-read!
This was such a page turner, Abby and Brent was in a relationship that ended abruptly when he decided to patch things up with his wife, Abby wasn't having that and went on a rampage to make Brent's life miserable. I didn't see the ending coming, always pay attention to your children they know when something isn't right. Now I know why Kendal hated Brent.
Brenda this was a excellent book, a lot of twist I didn't see coming!!
Once again this story has knocked me off my seat, definitely had me wanting to really Slap Abby because she definitely had issues. This is my second time reading this book!! One of my favorites, can’t wait to get to book #2
This was a page turner indeed. When I save karma is a B! I mean it! I couldn't believe Abby had it in her to be so dang crazy. The beginning she seem like a nice women in love. But hey love can make you or break you and it sure did break her my gosh! I felt so bad for her daughter because she let a man come first before her daughter. I kinda felt that something was fishy about Kendal not liking Brent but the end told it all!! What a great read! Love is blind and it will take over your mind!
Abigail was a vicious female in love with Brent, a married man. She solicited her other lover Eric, a St. Louis police officer, to kill the wife. Well, we all know how that turned out for Abby. Prison time for thirty-five years, no less. This was a good suspense novel.

A story of a side chick that was more caught up in her community dick having ass nigga rather than her daughter. When he broke it off, she grew an obsession and tried to have him killed. The book was an absolute page Turner. Takes you a day to a few hrs to read. Wonderful job Brenda Hampton.

This book was mind-blowing. I cant believe the extremes women go to for a man. Aint no way. Abby is the true definition of a psycho. I understand being in love with a man but once he tells you/shows you he doesnt want you, its time to let go sis. But Abby just couldnt do that. Some of the shit she did in this book made me laugh out loud, and then she just started doing too much. Brent was wrong as fuck for dealing with someone else while he was married and he deserved EVERYTHING he got. Abby was a terrible mom to her daughter. Really broke my heart. She was so focused on Brent, that she wasnt even spending time with her own daughter.. and then the twist in the end took me out. 🥴😳🫢 If you are into urban and messy books, give this one a try. You’ll love every bit of it. If anyone finds themselves relating to Abby, go seek some help ASAP! 😭
i picked this book up at the library. This was actually my first read by this author and I have to say this was a good book. The events kept you on your toes. To think that someone can be that obsessed with another person that you basically throw your life away is absolutely crazy. Abby lost all focus dealing with Brent, she barely paid attention to her daughter and didn't see what happened right under her roof. When Brent ended things with her, she snapped. The funny thing about this book was almost everyone was being stalked and just about everyone was a little crazy. The events that took place in this book was on another level. I honestly don't think you would be disappointed if you decided to give this book a chance.
Wow what an intense book, this book right here had me shaking my head, fussing wanting to slap Abby on several occasions. I figured out the ending before the other shocking ending event. Abby was given so many passes and chances to change her life around but no she just had to have that man. I agree he was wrong for what he did to her but suck it buttercup and move on.
Revenge can destroy a person and in this book. This girl was so intent on revenge that she literally destroyed not just her life but also her daughters and her grand baby. She was given so many chances to correct the wrongs in her life and she refused
I didn't even get through the first chapter. Focused more on the looks of the characters and 'glowing skin' and a mother telling her 16 year old she's jealous of her because people think they look like sisters, because she takes care of herself? Wow.
GIRL WHAAAAT??????? The ending was NOT what I expected at all. Books like this always remind me of the movie “Obsessed”, but this was a whole different LEVEL!!!
Really enjoyed the writing too, I want to read more of her books!!!
3.5 stars. this was a light and fast paced read. I needed this story to be longer because the ending leaves you with unanswered questions. It was clear from the beginning that Abigail was crazy. she neglected her daughter, Kendal all for a man. In the end it all comes together about what type of man Brent really was and then it just ends. I definitely needed more to tie it all together.
The story of what happens when you think your boyfriend is about to propose but breaks up with you instead. This book had a lot of unexpected twists and turns. It was a very good read.
