Split

Come into a world of love-struck fish and super-intelligent bugs; of the ordinary and bizarre; of then and now; of this world and the next; of people you know and folks you hope never to meet. These twenty-seven original stories and poems have but one thing in common: they all show two halves of an idea, two sides of a coin. They show what happens when a concept becomes SPLIT.

Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

A friend of mine is a member of the, Humble Fiction Café, and I anxiously waited for this publishing effort, just like I anticipate the next book from a favorite author.

Split, is a labor of love, nurtured from the collective minds of 12 unknown writers. Actually it was created by a writers group. People not unlike you and me, who love to sit back and allow themselves to be taken on a journey. Ferried by the mind of a talented writer, traveling to a far away place. The author often paints a complicated and sometimes wonderful and frightening place to entertain and capture the mind of the reader.

This group of lovers of the written word has crossed the bridge that takes us all, to a land we have never been.

Each of the authors has a unique style that carried me along. At times seeing people we have known, and other times to places that are all too real in this society. They achieved what all writers intend. To take the reader on a trip, and to places not yet discovered, or did not want to acknowledge.

I await the next installment from this fledgling group of authors.
